The signature Hakka-style braised pork belly was a beautiful reddish-brown, its appearance alone enough to whet our appetites. The Hakka handmade taro dumplings were even more amazing; the meat was soft and tender, and the savory flavor danced on our taste buds. The salt and pepper river shrimp dish showcased the undeniable freshness of the ingredients. The tenderness of the river shrimp and the fresh aroma of the chives blend perfectly, maximizing the shrimp's sweetness and allowing the chives to absorb the shrimp's flavor, creating a rich and layered taste that becomes increasingly fragrant with each chew. The signature free-range chicken soup is simply an ultimate treat for the taste buds. The broth is golden and rich, exuding a mellow aroma. A gentle sip releases a burst of delicious flavor in your mouth. The red mushroom and free-range chicken soup features incredibly tender chicken that melts in your mouth, nourishing and delicious, making you feel as warm as home. The service here is also exceptionally attentive. The waiters are warm and hospitable, always with genuine smiles, patiently introducing the dishes and offering reasonable ordering suggestions based on our tastes and number of people. During the meal, they frequently come to inquire about our dining experience, promptly refilling our tea and water, making us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious. This long-established local restaurant offers generous portions, leaving you full. The ambiance is great, and the location is easy to find, right on the way to Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. There's a large parking lot in front, and the storefront is impressive. The taste speaks for itself; a true Hakka family returning to their ancestral home would choose this restaurant. Their salt-baked chicken is particularly authentic. Seeing so many locals here, I can say I made the right choice – great value for money! I can even use a coupon now. I haven't eaten much these past few days, and this restaurant was perfect for my taste. I'll definitely eat here again if I want Hakka cuisine; you can order anything without feeling ripped off, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

‼️It was so delicious! It was truly delicious! This was the most filling meal I've had in recent days while traveling in Fujian. The owner of the B&B we were staying at during our visit to Gulangyu Island in Xiamen recommended this place to us. He told us about tours around Xiamen and said the Fujian Tulou were worth a visit. He said he had just visited Yunshuiyao, a place with beautiful mountains and water, and that we shouldn't miss out on the authentic local Hakka cuisine. The owner specifically recommended this Fujian-Cantonese restaurant for us. The three of us didn't order much, so we just ordered these four specialties: ‼️The Hakka secret salt-wine chicken is freshly made and has a rich chicken flavor. The Hakka stir-fried Jiumentou with beef tripe and fresh beef, etc. ☝️It goes well with rice and is delicious, because we like spicy food. ‼️There's also a local speciality about fish that is very tender. I don't like fish, but I had several bites today and it was very delicious, so the owner added some chili to it. I love these two dishes very much. Every dish is so delicious!
