had a great 11-day stay! The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout my visit. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the Wi-Fi speed was consistently good, which was perfect for my longer stay. The location is ideal if you're looking for a quiet area slightly away from the hustle of the city. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but still very convenient—just a few meters from the Overamstel metro station, making it easy to get around.
They also have great amenities, including a lovely swimming pool and an on-site restaurant that’s both convenient and enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would happily come back again.

I got an upgrade to a deluxe room, which was very spacious with a separate living room and bedroom. It's a shame I had an early flight the next morning and couldn't properly use the hotel facilities. Remember not to go to the building furthest inside, as this one is right by the entrance!
This is a 4-star hotel, but the room didn't even have bottled water, slippers, toothbrushes, cotton pads, or any of those small amenities you might need. We had to ask for slippers, and they brought them.
The sink was clogged, but they fixed it when we asked.
Room cleaning was superficial; one time, they didn't even make the bed, just took out the trash.
All the dispensers (shampoo, soap) were nearly empty; we had to request refills. The internet in the room was poor, probably because we were on a high floor.
The canal view from the 7th floor was a pleasant surprise – it was definitely worth it.
Among the staff, Kostya was very friendly and helpful. The other ladies were less welcoming.

This hotel is perfect for a layover or an early morning flight. The shuttle service to the airport starts at 4 AM, which is very convenient! The hotel itself is quite large, and there's a painted airplane inside, which is a cool and interesting touch. In the lobby, they offer a buffet and a cafe with Western food options, plus they have their own supermarket. All the facilities in the hotel are very new!
However, the receptionist I encountered wasn't very familiar with the check-in process and charged me twice for the room, in addition to the amount already paid through Ctrip. Ctrip quickly helped to mediate and resolve the issue, and I'm currently waiting for the hotel's refund.

Brilliant hotel. We stayed here for Dekmantel festival. A short bus to the festival site. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport which was great too. Walking distance to shops to pick up food if you want to cook. Huge spacious rooms, really clean too. The highlight was the wellness centre. The pool was the perfect size, and great having the sauna and steam room. They messed up our booking on the first night but were very apologetic and offered free breakfast for the remainder of our stay.

This hotel is conveniently located right next to Amsterdam Airport, and they offer a shuttle service. It's a small, converted Sprinter van with a compact luggage rack for larger bags. However, it's quite small, so if you have a lot of luggage, especially for a family or two traveling internationally with multiple large suitcases, it might be a squeeze. The shuttle departs from the hotel every hour on the hour or every half hour, and from the airport, it usually leaves around :15 and :45. I won't go into too much detail about the hotel itself, but the breakfast was good – they even had kimchi and rice, and someone to cook eggs and omelets to order, which was a nice touch. The gym is open 24/7, and the pool and sauna are available from 7 AM to 10 PM. I didn't get a chance to use those facilities. There's also parking available for around 20 euros a night. Overall, it's a good place and I recommend it!
I stayed here for my birthday and had the most amazing time. The massage was absolutely mind-blowing and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Breakfast was great with plenty of options, and the location was perfect – there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight into the city centre, making it so easy to get around. The rooms were spotless with a beautiful view, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. It made my birthday feel really special and I would definitely stay here again
Very spacious room and clean as well. Staff are very cheerful and supportive! It has a very nice spa and 24hrs gym room with quite a completed range of machines! Really nice
Also it’s so close to the airport :)
I've been in the hotel several times.
Since I'm alone, I feel very well at the hotel.
Unfortunately, the spa area was not useful on the first day, but it made the stay not less beautiful.
The rooms are small but always super clean.
This will not be my last stay this time. 👍👍👍👍

Under Amsterdam's twinkling canals, I stumbled into Hotel Okura, weary from cobblestone wanderings. The lobby gleamed like a golden age dream—marble floors, crystal chandeliers whispering opulence. Check-in was a breeze; the concierge, with a sly wink, upgraded me to a canal-view suite.
Sinking into silk sheets, I gazed at houseboats bobbing below. Room service arrived: stroopwafels, bitterballen, and champagne fizzing like fireworks. Midnight stroll? Nah. Instead, a random jazz playlist from the spa radio lured me to the rooftop bar. Stars, Amstel lights, a stranger's flirtatious laugh. Pure magic. Woke refreshed, Amsterdam reborn. Unforgettable stay.

GGuest UserI like this shop very much. The location is good and the waiters are courteous. But the room is a bit small and two luggages can't be accommodated. The place to put towels in the toilet is not convenient. You can add more. You have to bend down to take them out every time. If The price is even better!
HHarryXZObviously, the price is expensive, which is four times higher than that in Shanghai.
It is definitely not comparable to Bulgari and J in Shanghai. Not every room has a bathtub.
So, the lower the expectations, the less disappointment. However, the hotel breakfast is a feature, and you can enjoy the local culture slowly.
I took some photos for your reference
GGuest UserThe hotel features a truly distinctive design and decor, housed in a charming, vintage-style building. It's well worth experiencing. Breakfast was quite good, and the dining area offered lovely views. It offers good value for money. Do note that getting to the train station requires walking.
GGuest UserThe hotel is unique.
Staffs was friendly and helpful. Room is clean and modern. The breakfast is super good too.
There is a Primark just opposite the hotel. Walkable to centre and surrounded by all the restaurants and supermarkets.
Definitely convenience, just a few stop to central and the airport.
We love the area and enjoyed our stay for sure.
Thank you

AAnonymous UserFor a W hotel, the experience was not as good as it is in other locations
The location is ok , but the tram passing by and the noisy bars might be noisy especially when you are on lower floors
The room is OK , nothing really special about it, and feel soulless with kitchy decorations and wall paintings
Breakfast is not bad as well
Cleaning is ok but i found a silverfish on the room… not to mention as well that some amenities are not replaced if used… unless ordered
Most of the staff were really helpful and nice , except a very rude one on the bank checkin counter that should change jobs if it’s annoying her that much
The pool , spa and lounge and gym are really amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the weather and time constraints
Overall , i would say it’s a good value for money but there are better options in Amsterdam!
