This red sugar pancake in Emeishan is absolutely amazing! The skin is thin, the filling is generous, and the oozy brown sugar filling is incredibly fragrant!!! You really can't get it anywhere else. The grilled steak looks large, but it's actually perfectly tender. The radish and winter melon inside are surprisingly flavorful and delicious. The broth for the cross-legged beef is so delicious I want to take it home and enjoy it with rice. Compared to those internet-famous restaurants in Leshan, I prefer these traditional local restaurants where the locals hang out.
