HEAVEN ON EARTH! 🌿⛰️✨ This place feels like something straight out of a dream! Surrounded by the majestic limestone mountains that Ninh Binh is famous for, this hotel is the perfect little escape if you’re looking for peace, nature, and a chance to slow down. I only stayed for one night, and honestly, I already wish I had booked more! Here’s why I loved it: 📍 Location & Atmosphere The scenery is absolutely magical. The hotel is surrounded by towering limestone mountains and lush greenery, creating such a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve escaped into another world. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and simply enjoy being present. However, keep in mind that the location is a little secluded. The nearest restaurants are about a 5–8-minute motorbike ride away, so I’d recommend having a meal before checking in or planning your meals ahead of time. Personally, this wasn’t an issue for me because I came to Ninh Binh to explore Trang An Ecotourism and, more importantly, to enjoy some peace and quiet at the hotel. And this place delivered exactly what I was looking for! One little suggestion for the hotel, though: it would be amazing if you could sell some instant food, such as cup noodles, instant porridge, or simple snacks. Since the hotel is a little secluded, having these options available would be super convenient for guests who get hungry at night or just want a quick meal without having to leave the property. I think this small addition would make the experience even better! Honestly, just imagine spending your afternoon lounging by the pool, surrounded by those incredible mountains, with nothing urgent to do and nowhere else you need to be. That’s the kind of peace this place offers. 🌿 🛏️ Room & Cleanliness Overall, the room was comfortable and had all the essentials I needed. Some areas were a little dusty, but it didn’t bother me much or affect my overall experience. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities they provided, including a bathrobe for swimming and even a comb. These little details made the stay more convenient and comfortable. 🫶 Service & Hospitality I was welcomed by NauDen (if I remember his name correctly), a gentleman with glasses who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He even recommended some local places to have dinner, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was also great! I especially loved that they included Vietnamese dishes, giving me the chance to enjoy local cuisine in the morning rather than just having a standard Western-style breakfast. The combination of friendly service and delicious food made the experience even better. 💰 Value for Money ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! ❤️ For me, this place is more than just a hotel. It’s an experience. You’re paying for the beautiful natural surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere, and the opportunity to disconnect from the usual busyness of life. Of course, the secluded location means you’ll need to plan your meals and transportation a little more carefully. I came to Ninh Binh for the landscapes and Trang An, but this hotel became one of the highlights of my trip. I booked Tam Coc Center Luxury Hotel & Villa at the last minute and was happy that they confirmed my reservation so quickly. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the boat station for the Tam Coc tours, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Although the hotel is close to the main road, the interior area itself was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is also 15-20mins drive to Trang An. It rained heavily during my stay and several roads around Tam Coc were flooded. Thankfully, the road directly in front of the hotel remained clear, which made pick-ups and drop-offs much easier. I saw other hotels with flooded access roads, so I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting during rainy weather. There is also a cosy bar and coffee shop inside the hotel that serves until 10 pm. The seating area was comfortable and especially convenient on nights when the rain was too heavy to go out. The reception and housekeeping staff, as well as the man serving at the bar in the evenings, were all very polite, friendly, and helpful. They also spoke great English. However, I had a different experience with some of the breakfast staff. I noticed that they seemed friendly and more attentive toward Western guests but mostly just stared at me. I am Asian and could possibly be mistaken for Vietnamese, so I did not expect to feel treated differently. I hope this was only an isolated experience. The room was clean, the TV worked properly, and the air-conditioning was great. All the usual toiletries were provided, along with a hair dryer, bathrobe, and even umbrellas guests could use. There were two other things I really disliked about my room. It was located along a brightly lit corridor, and even with the blinds closed, a lot of light still seeped into the room. If you have difficulty sleeping in a bright room, I would suggest requesting a room away from the corridor. The slippers provided were also extremely uncomfortable and actually painful to wear. The hotel should really replace them with something softer and more practical. Despite these issues, the convenient location, clean room, quiet atmosphere, and easy access during heavy rain made it a good place to stay in Tam Coc.

The resort is relatively new and beautifully nestled amongst the limestone mountains. Waking up to the sight of the peaks surrounding my balcony, even from the bathroom, was something special. The peaceful morning mist and the gentle sound of rain during an afternoon shower felt like stepping into one of those therapeutic spa soundtracks, except this was real. Some may find the resort a little removed from the main street, but that's precisely its greatest strength. The absolute tranquillity is worth every extra minute of the journey. There are no honking scooters, no crowds, just nature and stillness. My room was enormous, thoughtfully designed, and had everything I needed. One detail immediately caught my attention: there wasn't a television. To my pleasant surprise, the entire resort has deliberately chosen not to install TVs. When I checked out, the manager shared that this was a conscious decision to encourage guests to disconnect from the constant noise of everyday life and truly unwind. As someone who rarely turns on hotel TVs anyway, I absolutely loved this philosophy. The service deserves special mention. Every staff member I met was genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to help. While not everyone spoke fluent English, it never became a barrier. In fact, it added to the authentic charm of the place. The team was resourceful and thoughtful. On one occasion, I had accidentally left my ”Do Not Disturb” sign on while I was out exploring. Instead of simply leaving the room untouched, they reached out to me via WhatsApp to check whether I would still like housekeeping. It's such a simple idea, but it reflects how much they care about guest comfort. Bliss Tam Coc Resort isn't about luxury through extravagance. It's about thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and creating a peaceful space where you can disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. I left feeling refreshed, rested, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly recommended.

A great place when you do not want to be in the chaotic tourist area. It has a beautiful view, a swimming pool (warm water though), free bicycles (15 min to Bich Dong Pagoda) and because there is no late evening food places around we just ordered Grab food 😂. Always on airco which is great for clothes drying and breakfast had this perfect Pho and many other options.

I had a wonderful stay at this family owned homestay and it truly felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The location might be slightly difficult to find at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting the area, but it’s actually very convenient. There are many businesses that open past midnight: food options, convenience stores, shopping spots, massage places, laundry services, and drinking places nearby. One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were when I asked for milk during breakfast. Even though they did not have regular milk available, they still made the effort to find an alternative and served me soy milk instead. I was genuinely happy with that gesture because it showed how much they cared about catering to their guests’ needs and making them feel at home. The breakfasts were one of the highlights of my stay. They served a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish one morning, and honestly, it was the best one I had during my entire stay in Vietnam. It tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, which made the experience even more special. Because it is a new establishment, the rooms look and felt much better in person than in the pictures online. Everything was clean, cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Another great feature was that they provided electric-powered bicycles, which made it very convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The genuine hospitality from the family, the delicious homemade breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, and the thoughtful amenities made this a truly memorable experience. **A Hidden Paradise in Ninh Bình** I honestly didn't expect to find something this peaceful. Tucked between towering limestone mountains and a quiet river, this resort feels like a true 世外桃源 — a world away from everything. The pool is one of the most beautiful I've seen: spotless, calm, and perfectly framed by palm trees and thatched-roof bungalows. Every morning I'd sit by the water with the mountains rising just behind the rooftops, and it genuinely felt like the outside world had disappeared. What made the stay truly special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and constantly going out of their way to make guests comfortable — from a relaxing complimentary foot soak by the river to little touches like fresh tea and local snacks served in traditional bowls on the bamboo table. Nothing felt rushed or transactional; every interaction felt genuine and kind. The surrounding scenery is stunning — bamboo groves, a floating pavilion over the water, and mountains wrapped in mist most mornings. Sitting there with tea and watching the light change over the hills was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip. Rooms are simple but comfortable, blending naturally into the landscape with earthy tones and thatched roofs that suit the setting perfectly. It's the kind of place where you slow down without even trying. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with genuine hospitality, clean facilities, and gorgeous natural surroundings, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a rare find — truly a paradise hidden among the mountains and water.

Underrated location, right next to an amazing restaurant, I was upgraded when the staff saw how tired I was from travelling and they were so lovely. Great location away from noice but still so close that you’re only a 5 minute walk from the main road. The food pic is from the restraint next door

We stayed one night at this lovely homestay in Hoa Lu, near Ninh Binh, and it was perfect. The owners are so kind and caring — they don’t speak much English, but they make you feel welcome with their hearts. It was the best experience we’ve had in Vietnam. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a view of the garden and pool. The food was amazing — we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even coffee in the afternoon, and everything was delicious. We also rented a motorbike from the homestay, which was very easy. I really recommend this place if you want peace, good food, and lovely people.

Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat, from our experience, can only equate to an oasis of calm, beauty and tranquillity. The grounds are lush and abundant with surprises at every turn. The staff are exceptional, but that is understating their level of service and commitment. They are like Family and become friends in short time. Chi, the manager, goes far above and beyond any level we have experienced in our many travels. Nothing is a problem and solutions are simple, including locating a lost bag in Saigon. The team who Chi guides throughout the day, are friendly, sociable and genuine and they cannot go far enough . They anticipate any need or want before you realise and create moments and memories that you can only wish would happen in other establishments. Chi, Hunee and Tony, along with other staff whose names we sadly did not get, are the soul and heart of Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat. Being in their presence enhanced the experience. They are a total credit to their employer and business. The Retreat is set back off a main road, down an alley full of laughing children and families. You feel completely detached from the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc town or Hoa Loa Old Town, which are must visits. There is a wonderful pool, suitable for families, an 8 ball table, karaoke, bikes and the most incredible breakfast and coffee. We travel extensively and felt a sincere and genuine personal experience that made us feel truly cared for. We cannot recommend choosing Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat highly enough.

Beyond my expectations, guys. You should really try it. I've stayed at high-end hotels in Japan before, and this isn't much different. The staff are friendly, and the manager is thoughtful, enthusiastic, and professional. I hadn't even had a chance to eat the fruit yet, and when I came back from my outing, the housekeeper had already replaced it with a fresh plate! :) It's clean, and breakfast is delicious. The room I stayed in faced a busy road, so it was a bit noisy. Other than that, it's a perfect 10.
