The hotel location at Jln Merdeka, Bandar Hilir Melaka. Near at Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan. Parking is free provided by the hotel. No Deposit when you check in the hotel. Staff hotel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean tidy and comfortable. Air-conditioning is cold. Easy to get the food and beverage by walking distance.

Enjoyed the good breakfast here ,especially the coffee machine available to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Hotel room was clean but a bit dirty on the towel . The service team was great and friendly. A bit disappointed was the swimming pool is small and close early .

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

Regular guest at this hotel due its excellent location close to the main tourist attractions, eateries and shopping malls. Room is comfortable and quite spacious. My usual grouse is the tiny shower cubicle that leaves splashes of water on the bathroom floor. But overall, a satisfactory stay.

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.

Love with their welcoming cookies. The cleaness of room and toilet is satisfied. Had a chill and peaceful stay. Not regretting that we choose here to celebrate our anniversary.

I have stayed in dozens of hotels, as you can see from my record on the Agoda website, but this has been the worst stay ever!!! I arrived at midnight, and no staff assisted with my luggage. There was a male staff in a black shirt who just walked past me at my car without offering any help, and there was also a pregnant woman (a customer) who just got out of her car to check in, and no one helped her either. The night manager, named FARED, assisted with my check-in. I requested a late check-out at 3 PM because I had an event under my company at the Ames Hotel as well, but the next morning, he informed me that I had to check out at 2 PM. I complied even though I had told Mr. FARED the night before about the late check-out at 3 PM. However, when I was having breakfast at the Merchant Lounge, a manager named JOSEPH told me that I had to check out by 1 PM, even though FARED had confirmed with me the night before that I could check out by 2 PM. I find this completely unacceptable. JOSEPH also mentioned that my room was upgraded for free, even though I paid extra for the suite—it was not free. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional because he did not check my room details before speaking with me. He made it seem like I received a complimentary upgrade and was not entitled to the service I deserved. This is extremely disrespectful, and this is my honest review of Ames Hotel Melaka. Thank you to the lounge staff named DILA for calming my wife and me and providing good hospitality service.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

Honestly I’m so scared. But this place is *******! At exactly 1-2am in midgnight i could hear agressive violence between a man and a women, literally stomping feet , running falling here and there crying and screaming to the top of the voice, in the morning we asked the receptionist while checking out whats the sound upstairs, then they told us there is nobody in 2nd floor, i could hear chants of a man crying etc etc. But I seriously think this place is *******. Or somone is doing sorcery there.

Need to deposit of RM50 (refundable) + Local Tax Service of RM2 (non refundable). Very strategic location to stay if you have an event at Ayer Keroh esp in MiTC Melaka. Plenty of parking space is available during weekend. Room cleanliness can be improved. During my stay, I'd issue regarding water pressure in bathroom (eventhough I was staying at level 2). Overall, just Okey to stay for RnR in regards to it's price offered.

From the sweltering heat of the lobby to sp**** staffing, everything says “we only wish we are a 5-star but...”. Mudzaffar looks like they are a hotel training academy specialising in aiming at generating as many as guest complaints as they can possibly get. What they actually do with the complaints is anyone’s guess: probably classify them under OSA. These are the training areas that we experienced: 1. Air-conditioning in lobby not functioning. Probably for vocational trainees under find the cause. Or for finance officers on how to brutally reduce cost. 2. Inadequate staff to handle concierge. Designed for managers who can see the effects 3. Shops not opened. For time management trainees to see relationship between opening hours and revenue 4. Toilet with no hand drying facilities. For maintenance staff is and why the floor and door knobs are wet 5. Late check in: Staff learning to admit guests strictly at 3pm check in time despite hotel near empty on Sunday at 2:00pm 6. Slip shod construction. Meant for building students to see how to frustrate a 5-star claim 7. Room: 2 pillows for a double bed. Not even one extra in the cupboard. TV no reception until a few hours passed by. Room painted, no wall paper. Shower water pressure low. They give only one key card. All for trainees to evaluate the savings made. 8. Upon reaching the room there were 4 plates left by previous guest by the door. When we came back from dinner at 9pm, they were still there. Called reception and they casually replied “we will send someone to clear them” unperturbed by what happened. That off the cuff reply proves training works at this Academy. In all the Mudzaffar Hotel Training Academy is highly recommended for those who are into the academics. Not for a real hotel guest with out of norm expectations of staying in a hotel for comfort and rest.

Location, good because near exit Ayer Keroh Not so good - amenities like towel, u have to request for extra even this room is for 3 pax. Other than that room is good Beds (1 single and 1 king) and pillow are comfy enough for 4 pax. Also got other amenities including breakfast for 3 pqx
