古道村落(温汤店)

First meal when I arrived at Wentang Town. I stayed at the Vision Hotel and walked a distance to the Wenquan Ancient Street. I found a random restaurant that looked nice and had plenty of seats, so I sat down. The food was served quite quickly. The list of dishes was OK, average. The porcini mushrooms were delicious and tender. Each table was also given dried sweet potatoes. I guess they were afraid that the guests would be hungry while waiting for the food. This was quite special.

Wentang Ancient Well was built by Zen Master Dingyun in the Southern Song Dynasty. It has a history of more than 780 years and is known as the "Millennium Zen Hot Spring". Its water temperature remains at 60 to 70 degrees all year round. It is a rare low-mineralization fresh spring in the world, rich in selenium and other trace elements that are beneficial to the human body. Among the springs currently developed in the world, there are only two "high-selenium and low-sulfur" springs, one is the "Aix" mineral spring in France, and the other is the Wentang Hot Spring in Yichun, China. It is also the only rare hot spring water in the world that is as famous as the Aix mineral spring in France.
