The toilet is very old and had no water pressure. The food in their restaurant is expensive and not very abundant. The decorative figures are too much, too many wooden animals statues, but okay, it’s 15 minutes away from the airport and we only stayed a night. The staff is very kind.

Wonderful hotel!!! The service, cleanliness, food, and activities were all top-notch! The hotel offers lovely complimentary touches like free lemon tea in the fridge, a bag, a scarf, and local coffee. In the evenings, they bring pastries to your room. The coconut balls are absolutely amazing! During the day, there are free snacks and refreshing drinks. There's also a happy hour – buy one cocktail, get one free. We experienced the dinner buffet, which was excellent! You can even try their famous suckling pig. Breakfast offers something for every taste! There's also a restaurant on the second floor with incredibly large and delicious dishes. The hotel's massage service was also great; you can choose between a 1-hour or 1.5-hour session. They offer free bicycles and boats. Definitely take a boat ride; you might spot sea urchins, starfish, and small fish. You can use the bikes to explore the town. The gym is excellent, with everything you need, plus air conditioning, towels, and water! The pool is clean, and the water temperature is very comfortable. Archery is also free. Swimming from the shore in the sea can be a bit challenging as it's very shallow, but you can take a boat out to deeper water for a swim. And the sunrises here are incredibly beautiful! If you want to visit the underground river or other attractions, you can arrange a tour and rent a car at reception. It might be more expensive than in town, but you save a lot of time. We rented a car and drove to the beach ourselves. It was an hour's scenic drive, and you're there. They even provided us with a bag of beach towels for the trip. During our 4-day stay, we never felt any discomfort; everything here is designed for guests. The staff are the most smiling and responsive! We will definitely return to this hotel chain again!!! we choose the ground floor for our rooms . chk in 4 different times and f/desk was awesome. (Would be nice to be recognizedby the name since we chk in 4 times in a span of 9 days.all our booking were online. Friendly staff and clean rooms. restaurant was great .good selection. Would love to see papaya, pineapple, mango fruits , pandasal consistently on the bufffet offering. first room114 aircon is noisy. rm 116 rm aircon is way less . Clean rooms. Patio had one chair. would be nice to have two chairs and a table for morning coffee , and pm drinks . Roof top swimming pool and bar n food was great. Chk out the 3-6 happy hours for cocktail. great selection of good drinks . spa was ok.

On the surface this hotel has all the amenities you need, a great pool, gym, billiards, close to the beach, free breakfast and airport transfer. These were definitely positives. The breakfast was sort of strange - it was a buffet with one fruit choice, rice, meat dishes (chicken yesterday, fish or duck today), bread, waffles, condiments, salad, an egg station where you get egg made to your preference and 2 cereals. The quality was good, and you could certainly be filled on the food, but it was quite random options. We didn’t mind but it wasn’t for everyone. The main issue with this place is the room. It is wonderfully spacious and comfortable, but as some others have noted, there is EXTREME dampness. To the point on our first evening we had to call housekeeping to change our sheets and mop the floor. The humidity / dampness was running down the walls, building up on the floors and surfaces, made our bags and clothes damp and created a disgusting musty smell. We presume this is not an uncommon issue despite the ‘surprise’ of reception as the room is covered in mould. The only way to really help this (help but not fix entirely) is to have the air conditioning on extremely high and very cold, which we could not do as it was not warm enough and we did not want to get sick. The pool however was very clean, billiards and table tennis were a welcome benefit, but the beach is not swimmable so bear this in mind too. An okay stay if you have a connecting flight, but definitely not a ‘resort’ quality experience.

Lime is a good time. The front desk staff is ok. The staff that really shines is on the rooftop pool. There is a waiter, whose name i regretfully can not remember, but he was the NICEST and most attentive waiter I've ever had. He said he's only been there a few months but you'd think he'd been there for years. Amazing service. The pool is amazing with beautiful views at sunset. Beautiful views all day actually. From 3-7 is happy hour and free popcorn and ice cream every day. I loved that. The pizza is delicious from Bella Vita. The beds are comfortable and the showers get hot and don't smell. Breakfast is pretty good, although I'm not a fan of the chemical tasting juices. I did have a problem with my door, front desk said they'd send someone, no one ever came. So I had to throw my body into the door to get it to close. The TV Netflix and any other service didn't work not once. The TV has very few channels but at least i could understand them. They were able to arrange my van back to PP and retrieved my bags when it was time to check out.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Zuri Resort Coron. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, relaxing, and well thought out. We stayed in a Family Room with two queen beds and bunk beds built above them, and our kids loved it — it was spacious, fun, and perfect for families. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The resort’s four pools were another major highlight, each offering amazing views of the beach and sunset, making it easy to wind down and enjoy the scenery. We were impressed by the cocktails, food, and buffet selection, which had a wide variety of options that catered to both Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Everything felt fresh and satisfying. Another thing we appreciated was how the resort provided clear details on different activities and tours available around Coron. It made planning our days simple and stress-free. Overall, Zuri Resort delivered comfort, beauty, and excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again.

This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back... It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor. Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym. Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available. A shuttle was available to and from the airport. Negatives were as follows: - Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel. - Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party. - Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given.

The hotel is situated slightly off the center, requiring a taxi to access to restaurants or bars. Room is large, unfortunately the view on the sea was obstructed by wide balcony walls, The pillows were uncomfortable. A thumb up for prompt housekeeping services. Breakfast buffet was basic. We were overall satisfied with our stay

From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Whether for business or leisure, it’s the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and Filipino hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again!

I would say that my overall rating of the hotel is a 4.5 out of 5. The hotel was well maintained, clean with friendly staff and tasty food at the restaurant and breakfast buffet. My actual room was really large, fully stocked and clean. It did not come with much of a few but it was quiet and very spacious. I could not hear my neighbors except for when they were leaving their rooms. It definitely had an industrial vibe to it, with certain imperfections to boost. But I felt like it added to the charm of the room itself. The whole hotel is designed with a unique charm. I felt like it was a safe neighborhood and plenty of security on staff 24 hours a day. The location is super convenient to the airport. I think it's nearly impossible to have a perfect hotel stay and I don't think I would ever give one a five-star rating but this one was really close especially for the price.
