Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel. Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully. There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1. This hotel is a quick 8-minute drive from the airport and easy to find. I always choose this place when I'm in Amsterdam because it offers great value for money. The hotel environment is lovely, and they even have a retired 747 airplane in the garden! Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, with everything you could possibly want.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the city center. The hotel staff are very polite and the room is cleaned every day. It is a hotel that I highly recommend. I will definitely stay here next time👍

Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. The location is perfect, right by the Herengracht, in an old European house. It is 1.2-1.5 kilometers away from several major museums, and within 20 minutes' walk (the three-story canal and the cute little bridges every few steps and the chocolate-like little houses on the shore make the journey even shorter). The service is first-class, the breakfast is very good, the smoked salmon and ham are all made by themselves, and the taste is very good, but the room meals are hard to describe 😭; the room hygiene is also absolutely standard, there is no trace of uncleanliness on the floor, bathtub, shower room, countertop, or anywhere in the light white bathroom, and the cleaning staff are still so elusive (just like the high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo); the bathroom is a full set of large bottles of Aesop, just placed there; basically, except for the price, there is nothing wrong with it ~ I will consider staying here again next time I come to Amsterdam.

The first impression of the hotel is quite favorable: it's a modern high-rise building, check-in is very quick, the rooms are decorated in the currently fashionable ”industrial” style, and the views from the window are beautiful. However, after a while, you notice some drawbacks. First and foremost: the hotel takes a hefty 150-euro deposit upon check-in. It's understandable that the hotel is concerned about the safety of the rooms, but for that kind of money, you'd expect luxurious furnishings. What you end up with are ”basic amenities.” There are no slippers, no robes, no conditioner for washing hair, not even proper ceramic cups for hot drinks. The overall impression is that the hotel isn't a 4-star (as advertised). It's a ”good 3-star.”

Pretty building! Known as the ‘Lego hotel’ situated in Zaandam. Very near to the Zaandam station and checking in was a breeze too. Primark is also located opposite the hotel with lots of eateries nearby even halal options. And it is also two station away if you’re visiting Zaanse Schans. I would stay here again if I come back to Amsterdam.

The hotel is about 20-25 mins tram stop away from the center of AMS, and stops at most of the tourist spots. But there are many ways to get to the hotel. From the airport, there is a metro within a very short distance. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood to return to affer a bustling time in the city. Within approximately 600m-1km walk there is a nice bakery, Patisserie Du Paris, a homely breakfast place Podieum and 2 supermarkets in a residential square and a very good dinner place called Noah. Within the hotel the breakfast is a nice spread too. The triple room we had was very spacious and the room and beddings was very comfortable. Somehow there seems to be lack of communications within the operations and housekeeping team which lead to some inconvenience, during our stay but they were quickly rectified. Back of house team who always delivered our additional amenities request was always prompt and friendly. Shout out to front desk Anika and Lucas who were genuine in their service and that made our stay even more pleasant and memorable.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just across from Amsterdam Central Station, which is very convenient for getting around the city. The room was comfortable and clean, but the overall experience felt quite average for the price. The hotel was busy with many tour groups and breakfast could be quite crowded in the morning. Service was acceptable but nothing particularly memorable. It’s not a bad hotel, but I expected a bit more for the price and rating.

The hotel is an airport hotel and is convenient for a layover during transit. clean and tidy. Nothing bad - nothing special.

Stayed at W Amsterdam and honestly couldn’t fault it. Perfect location right in the middle of everything, easy to get around and ideal if you want the city on your doorstep. Rooms were clean, stylish and had that luxury feel you expect. Staff were sharp, welcoming and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Atmosphere in the hotel was top tier, especially if you like somewhere with a bit of energy. Overall a quality stay and I’d definitely be back.
