We really enjoyed our stay here. The service is top-notch. Rooms are very clean and they provide all the necessary amenities. We loved the view from our room and on a clear day, you can see the Himalayas. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff are so attentive and quick. Dinner at the restaurant was on the pricier side. We ordered a cheese pizza that tasted very bland and had to send it back. The chef added more cheese on top and reheated the pizza which made it worse. However, the waiter was very nice enough to send the pizza back again and removed it from our bill. Apart from that, we would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

Took a short trip to Kathmandu for 3 nights and stayed at Crowne Imperial. One of the best hotels in Kathmandu without a question. The staff is very professional and friendly. Rooms are clean & the view is spectacular.They have halal food & the location is an added bonus.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

i love atmosphere in this resort: fresh air, clean...and cool. we came in summer so the sky was changing drastically by hours but we are still lucky can see snow mountains on first day. On 2nd day, it s foggy cannot see anything but it s great experience to see how ocean of clouds flying in front of us. Food is ok but a bit higher than outside. Service is good, staffs are trained, they understand customer's needs and well supports

Front counter staff members are friendly, helpful and cooperative particularly Avishek (if I remember correctly his name) was fantastic and exceptional customer service. I should mention Salim who cleaned our room was very very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is big but the down size is the shower over bath. Bath tub is tiny and water does not go down to the drainage pipe caused water clogged. The breakfast items were limited and does not reflect five star standard. However the General Manger should look the breakfast menu by himself and should take appropriate action.

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

Overall it's pretty good, with a swimming pool and a rooftop bar. You don't have to go to Kathmandu's good restaurants and bars if you live here! In the off-season, you can walk in and ask the price, which is $100. It's still more cost-effective to book online. It's in the center of Thamel, close to Durbar Square, and the Dream Garden is downstairs.

The price for this stay was very good, the air conditioning in the room was also very good, and it was very close to the pagoda. The only problem was that the drinks for breakfast could be improved. Some of them tasted watery, and the milk tea was barely passable. I hope it can be improved. The only shortcoming this time was that I mistakenly ate the snacks as gifts, and ended up paying almost the price of a room more. It was quite a pity 😂

Our trip was made even better by this hotel. We were treated to a welcome drink at check-in, which created a great mood. I liked that the prices in the minibar were not exorbitant, but quite reasonable. The view from the room to the valley was simply stunning! The staff was polite and helpful, always ready to help. There are many cafes and restaurants around the hotel, so there is always a place to eat deliciously. But the best thing is the roof! There you can not only admire the views, but also enjoy the food. By the way, in the summer you can swim in the pool. The breakfast was very tasty and filling, the buffet is beyond praise. My wife and I were very pleased and will definitely come back here again.
