It was the fourth time I was in this hotel, and every experience was great. The exilbris of this hotel is without doubt the spa. For days of relaxation, rest, out of routine and stress and renewing energy, you will have great days.
A good staff, good facilities, excellent bed and divine breakfast
Great facilities. We went with half board. And it doesn't pay off. After knowing the prices, we would have paid less for dinner if we paid on the day.
We went on the weekend and the hotel was full. It's a large hotel and we didn't like the experience from that point of view.
The objective is to relax and have a different experience, but we ended up having to wait to enter the Turkish bath, sauna and swimming pools, which became unfeasible, as they looked like municipal swimming pools.
full of people. About the staff, the girls at the restaurant and at breakfast (who are the same) are very helpful and friendly. The same can no longer be said for the reception staff. Little willingness to help with such simple things, such as lending a mere phone charger, easily resolved by the dining room staff.
In short, it is a hotel with conditions, but I find it very confusing when it is full, something that I believe is common at the weekend.
Located on the top of a mountain, overlooking the town and the coastline, the scenery is pleasant; the service is attentive and friendly, and they do things meticulously; but there is no drinking water, so you need to bring your own! The food was also excellent.
Hotel is nice. Clean and spacious room. Comfy beds
Absolutely worth the price.
Location may not be near the touristic places but ain't a far drive with Uber.
A supermarket just beside the hotel is terrific. greeted us with a complimentary champagne at their top floor lounge with a scenic view of Porto.
You might have read this in other reviews and it's true. The hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars. The rooms were pretty small and the Spa (also Spa cap) is not included. I found the hotel breakfast quite good and it had great fresh fruits. The shower and toilet is clean, but small. The matress is hard and high-quality. The money for value ratio is okay, but not great. I liked that its possible to walk to Porto within 20min.
Very good hotel, but you had to ask for a toothbrush when normally hotels provide them without being asked. Be careful, the hotel records your credit card and will still charge you 3€ without your consent + the tourist tax, while in other 5 star hotels they don't do this.
Hotel that we recommend. We have come several times now. We always take advantage of the indoor swimming pool which has a thalasso system (jet, whirlpool, etc.)
The breakfast is plentiful 👍
Nice evening buffet
Family hotel with games and outdoor swimming pool, the seaside is behind the fence, no car needed!
Pleasant staff 👍
I am very satisfied with the hotel I stayed in this time! The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and a very comfortable stay. The hotel is very close to the airport and the transportation is very convenient, which is a blessing for passengers who need to catch an early flight. What's more surprising is that the hotel also provides free airport drop-off service. The driver is friendly, punctual and efficient, which saves a lot of trouble. The overall experience is great and the price-performance ratio is very high. I will choose this place next time! Highly recommended to friends who need to catch a flight!
The breakfast was plentiful, the hotel environment was nice, and parking was convenient.

Great
SSoheil MalekiI would have loved to have given this place 5/5 stars for everything but as soon as we arrived, the noise from outside was very loud, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they said they ”fixed the door” as it was a very large patio door but the sound was still as if we were camping outside. I managed to live with this but the rooms television was also boy possible to connect any outside devices and the Netflix just wouldn't launch which we were told it is what it is with the TV. The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that you have to pay to use the swimming pool that they so elegantly advertise in their photos. As an extremely regular traveller, this was an absolute first for me and really didn't make any sense to me. Otherwise the place was clean, and looked very nice. Parking was 20 euros per night which was actually more expensive than hiring the car but I guess they charge for location.
GGuest UserWe were given a nice, clean room on an upper floor with a pretty view. The bathroom was on the right through a sliding door when you entered the room. It was spacious with a shower and a bathtub. Good breakfast! The roasted tomatoes were superb and it should be a dish available every morning at the buffet.

RRomstarJust far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport.
We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!!
The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it.
Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room.
I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend
SShizibabadiPerhaps it's because the Portuguese are more welcoming, but the service felt a step up from Spain. The room was quite large, but the bathroom had poor ventilation and an unpleasant odor. The view from the hotel entrance was fantastic, but most of the rooms had obstructed views.
GGuest UserWe booked this hotel which is not close to the city centre to be able to have a pool to relax after a day visiting Porto. Uber was very affordable if you are in a group, if not, there is an easy bus service to reach the city. There are some options for an evening meal+ supermarket in the area but nothing extraordinary. Dinner in the hotel looked good but we didn't have dinner only breakfast which was good. Room was big and nice, common areas were really lovely. Biggest moan/warning/suggestion for improvement would be: the lifts took for ever (15 floors all in all) lots of queues forming. The wet areas could be so much better. The outdoor pool was overcrowded all the time and had very limited loungers that people took/reserved from 9am, so people even had to sit on the floor. With nowhere to put myself, I went to check the indoor pool. A much nicer space but again nowhere to relax, no loungers or chairs.
