Hammocks and climbing walls were also favorites for them, both safe and fun, allowing parents to let their children play freely. 🍽️After playing, a small restaurant at the foot of the mountain offered delicious wood-fired chicken and reservoir fish, replenishing our energy and perfectly concluding the day's activities. A perfect 4-day, 3-night trip to Gangneung, Seoul! Gangneung is a must-see. A day trip by KTX was no problem. I had tofu ice cream – so delicious I suspect they added some kind of advanced technology and extra styling tricks, haha! The cliffside cafe was incredibly photogenic. It was so popular that even early in the morning, all five of the customers were Chinese. Thanks to the lovely lady I met who took the photos for me (picture 1). I wonder if I can find anyone here. For shopping, I highly recommend Seongsu-dong. Arrive precisely at 11 am, especially on weekends, as the lines start to get incredibly long in the afternoon. I bought eight milk teas and RAIVE. Guess which items I bought in pictures 11 and 12? 🤔 The Korean retail economy is so strong that my money seems to be worth a lot. I also bought a pair of shoes. Even someone with low material desires can discover new things there. This time I stayed at PJ near Myeongdong, one stop away. The service was quite good, and there was hot water in the hallway, but the room soundproofing was terrible.
