GGuest UserGetting this hotel for around 200 yuan (RMB) was an absolute steal! The room smelled great too, and the hotel itself is very new. It features smart home technology throughout, and the bedding was super comfortable! We ended up staying for three nights straight, even trying out three different room types! The transportation is incredibly convenient, right near the Xiaoshizi subway station. Being on the 28th floor, the views were absolutely fantastic! The only downside was that it was a bit noisy. One side was under renovation, and the subway crossing the bridge on the other side was a bit loud (though the hotel front desk did call us beforehand to warn us about the construction noise from the building opposite). The front desk lady was super nice; she even added me on WeChat to give directions, which was way more helpful than map navigation. I initially planned to just stay one night to try it out, but we ended up staying for three!

XXiaoyaoyoudaxianThe biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Hongyadong, it's right downstairs. However, the overall hotel experience was just average; being so close to a tourist spot, it felt quite noisy. The hotel's hygiene was good, very clean, but the room itself felt a bit basic, like a 3-star standard, maybe slightly better than a guesthouse. The front desk is on the 15th floor, and they share elevators with other hotels, so it was crowded and chaotic. The hotel breakfast was very ordinary, with limited variety, and the dining area was small, requiring a queue. Surprisingly, the slippers in the room were reusable, which was a first for me and made for a really poor experience. If you're just looking for convenience to Hongyadong, you could consider it. But if you're sensitive to noise or have high standards for room quality, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Come and stay at the Qianxun Sky Hotel, where the river view is literally built into your room. The entire panoramic floor-to-ceiling window frames everything: the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers (Yuanyang Bay), Raffles City, and Hongya Cave. Sunset in the evening, the light show at night, and the misty morning views – you could watch it three times a day and never get bored.

BBenbenllOverall, The Moon Riverside Hotel is all about excellent value for money. It has a great location, attentive service, and comfortable stays.
I was surprised as soon as I arrived at the hotel – the location is incredibly convenient! I stayed in a city-view room, and I could see Jiefangbei directly from my window. It's really close to Hongyadong and Bayi Delicious Street, just a short walk downstairs. I didn't have to fight through crowds to take night photos; I could soak in the atmosphere right from my hotel window! Downstairs is Xiaoshizi Light Rail Station, where you can catch both Line 1 and Line 6. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street.
The room facilities are also very practical. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply is ample. The disposable amenities aren't cheap either. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, without feeling like anything was skimped on.
What surprised me the most was the free laundry service. Coming in summer, I sweat a lot, so I just threw all my dirty clothes in for washing. They were washed, dried, and ready to wear when I got them back – so convenient! There's also 24-hour butler service.
Honestly, if you're visiting Chongqing and don't want to spend a fortune but still want convenience and comfort, The Moon Riverside Hotel is definitely a go-to! The value for money is top-notch, and I had such a great time during my stay!

From our arrival, he demonstrated remarkable kindness and assistance. We inquired about laundry services, and they graciously provided them at no cost, which I greatly appreciated. The accommodations are comfortable, and the hotel offers an unparalleled city view at a remarkably reasonable price. 1. Hongyadong is just a 200-meter walk from the customer service desk on the hotel's first floor.
2. You can take the internal hotel elevator up to the 22nd floor, walk through Kuaixinglou, and reach Jiefangbei within 500 meters.
3. Taxis are easy to get, and the Line 2 monorail station is also within walking distance.
The front desk staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions about tourist attractions. They also provided a tourist map and a food guide, which was very helpful.
We booked an AI-smart room. Upon entering, 'Xiaodu' (the smart assistant) greeted us, provided daily weather forecasts, and could adjust the air conditioning, open/close the curtains, and control the lights. We could even scan a QR code for a robot to deliver bottled water, and request more if needed – it was amazing! My son also fell in love with Xiaodu, interacting with it every day and even playing songs for me.
Furthermore, from 8 PM to 10:21 PM every night, there's a free dessert soup served in the sky lobby. You can enjoy the dessert while admiring the beautiful city views – so thoughtful!
I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Chongqing.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right opposite the Twin Towers, offering expansive views and beautiful scenery, especially at night. Behind the hotel is the White Elephant Street area, making it super convenient to get to Shibati as well.
The hotel pool was the biggest surprise of our trip to Chongqing! It has three floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a translucent ceiling, making it incredibly bright and airy. We'd go out sightseeing in the morning, come back for an afternoon nap, and then the kids would have a blast swimming and playing in the water! 🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️

AAnonymous UserBanyan Tree, located in the deep mountain hot spring area of Beibei, Chongqing, has changed ownership.
Built on a mountain with natural hot springs, the scenery is beautiful, surrounded by mountains.
The hot springs are very comfortable, especially in the morning when the sound of flowing water, bird calls, and rising mist are incredibly healing.
Every day, incense sticks and essential oil scents are provided.
The shower room has a sauna, so you can steam directly.
Getting in and out relies on shuttle buses, as it's a long distance with uphill and downhill slopes, which is comfortable.
The chef is good, and the restaurant's food is indeed delicious (like Michelin-starred?).
You can order room service, which is excellent.
It's perfect for unwinding and just relaxing. Beibei is very natural, and the air smells wonderful.
The breakfast selection isn't vast but has everything you need. It's more Chinese-style and quite tasty, but the service staff aren't outstanding.
We met a lovely intern who was very energetic. He told us he was lucky to choose this place for his internship because the guests are high-quality, making him happy every day. Unlike his peers who were unlucky and chose less desirable hotels, where they faced many rude and low-quality guests daily, making them miserable. He was very cheerful, always smiling as he shuttled us around. We told him we'd praise him, and we mean it! The overall facilities are really outdated (like a sanatorium) – maybe it's related to the high maintenance costs in the mountains? There was even a lot of dust on the room phone.
I almost stepped into a hole twice on the floor next to the terrace hot spring (it had塌陷, my foot got stuck, which was a bit scary at night).
The sealing strip on the bathroom door is worn out, and the door doesn't close properly.
The air conditioning at night was ridiculously hot, making the whole room 29 degrees – I woke up feeling hot (and the duvet was incredibly thick). Turning it off and opening a small crack in the window brought me from a suffocating state back to comfort.
The welcome fruit platter was the worst I've ever had at a Banyan Tree... [Shy] The tissues were folded beautifully, though...
Aside from water, even Coca-Cola in the mini-bar is charged. Ugh, I've never been charged for soft drinks in a five-star hotel or above before...
❗️It's not that important, after all, service can compensate for many things.
BUT❗️
When we inquired about the included activities like Baduanjin and incense making, the front desk service was evasive, giving various strange reasons like it didn't fit the brand's tone, so it was canceled, blah blah blah. Then they said they'd check if a class could be arranged and get back to us. And then, nothing. It was as if the matter never existed – no follow-up, no call back. Half an hour later, the cleaning aunt knocked on the door and brought a small Banyan Tree turtle (which is usually provided as two per room upon check-in at Banyan Tree hotels; now it seemed like a subtle consolation prize? Since we had several already, we didn't pursue it further). The activities weren't essential for us to participate in; it was just a casual inquiry, so we didn't press the issue. However, the Banyan Tree's response to service inquiries was surprising (at other Banyan Tree hotels, the front desk concierge usually details all activities and nearby facilities during check-in).
During check-out, they formally asked how the room was. I replied that the facilities were a bit old and the bathroom door couldn't be closed. The front desk responded, ”Oh, really? We'll have someone look at it.” And that was it. Nothing more, nothing less.
At such a high price during Chinese New Year, the service received was completely disproportionate and provided no emotional value (except for the intern). I felt a bit ripped off.
I really like the location.
I really like the hot spring mountain.
And it's a Banyan Tree brand that I generally adore.
But it also felt like I wasn't staying at a Banyan Tree.

GGuest UserThe entire guest room is clean and tidy. As soon as you enter, there is no unpleasant smell at all. The decoration is simple and elegant, and the lighting and ventilation are both excellent. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress is neither too hard nor too soft. After walking all day, lying on it can quickly relieve the fatigue of the whole body and help you sleep soundly until dawn. The bathroom is spotlessly clean, the toiletries are of superior quality, the hot water supply is abundant and stable, and the shower experience is excellent. The desks and chairs in the room are spacious and comfortable, and the network speed is extremely fast, fully meeting the needs of remote working and video conferences.
The location is great. It's just a few minutes' walk from Jiefangbei and a dozen minutes' walk to Huguang Guild Hall, Hongya Cave and other scenic spots. It takes only a few stops by subway or light rail to reach scenic spots such as Chaotianmen and Raffles City. Enjoy the night view of the mountain town at night. Xiao Yan is very enthusiastic in service. She will communicate in advance about check-in and check-out situations, reply to messages in a timely manner, and answer any questions guests encounter. The overall stay experience is impeccable. Xiaoyan's service, hygiene and facilities have all reached the ultimate level. I strongly recommend it to all travel friends!

Jjade 玉Pretty good, it's a Home Inn. It's conveniently located right across from Hongyadong and near Jiefangbei. Our room was on the 16th floor, and maybe because of the high floor, it wasn't too noisy at night. However, there was no air conditioning available this season, only heating, which is centrally controlled. I requested a fan, but it still felt stuffy and hot, causing me to wake up several times during the night. It has its own elevator, which feels a bit safer.
