Environment: A very comfortable hotel.
Service: The service attitude of the staff is very good, everyone greets you with a smile, and you can communicate with them even if you speak Chinese.
Hygiene: Very clean and tidy, inside and outside, no dust.
Facilities: All the necessary functions are available, including a swimming pool and fitness equipment.
Anyway, I will continue to stay here next time I come on a business trip.
I'd contacted the hotel 2 days previously to request an early check in as was arriving at 4.30am & it was granted. When I arrived there was nobody at reception despite me messaging to ask to be checked in. I was sitting in reception for 2 hours before someone appeared. I asked to check in & was told my room wouldn't be ready until after 12:00pm. I asked what I'm supposed to do & it was suggested I go on one of the trips the hotel arranges. After a 10 hour bus journey & 2 hour sit in reception I was completely exhausted & just wanted to sleep. I asked if there was another room I could go to & after waiting another 20 minutes they put me in one. After contacting Trip.com to confirm I'd get the room I paid for, I was finally transferred to it. However, I booked a mountain view room & I do think the description is slightly misleading as to view the mountain you have to go outside your room onto the shared decking where guests are walking to & from to get to their rooms. This accommodation is more like individual dorm rooms. Cleaners didn't make the bed for the 4 nights I was there but did give the table a wipe. Breakfast was basic & edible. The location is about 20 mins into the town area, that's the main positive. I loved Tam Coc & if I were to visit again unfortunately I wouldn't stay here.
This is a really nice Hotel for a couple off Days relaxing.. Beautiful pool that you can swim in . and a very good buffet. Catering mainly to Asian tastes but plenty of choice for everyone . Easily walk down town . Not much to see ..
The reception was very kind, even helping to fix our mistake in booking. The location was great as Vincom was next door and there was a Winmart. Breakfast was plentiful and the rooms were large.
We recently stayed at the Emeralda Tam Coc Resort in the heart of the town, Tam Coc. We had a premium deluxe room which was beautiful, quiet, spacious and comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
There are two pools, one we believed to be for adults, and one for children but this was not enforced, so could be challenging to relax by the pool at the end of a day.
Breakfast we found to be quite basic, but ok.
Overall the hotel has lovely views and is in a great location for the town.
Where Hospitality Still Means Something.
From the moment we arrived, this hotel got it right. A warm welcome, fast check-in, and staff who actually help with your bags — a rare combo these days. To top it off, we got a free upgrade! Our room came with a bathtub, a nice exterior view, and a little extra space — always a win in my book.
After long days of tours and wandering around, the peaceful nights were a blessing. And that rooftop pool? A quiet little oasis — perfect for cooling off, pretending you’re in a luxury resort, and questioning every life decision that led you to deserve such comfort. Overall, the stay was a delight.
The only small downside would be its location, which is a bit away from the city center — but nothing a quick Grab ride can’t fix. They also rent motorbikes (we just wish they’d mentioned it earlier 😂).
We left with smiles and even a small farewell gift — classy touch. I’d absolutely come back, ideally on purpose next time.

This hotel is quietly located just outside the city center. Bicycles are available for 50,000 VND per day. Our room with a bathtub on the terrace had a great view. The mattress and shower were good. Breakfast was varied.
However, the walls are very thin, so you can hear people talking and showering in the adjacent rooms.
The room was spacious and bright, and the environment was clean and tidy, a welcome escape from the chaotic hostels of Hanoi. It felt like I'd returned to civilization. A special shout-out to Ms. 'Ai' at the front desk; true to her name, she showered me with love, even kindly boiling hot water for me. Thank you so much for your warm and thoughtful service!

Very Good
GGuest UserBest hotel we stayed in Vietnam. Gorgeous room, amazingly helpful staff and a view that rivals none. Could not have asked for more. Thank you for making our stay in Tam Coc memorable!!
MMcSpicyI had a wonderful stay at this family owned homestay and it truly felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
The location might be slightly difficult to find at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting the area, but it’s actually very convenient. There are many businesses that open past midnight: food options, convenience stores, shopping spots, massage places, laundry services, and drinking places nearby.
One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were when I asked for milk during breakfast. Even though they did not have regular milk available, they still made the effort to find an alternative and served me soy milk instead. I was genuinely happy with that gesture because it showed how much they cared about catering to their guests’ needs and making them feel at home.
The breakfasts were one of the highlights of my stay. They served a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish one morning, and honestly, it was the best one I had during my entire stay in Vietnam. It tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, which made the experience even more special.
Because it is a new establishment, the rooms look and felt much better in person than in the pictures online. Everything was clean, cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Another great feature was that they provided electric-powered bicycles, which made it very convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The genuine hospitality from the family, the delicious homemade breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, and the thoughtful amenities made this a truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.
Edit: super love the rocking chairs by the pool
CChang987654321If you have a lot of luggage or it's your first time here, you might find it a bit inconvenient. The surrounding area isn't very well-lit at night, so it's a bit dark, and you should be a little careful when returning.
However, the upside is that there's an entire street nearby filled with food stalls and plenty of snack options, making it super easy to grab a bite. You don't have to walk far to sort out all your meals, which is a big plus for anyone who loves local street food.
Overall, if convenience for food is a priority and you don't rely heavily on public transport, you could consider it. But if you depend a lot on the MRT or prefer a bright and lively environment at night, you might want to reconsider. That said, the overall value for money is good.
SSerene Methias3~4 May 2026 - 4 Pax 1N Narci Resort Tam Coc. Hotel Manager Jenny sent me a WhatsApp message on 2nd May to welcome us and offered her assistance to arrange for private transport & local tour etc.. Am pleased with the extended service provided by the hotel staff. Since I've yet to find a private driver, she helped to arrange for 2-way transport, pick-up from Hanoi hotel > Narci Resort > Hanoi International Airport (reasonable fees). We arrived at Tam Coc around 1pm, dropped the luggage at the hotel & visited Bai Dinh Pagoda. Checked-in the hotel around 9pm. A modern & beautiful resort opened Feb 2026. To our surprise, our 3x Deluxe Garden Rooms were in different villas & all on level 2 without elevator. My mom age 80 were unhappy as she couldn't climb the stairs & my sisters age 60 & 67 were unhappy that we were separated by different villas. Fortunately, there are 2x Executive Garden Rooms on the ground floor were available but one of the room has smell. So, we decided to pay additional fee for upgrade of 1x Deluxe > 1x Executive + 1x FOC extra bed (3 pax), the other sister stayed the level 2 Deluxe Room. Hotel breakfast spread is good & food is delicious. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel rooms & staff service. Would suggest the hotel to state there is no elevator for Deluxe Garden Room (level 2), so that guests who are unable to climb the stairs will select either the ground floor Executive Garden Room or the Tower Standard Rooms with elevator.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Vũ’s Homestay in Tam Coc. The room was beautiful, very clean, and incredibly spacious, which made it really comfortable to relax after a day exploring the area. The facilities were great and everything was well maintained.
The location was also perfect—close to everything in Tam Coc but still peaceful and quiet. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always happy to offer advice and make sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend Vũ’s Homestay to anyone visiting Tam Coc.
LLouieJayThe room I stayed in was good, clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, being close to Bai Dinh Temple and the Trang An river tour, which made exploring very convenient. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing away from busy areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, always happy to help. There was also a very cute dog on-site, which added a lovely, homely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay that I would recommend.

VVitkaI was looking for an authentic and quiet place and didn't miss.
The hostess is very welcoming nice girl and always ready to help. Thank you very much for your care. The lake house is just beautiful. It feels how thoughtful the details are in the interior, everywhere perfect cleanliness and very pleasant smell. Everything is done with the soul. The view from the window is delightful to the city man. Bicycles are free of charge. Breakfast is delicious.
Next to Hang Mua is located, you can get a bike in 5 minutes, it is better to go there in the morning hours. To the rest of the sights too nearby. You can just ride the rice fields. I would recommend to get to the bird park, to the territory are allowed on bikes, and it makes a walk very comfortable.
If I had returned to Tam Coc, it would have been to Tuyet's homestay, so this place had conquered me. Going with love in the heart
