Romantic Hotels in Guizhou, China

The room is very clean, the environment is OK, the service is also very good, there is enough space for two people, the bathroom is very large, with a bathtub and shower, and two washbasins. I personally think it is mainly quiet, which is very good for someone like me who has a light sleep and poor sleep quality.

I really loved the style of the hotel; it's very simple yet the decor is grand. It has everything you need. What I liked most was the quality of their desk, it's very good and convenient to use. The only downside was that the room lighting was a bit dim, but I just asked the front desk staff for a desk lamp and they brought it to my room within minutes – the service was truly excellent! This really highlights their great service. Getting a taxi here can be a bit tricky; you need to pay close attention to their online description which says it's in the same building as the Vienna Hotel to know where it is. If you don't look carefully, their navigation will stop at the traffic light downstairs without any further markers, and you only find signage once you reach the building. So, if you haven't been here before, you definitely won't find it. I'd suggest the owner put up a more noticeable sign, otherwise it's not very friendly for out-of-town guests. Parking is also very convenient; you just need to ask the front desk staff for guidance, and they'll register your license plate for easy access in and out. Overall, my stay was great. The main thing is that the price is very reasonable, making the room very comfortable to stay in. After all, at that price point, there are bound to be good and not-so-good aspects, but overall it's good, so five-star rating! The front desk staff's service was fantastic.

The room was clean, and the service was excellent. Every day, they'd ask if I wanted afternoon tea or late-night snacks. Even though it's only a two-story hotel, it's fully equipped with everything you could need. Parking was convenient, and the location is absolutely fantastic! The White House and the Twin Towers are both just a few hundred meters away.

This hotel is perfectly located right downstairs from famous attractions like the White House and the Twin Towers. You can just step outside and snap some amazing photos. Plus, the hotel has its own laundry room with both a washer and dryer, which is incredibly convenient for travelers – no more lugging around dirty clothes! It's such a relief. The room amenities are also super complete; you really don't need to bring anything extra. Especially cool is being able to control the lights just by calling out to Tmall Genie. It's smart and convenient – definitely a godsend for lazy people like me!

Wonderful stay at this minsu. Highly recommended, although there are some misses in their service. It would be excellent if they were more comprehensive in explaining to visitors about the events happening in the little village. Recommendations on the highlights of the village needed to be sought for but once you ask the right questions, they are very willing to share. Their service is also on point. Just need to send a WeChat message to their housekeeper and you’ll get an almost instant response. Awesome stay.

The location is excellent, near the metro and not far from the center of Guiyang. Breakfast is not bad, hotel staffs are friendly and ready to help but they cannot speak english (you can use translator for communicate)

The room was spacious and bright with an excellent view, overlooking Dongshan Temple to the east and Jiaxiu Tower to the south. An extra bed cost 350 RMB and included breakfast. Room service was excellent; they provided an abundance of bottled water daily, more than we could possibly drink. The executive lounge's afternoon tea selection was a bit sparse, and wine wasn't available during happy hour. However, the lounge itself was usually quiet with few diners. Unlike a resort hotel with abundant dining choices, the main dining areas elsewhere in the hotel were still absolutely packed. Breakfast leaned heavily towards Guizhou cuisine, and many dishes were unfamiliar or not to my liking. Items like crispy pork cracklings and pork intestines were common, and approximately 80% of the Chinese hot dishes were spicy. The steamed bun selection was consistently unvaried, offering just pork buns and custard buns, and their taste was mediocre. After eating for five consecutive days, by the last two days, the food had become completely unappetizing, and I was quite tired of it. Despite the breakfast issues, I extended my stay for another three nights, primarily because of the excellent room and service.

In November 2025, a group of five of us, all foreigners in our sixties with some mobility issues, visited Guizhou for the first time. Our first night was spent at a guesthouse on the flat ground at the foot of the Miao Village. For our second night, wanting a better view of the beautiful Miao Village night scenery, we considered several guesthouses on the mountain before finally choosing this one. On the afternoon of our check-in, the manager personally brought two other people to our first guesthouse to help us with our luggage. Our bags were quite large and heavy, but the three young people didn't hesitate, didn't show any displeasure, and had absolutely no reservations. Their attitude was excellent; they smoothly carried our luggage up to the mountain guesthouse and placed it in our rooms without a word. After we settled in, the guesthouse owner even treated us to some excellent Guizhou tea. The next morning, as we had an early departure, the guesthouse manager woke up early to prepare a rich and delicious breakfast for us. When we checked out, they again helped us carry our luggage down the mountain and waited until our van arrived and our luggage was loaded before they left. Every staff member at this guesthouse, especially the manager, provided service that was not just satisfactory, but truly deserving of high praise! The room views were also excellent, and they offered free Miao ethnic costumes for photos, as well as an elegantly decorated platform for us to take pictures and check in on social media. Finally, I want to express my gratitude once again to these three young people for their help, and I commend their professionalism, dedication, and cheerful demeanor. I hope that on all our future travels, any guesthouse or hotel we stay in will have such outstanding staff. I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel uses well-known brands for their shampoo and body wash, which made us feel really comfortable. The room was spotless and tidy, and staff cleaned it daily, replenishing toiletries and other amenities – a really thoughtful touch. There was also a mini-fridge stocked with free mineral water and drinks, and you could even ask staff to restock them once they were finished. The mattress and pillows had just the right firmness, making for a super comfortable sleep, so we slept soundly until morning. Our room also featured a small tea area, thoughtfully equipped with Zunyi Red Tea and Duyun Maojian, perfect for brewing a relaxing cup anytime. In the hotel lobby, there was refreshing floral tea available, and staff offered us a warm cup during check-in – their attention to detail was top-notch. The hotel even has a policy where you can change rooms or get a refund if you're not satisfied within 30 minutes, which completely removed any worries about checking in. The location is also excellent, right in the heart of the Financial City, with the subway and bus stations just downstairs, making it incredibly convenient. It's also close to the Guizhou Provincial Museum, perfect for visiting exhibitions. This place offers incredible value for money; I'll definitely choose it again next time!

Lovely spot in Zhenyuan Ancient Town, great balcony view of the ZhuSheng bridge, and close to two attractions shipinshan and qinglong cave. It's in the quieter part of the town and further from the drop off point but it's easy to take the guanguangche. If you have many luggages, I believe the guesthouse can help to arrange pick up of luggages from the entrance. Amenities are great, bed and pillows are comfortable and impeccable view primarily. It's a quiet town where lights go off at midnight, pace of life is slow and it's lovely to stroll around.
