I booked this hotel online from the beginning, but later the price increased and there were no rooms available. Because I booked about a month in advance, the price was very cheap, and overall, it was excellent value for money.
The hotel is located in Block 6 on the shore of Phewa Lake. The Pokhara Lake area is divided into blocks, so you can take a bus directly to the designated block, and it's about a 7-minute walk to the hotel. The location is a little far from the most bustling area, but it's about a 15-minute walk from the night prayer site via side streets. The hotel rooms are large and have balconies. The hotel has a bar and an infinity pool on the rooftop, perfect for taking photos. When I went in the evening, I saw guests drinking and dancing, which was quite interesting. The hotel was built in 2021, so the facilities are new and the cleanliness is good. The hotel toiletries smelled wonderful, and the front desk service was excellent. I booked a day tour at the hotel reception for 800 Nepalese Rupees, which was slightly more expensive than booking directly, but it saved me a lot of trouble. The hotel is also not far from the bus station; you can take a bus or walk. A welcome drink was provided upon check-in.
An experience that completely exceeded my expectations!
I was speechless when I opened the curtains!
I'm sure I'd definitely come back just for this hotel.
All rooms offer views of the Himalayas, so there's no need to worry too much about room selection.
The service was excellent. Hotel staff contacted me before check-in and organized a small welcome ceremony. The servers were very attentive during meals and offered suggestions.
The room amenities were great, with a small balcony offering views of the sunrise and the golden light illuminating the Himalayas. There was also a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a hike. The room was generously stocked with welcome fruit (the local oranges were delicious).
Because it's located on a mountaintop, there aren't many restaurants nearby, but thankfully, the hotel restaurant is excellent. Breakfast starts at 7 am, just in time for the sunrise over the Himalayas. Eating outdoors felt like being in a fairyland.
There are several ways to get to the hotel: a local cab or a hotel pick-up. The hotel pick-up in a standard four-seater costs $25 USD, while a self-arranged ride costs around 2000 NPR. Another option worth trying is the cable car. The cable car station is about 300 meters from the hotel, within walking distance. A one-way trip down the mountain costs $8 USD, and Phewa Lake is not far from there. Cars are easy to hail.
However, one drawback is that after checking into the hotel, if you want to leave on foot, you'll find that the only way out is via a few sharp turns for vehicles. These are difficult to navigate and offer limited visibility, so walking requires extra caution.
This lakeside hotel in Pokhara is a true gem! Just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Phewa Lake, the manager and staff are incredibly attentive, making every moment feel like home and making our stay truly enjoyable!
Let me share some details for those considering a stay:
1️⃣ This hotel rarely has Chinese residents; it's mostly Europeans and Americans.
2️⃣ The amenities include a swimming pool. The hotel's exterior is unique and clearly thoughtfully designed, with plenty of greenery. Sitting on the balcony in front of the restaurant feels like a natural oxygen bar.
3️⃣ The waiter was quite handsome and even helped take photos.
4️⃣ The manager was incredibly professional and patient. I taught him Chinese, and he learned quickly and pronounced it with relative accuracy. It was truly amazing.
5️⃣ The restaurant's breakfast was incredibly rich and well-balanced.
I stayed at the hotel for a week, and every day was truly enjoyable. When I left Pokhara, the hotel owner personally drove me there. We had a wonderful chat along the way. Thank you to this caring hotel. If I visit Pokhara again, I'll definitely stay here.
PS: A small suggestion: I hope the bathroom could have a shower head installed, which would make showering more convenient. Best wishes for continued success!
Location is perfect.
But water pressure is unbelievable small it's gonna take you double time for shower as the water pressure is super small.
Breakfast service is also poor, they want you order coffee or drinks from them but they don't come to you at all.
All the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, there are two Chinese speakers, the location is good, you can walk to Lake Fava to row boat or walk on the lakeside commercial street, there is also a very hot net red restaurant fresh elaments near the hotel, taste good to try. The hotel is fully equipped, cleaned very clean, there is a terrace on each floor, you can see the paragliding every day on the opposite mountain top, and you can also see a little snowy mountain. The double room we booked was great, the hot water and air conditioning were very good, but the single room facilities were relatively old, the air conditioning was not hot, Hot water is not good. Breakfast is not bad, the coffee provided is very good, you can choose a lot of types, the staff will actively and enthusiastically take care of and ask, but a little bit does not feel very good, it will be recommended to play items at breakfast, it is recommended that breakfast time is not better to disturb the guests.
Staying in Dahlia Boutique Hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Pokhara. Perfectly located near Phewa Lake, the hotel offers the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility. Within minutes, you can walk to lakeside cafés, shops, and scenic viewpoints, yet the atmosphere inside remains peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms are beautifully maintained — clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with modern comforts that make you feel instantly at home. The beds are especially comfortable, and the attention to detail in the décor creates a warm boutique charm that feels both stylish and welcoming. Housekeeping is consistent and thorough, which adds to the overall sense of comfort throughout the stay.
One of the standout features is the rooftop area. The pool and terrace provide a stunning setting to unwind, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and cityscape. Watching the morning light over Pokhara from this spot is truly memorable.
What makes the experience exceptional, however, is the hospitality. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to assist — whether arranging transportation, recommending local experiences, or simply greeting guests with a warm smile. Their professionalism and friendliness create an atmosphere that feels personal rather than transactional.
Breakfast is another highlight, with a satisfying selection of fresh and flavorful options that cater to different tastes. It’s the perfect start to a day of exploring or relaxing by the lake.
Overall, Dahlia Boutique Hotel delivers comfort, charm, and heartfelt service in an unbeatable location. For anyone visiting Pokhara, it offers excellent value and a stay that feels both relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a cozy, well-located boutique experience.
The accomodation was pretty impressive,
the room service was excellent also the breakfast was abundant. It was also very convenient as they also provided us paragliding services as well
definitely recommend staying at busy bee
The hotel was ok room big enough good location the pool abit small but i was ok to stay just a few days but during Dashami puja so much people they are not enough staffs to cleaning the rooms etc. services was not satisfied also there were not enough staffs who has more experience to take care guests.
I’ve read other reviews for this hotel and am amazed it has been given 5* rating. The staff certainly are excellent, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are very basic, quite dismal, and lacking in anything of quality. Towels were stained and grey from poor laundering, sheets OK but pillowslips stained. The towel rail was fitted askew. The open shower was too close to the toilet so that, even with the curtain drawn, water escaped and I had to dry it before I could use the toilet. I had breakfast on 2 days: starts at 7am but egg station not ready until 7.15 on both mornings. Food, again, was very basic with not much choice and certainly not ‘delicious’.
Sorry, but I rate this as 3*.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThis hotel, despite being somewhat out of the way (other side of the lake and 20 minute walk up the mountain) is outstanding. The views from the room are spectacular, the staff are wonderful and the breakfast is brilliant. A perfect place to stay for a relaxing break

Ttravel-travel-travelThis resort is such a hidden gem! We were lucky enough to get a sunrise view of the mountains despite the cloudy weather. Aside from the fantastic views, the service at Raniban Retreat was 5 star - the staff were so friendly and always available to assist. The room was spacious, the food was great and the swimming pool was open (in winter!) so I could enjoy a cold plunge! We would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserLocated at the center of Lakeside road. Very traditional design but only have two towels in the room and they look a bit dirty. On the official website it’s written “free airport transfer”, we have asked the reception staff and have been told this service need additional charge. We asked the clarification of the service written on the official website but the staff said “I dun know”. The next day morning we reached to the manager, and has been told this service needs to be reserve one day in advanced and only applicable to the reservation through their official website. If we book through any other online platforms this service wont be available. Caz we extended for one more night and didn’t go through the online platforms, I thought we are eligible for the transfer. Well, this is already a middle class hotel in Pokhara but I don’t find it worth with the service. They should anyway inform the customer during check-in. Also not enough training for the front line staff. Lack of consistency.
ココーヒー好きJust 200 meters down from the Sarangkot Observation Deck, we found a beautiful and stylish room with a fluffy bed, hot water in the shower and sink, and excellent water pressure. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and we were very satisfied! It's also in a very convenient location for watching the sunrise and sunset. ◎ After dinner, as the temperature was dropping, the owner started a bonfire in the garden. It was a super moon that day, so we warmed ourselves around the fire while gazing at the big, bright moon. What a luxurious experience. The hotel appears to be run by a family, and we were touched by the smiles and homely atmosphere of the mother and the whole family. We were also touched by the beauty of the sunrise we saw from Sarangkot, making for a very satisfying stay in Pokhara.
Thank you!
CCAIFENGThe hotel's environment is good, next to Lake Fewa, when the weather is good, you can sit in the hotel's pavilion and enjoy the lake view. The hotel is near the end of the lake, close to the landing position of paraglider, a little far from the city of Pokhara, and about half an hour walk to the city, taxi is not very convenient. Hotel facilities are average, near the lake area there are many small mosquitoes at night, but each room is equipped with mosquito repellent.

GGuest UserThe property is absolutely out of pokhara and very close to nature. To reach this place is tough but once you reach it, you will enjoy it. Awesome beautiful property. Nice polite staff and ready to help always. The swimming pool is superb. Over-all very happy
