MModouyudexumaThe room was spacious and bright, and the hygiene was clean and tidy. The staff had a great service attitude, and the surrounding environment was excellent, especially the small lake nearby, which added to the beautiful scenery. The only slight drawback was that breakfast was not included.
ZzzangkoThe hotel's shuttle service for pickup from O'Hare Airport Zone 2E and drop-off at International Zone 5 was excellent. It was also great that we could enjoy the complimentary hotel breakfast and evening social hour. We made good use of the nearby Blue Line Rosemont CTA station with a 1-day Ventra Pass to explore Chicago in winter. I'd like to thank the front desk lady for her friendly assistance with check-in. The deposit was also refunded within two days. However, as we visited in early February, the room was very dry, so it would be advisable to bring a portable humidifier.
IIcelaoshiThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the city center attractions 👍.
The bathroom has shampoo, shower gel, etc., and the body lotion smells quite nice. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
There's no free drinking water 💦; it costs $3 per bottle. If you're a Hilton Diamond 💎, Gold, or Silver member, you get two free bottles daily 🆓, but unfortunately, I'm just a regular Hilton member.
It was a bit noisy at night 🌃, and I felt the window soundproofing wasn't very good.
二二黃* Location: Great location in downtown Chicago and close to the Board of Trade building and the public transportation
* Room: The room was spacious, but there’s no openable window that faces outside. The cleanliness is okay. Even though I found some lint in the bathtub.
* Extra fee: Also, note the $30 nightly destination fee, which may not be clearly advertised.
BBaifaxingFor those attending conferences at the Chicago Convention Center, the hotel's location and environment are ideal (directly connected to the convention center), and it's also close to Chicago's Chinatown (a 15-minute walk). The hotel's breakfast is also good. However, the water temperature control in the shower in my room was very unreasonable, and even after calling a maintenance worker, the problem remained unresolved. Not being able to take a hot shower before the conference left me feeling listless all day, and I received no compensation from the front desk.
GGuest UserThis place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel.
AAnonymous UserGood value for the price. I booked a King Bed suite and was happy with the stay. The hotel has a swimming pool and breakfast included. It’s a good option for families who need a place to stay near the airport for one night.
ZZhaopengyongThe hotel is very clean and quiet (this is rare), the guests are mostly white, polite and light. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, the few can be full, it is rare to have a good 24-hour coffee, it is still very pleasant to have a cup at any time.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Crowne plaza one night only but we loved it! We had brekkie included and it was definetely a plus when you travel with kids. It is conveniently located near the airport and there is a bus stop across the road that takes you for free to the nearest train station! Absolutely recommended.
GGuest UserOverall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I really liked the filtered water station on our floor. It had several options and was very convenient.
Guest services were excellent. Anytime we made a request, they handled it quickly and professionally. After the first night, housekeeping took our towels but didn’t replace them, so we had to call and ask for more. Thankfully, after that, we didn’t have any other towel issues.
Housekeeping overall was a bit different than what I’m used to. They made the beds and handled the bathroom by emptying the trash, picking up dirty towels, and refilling tissues, but they didn’t take out the trash in the main room. Since we had a lot of takeout, that trash piled up pretty quickly. They also didn’t replenish items like used tea bags or glassware, which would’ve been helpful.
We also had an issue with the fridge. It stayed warm for the first few days until we realized it hadn’t been turned on. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but it would’ve been nice if it had been checked before we arrived.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, which added to the overall experience. Despite the few small issues, the staff was friendly and responsive, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I would absolutely book with them again!
