We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

First off, mainland Chinese tourists need to adjust their expectations. On an island like this, amenities and infrastructure are naturally not as comprehensive, so some inconveniences are to be expected. Now, regarding the room: it was very clean, and the view from the balcony was excellent. There was plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was inconsistent, fluctuating between strong and weak. However, this is quite normal, and the hot water was very hot, perfect for washing hair and showering. The town only has one main road, and the hotel is right by it, making getting around very convenient. The town center is just a five-minute walk away. Next to the hotel is a park, and the bubble ice on its lake is even more beautiful than Lake Baikal's. I recommend bringing a thermos of hot water to take photos there. Breakfast was plentiful. I stayed in a room on the third floor of a small building, and I suggest booking a similar room type. These rooms are closer to the hot water facilities, so the toilet flush and hot water supply are more consistent. The front desk is often unstaffed, but if you add the owner on WeChat, they will respond – I recommend doing so. The owner's cat is very friendly and loves being petted. I brought cat food and treats, and it really enjoyed them.

Spa可以體驗下，按摩師很專業。 6. 酒店前台小姐姐會幫忙叫車。 不好的： 1. 早餐種類一般，沒有熱飲，要熱牛奶需要單獨付錢，咖啡只有美式和Espresso兩種，很窒息。 2. 太吵了，太吵了，非常非常吵，隔壁房間説話聽得一清二楚，早上會被隔壁鬧鐘吵醒，木質走廊有人路過時感覺整個房子都在咚咚咚，基本上得不到有質量的休息。不過這應該是小木屋的通病。 整體上如果預算千元以內這家店還是能接受的，性價比還行。

One of the best hotels in Irkutsk. The front desk has been helping me get a taxi. I am really grateful. Opposite the hotel is a commercial complex, which is very convenient for eating, shopping and shopping. A few steps ahead is 138 Style Street, and a few more steps is Karl Marx Street. The scenery is great on the way back to the hotel from the Marx area. But I don't think I saw the caviar breakfast mentioned in the comments 😂

Wonderful, cozy, family-run hotel

The room is clean and warm. The front desk service attitude is very good and they can communicate in English. This is great! The hotel is a few kilometers away from the village, with Lake Baikal outside. Staying in this hotel in the cold wind of Siberia is very warm and cost-effective!

The room is good, the health is also very good, on Lenin Street, it is very convenient to go to the river, or go shopping, the door face is really small, but the conditions are still leveraged.

Drinking water is not given in the room, tea is only green or carcade (red)without sugar.. Black tea was not available, slippers and toothbrushes were brought sometimes, we stopped for 12 days, breakfast was expensive, insulation in the room was terrible, neighbors heard, even if anyone was chewing.. And we were forced to pay 5,000 rubles for allegedly from our room in the shower water flowed into the room on the floor below, but then the price decreased and we paid 2,500 rubles, ,
