A shame to pay a dec2 euro fee , make a weekend in my country and pay a fee .
The pool was not even a diving one , many people . Having weddings or baptized everything well , but they used the pool for who will relax in a way of babby for God 's sake is simply a shame

Before checking in on our last visit. We realized our flight got delayed. tried calling the hotel at around 9.15 pm, called 5 times over 20 minutes, no one would pick up the phone in the main reception !! Furious, and so we arrived at 1am without being able to inform them that we were gonna be late.
Upon arrival, as I had booked 2 rooms, I asked the only person who was on shift that night to make sure putting my parents into the booked standard double room and my family with a child into the other bigger room (Junior King Suite) . He affirmed me that the room distribution was correct so we just left our parents to go to their room and take rest since it was late.
When we arrived at our room, it was definitely a small room that would only fit a couple without being able to add an extra bed. Called the reception, no ones answered again!! So had to went back down to speak to that staff at 1.30am.
He insisted, the room I was put into, was the Junior King Suite !!!! I was so angry because that room didnt looked like it was over 500sq ft as it was described when I booked. But the staff said to us that the info in trip.com was incorrect and more over, the information he received didnt mentioned that we had a child with us.
Angry and exhausted, and I was even gonna compromised to stay in that room and sleep. we just went back to take a shower, then the guy came , talked to my husband and would offer us a bigger room after all the drama. it was close to 2am!!! We got offered to stay in a family room so my daughter got to sleep on a sofa bed but the guy who made the bed didnt even give her a blanket.
Next day, texted my parents and asked them to show us a picture of their room, we realized the guy mistakenly putting my parents into the bigger room and so we were the one who got allocated into the standard double room!!
Unprofessional service from the top to the bottom!! we eventually felt bad to that staff because in the middle of the night, he was the only person who moved luggages, opening beds etc...
Good choice if you wanna stay closer to the airport. Shuttle service every 30th d. Rooms are well designed with enough space and are functional. The pool is small but good the staff friendly.
Very good hotel, but you had to ask for a toothbrush when normally hotels provide them without being asked. Be careful, the hotel records your credit card and will still charge you 3€ without your consent + the tourist tax, while in other 5 star hotels they don't do this.
The hotel is brand new, you feel it directly in everything you see or use. The staff is very friendly and smiling, apart from that it is definitely in an ideal location for touristic places to visit in Porto. It is difficult to find parking in the center of Porto but it is not a problem here, there is a very spacious and large underground parking lot. Our accommodation is 10 out of 10, we definitely recommend it.
We arrived in Lisbon around 9 PM, and the taxi could only drop us off on another main street, requiring a short walk up an incline to reach the hotel. The same applied when we left early in the morning. Perhaps some roads are blocked at night by those retractable bollards. The hotel's decor style is quite dark, with black carpets and such. Our room's window opened up to a very high wall, which felt quite oppressive. The room was small and didn't have a coffee maker; they provided Nescafé instant coffee, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the water pressure from the sink faucet was quite low. The hotel breakfast, however, was fantastic! I had so many salmon slices, and the restaurant staff were incredibly professional, making it feel like dining in a Michelin-starred restaurant. When we left the hotel at 6:30 AM, they had prepared two large takeaway breakfast bags for us, filled with sandwiches, pastries, two small custard tarts, a bottle of water, a bottle of juice, an apple, and even made two hot cappuccinos for us to take on the go. We were truly delighted!
Located on the top of a mountain, overlooking the town and the coastline, the scenery is pleasant; the service is attentive and friendly, and they do things meticulously; but there is no drinking water, so you need to bring your own! The food was also excellent.

I came to this hotel on my own. I wish I’d brought my partner with me.
It’s a very unusual lodging place. Living in a big wooden box for three nights was a bit peculiar. I did miss having a bedroom window, but the view from the top floor room where the excellent breakfast was served was nice. A sauna and outdoor pools were free (I didn’t try them, but they looked fun), as was an extra bed for any couple to try (some did) that had picture windows so anyone could watch from the lobby or lounge.
I would return, if I ever bring my spouse to Porto.

GGuest UserWe were given a nice, clean room on an upper floor with a pretty view. The bathroom was on the right through a sliding door when you entered the room. It was spacious with a shower and a bathtub. Good breakfast! The roasted tomatoes were superb and it should be a dish available every morning at the buffet.

One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.

RRomstarJust far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport.
We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!!
The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it.
Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room.
I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend
JJaniceThe location is very centralised, making it extremely convenient to walk to the nearby attractions. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely, and everything else about the room was just about perfect too. Super well upkept, maybe cos it’s relatively new too but the bathroom was very clean with zero mold spots. Water pressure was strong while the wifi and aircon / heater worked well. The only con was that the basin seemed a little choked with the water going down pretty slowly, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

I recommend with your eyes closed for lovers of exclusive places.
