My recent stay at Oakridge Resort Lake Wanaka was overall a very positive experience, thanks to its fantastic amenities. After long days spent exploring the stunning surrounding landscapes, the hot pools were an absolute highlight. Soaking in the warm water under the stars was incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind tired muscles. This was definitely a standout feature of the resort and something I greatly appreciated.
If I were to be particularly picky, the only minor annoyance during my stay was a faint but persistent hissing sound coming from the telephone line in my room. While it wasn't overly loud, it did become a little distracting when trying to get to sleep.
Despite this small issue, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Oakridge Resort.
This was my second time staying here, and it was just as good as the first. The chalet was different from my previous stay, but the quality remained excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The experience was just as enjoyable, proving that this place is consistently reliable. Will definitely return again!
The front desk staff were very friendly, and all staff member we met inside was warm and welcoming. They explained everything clearly before we checked in. The price was very reasonable, and they even thoughtfully arranged a sea view room for our family. The room was well-equipped, and provide very nice breakfast . We were very satisfied with our stay!
High recommended .👍👍👍👍👍
I have been eyeing this resort for a long time and finally had the chance to visit. A resort of about 3,000 acres, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with pleasant scenery and Japanese and Western-style architecture. There are large golf courses, which are worth visiting if you want to relax. It would be great if there is Chinese food service.

Make yourself at home in one of the 3 guestrooms featuring DVD players. Your pillowtop bed comes with down comforters and Egyptian cotton sheets. Rooms have private furnished balconies or patios. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms have designer toiletries and hair dryers.
The room was quite spacious with a stunning view. Breakfast at the restaurant was just okay, but lunch and dinner were excellent and really hit the spot. Transportation is actually very convenient, with both land and water buses available to get around.
The hotel's facilities and environment are very good. The only thing that makes me angry is that when we checked in, the waiter asked us where we were from. The answer was China. The service attitude suddenly became bad, the smile disappeared, and the room we were given was in the corner with obstructed view.
The hotel is well maintained and the reception was very helpful with our situation due to flight cancellation. Especially Silvester from the restaurant, he was very kind to accommodate our needs.
We had a pleasant experience and would like to stay again next time.
It's a very nice hotel with a friendly owner, large rooms, complete facilities, clean and sanitary, good location, convenient parking and cheap price. I highly recommend it to everyone.

::))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

GGuest UserVery good, worth recommending. The hotel is also very new, with good facilities. You can cook your own food. It is a hotel worth recommending. . . . . .

AAleleleleWe stayed in Queenstown for three days during our honeymoon. I felt rested. The view was beautiful when I opened the curtains. I experienced unprecedented service. When I was having dinner, I mentioned to the butler that I had fallen and needed to go to the hospital. The manager called me in the afternoon to ask if I needed any help. The dinner menu didn't change much during the three days. It would be better if they could change it every day and give me a tasting menu. On the second night, I was surprised to find that the waiter in the restaurant was a mixed race of Chinese and Western.
GGuest UserI don't know why other people have low scores, the environment and sanitation are OK, the cabin is in the jungle, there is no light pollution at night, the stars are very beautiful, and the price is much higher than the kiwicamp self-service camp we live in every day. Usually powered site is NZD40-80, the hotel backpacker also needs NZD20-40 per person, this price is very good. The wine at the gas station and the store is very low price, and the South Island is not lower than 3.1 per liter.
