First time in Dunhuang, the food is delicious and the service is very good
Good taste, elegant environment and good service attitude.
I found a recommended restaurant in a shopping mall. The people in the store are very enthusiastic. Not only did they often ask me if I needed help during the meal, but they also chased me out to lead me to the elevator after paying the bill. Of course, the most important thing is the experience of the dishes below⬇️ ✨Poplar wood braised pancake: This dish is cooked with poplar wood, and the braised pancake is actually braised with noodles. (When the dish was served in the store, there was a small introduction card) The waiter also told me that if it was cold, I could ask him to reheat it. When I ate it, I felt that it tasted very much like big plate chicken. Of course, the difference is that it mainly contains mutton, noodles, and green peppers. The mutton is very tender, although I ate a few pieces of fat meat and couldn't eat it anymore. There is not much smell. The noodles are super big, and I tasted the green pepper flavor at the first bite, and then the mutton fragrance permeated. In short, the noodles are really delicious after being soaked in the soup! The portion is too large, and I can't eat the small portion I ordered at all. ✨Apricot peel water: It tastes different from the one in Jiayuguan. It was half peach and half sour plum before, but this one has a stronger soft girl taste. But the sour taste fades away at the end, leaving sweetness, and there is even fruit pulp at the end. #MyLifeFIRST #TheFlashingCityImpossibleToHide #DunhuangTravelGuide #Dunhuang #DunhuangFoodRecommendations 👉 Zhenpinxiang Huyang Braised Cake 📍Address: Area A, 4th Floor, Yiwang International Shopping Plaza, Yangguan Middle Road, Dunhuang City 💰Price: 100/person 🌟Rating: 4.5🌟
Clothing: Down jacket or windproof jacket, temperatures are below freezing in the morning and evening, slightly warmer from noon to afternoon. Recommended restaurants (no bad choices): Lanzhou Asiya (chain brand), Dunhuang Zhenpinxiang Lamb Stew with Flatbread. Stir-fried eggs with sand onions, hand-pulled mutton, apricot tea, braised mutton with flatbread, and donkey meat noodles are all worth trying. Sun Ji's stir-fried noodles in Zhangye were all too salty, especially the cold meat dishes and toppings. However, the noodles themselves were quite unique. Tickets: I thought November was the off-season, but tickets were still full price. Zhangye: Rainbow Mountains✓ Ping Shan Lake Grand Canyon✓ (Climbing the stairs was so difficult I questioned my existence _(:3 ⌒゙)_ But the scenery was stunning, and the hiking route was definitely worth it.) Jiayuguan: Jiayuguan Fortress (A quick visit in sub-zero temperatures). Dunhuang: My second time in Dunhuang. The Mingsha Mountain was much more challenging on a sandstorm day _(´ཀL`」 (But at least this time I didn't have to hike in the desert, haha). Mogao Grottoes are still a must-see; "Encounter Dunhuang Again" is highly recommended. The Dunhuang Museum requires reservations. This time, I had some free time to also visit Leiyin Temple and the Dunhuang Bookstore (free stamps available at the entrance).
