Whenever I visit Gu'an, I always choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the surrounding area is fantastic with plenty of dining and shopping options. Central Park is just across the street, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner – it's incredibly relaxing. The only downside this time of year is the abundance of poplar catkins, which can be quite annoying.

Guest UserTwo mothers with two children stayed in the family suite and had a fantastic experience. The children loved the room's decorations and toys, and anything they needed was promptly delivered after a phone call to the front desk. There were also picture books and building blocks on the first floor for play. One night, I left my phone in the toy area, and as soon as I returned to the room, the front desk called to ask if I had left it behind – a truly thoughtful touch.

Anonymous UserThis is my second stay at this beachfront hotel, and the experience is still absolutely fantastic! 👍 It's so close to the coast, you feel like you can almost reach out and touch the waves 🌊.
In the morning, I love watching the sunrise from bed, as the morning sun slowly rises over the sea, filling the room with a soft, incredibly healing light ✨.
Stepping out of the hotel, it's just a one-minute walk to the beach. You can set up tents for free there ⛺, and I really enjoy the feeling of diving into the sea and embracing the waves – it's a wonderful way to clear your mind. (Oh, and the hotel provides free swimming rings 😉).
Finally, I really want to mention that the owner is still as warm and attentive as ever. Both at check-in and check-out, they thoughtfully offer homegrown fruits 🍉. These small, warm gestures are hidden in every little detail 💛.
Here, you can shake off the weariness of the world and let the sea breeze soothe your mind and soul~ ❤️

Guest UserTraveling to Qinhuangdao with my kids, I wanted to find a hotel that offered comfort, tranquility, cleanliness, and good dining options, so I chose the Shangri-La Hotel, Qinhuangdao. Shangri-La's quality, as always, is trustworthy. The front desk staff kindly arranged a fantastic room for us on the 12th floor with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Sitting on the balcony at night, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's back garden conveniently leads right to the beach. The front desk ladies also prepared small slippers and cartoon toothbrushes for the kids, and the breakfast was very rich. My child said they want to stay at this hotel again next time we visit Qinhuangdao.

Guest UserThis time, I stayed at a B&B within the Azure Coast park. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, so the location is absolutely fantastic. With its incredibly long beach, you can take photos, go mudflat exploring, or just relax. It's an all-in-one seaside destination, and the experience was perfect 💯

Guest UserThis hotel is super close to the beach and provides complimentary swimming floats, clam digging tools, and bicycles for guests, which is a very thoughtful touch. There's a market a few hundred meters west of the hotel selling seafood, vegetables, and other local produce, which is great for a stroll. Parking is available at the hotel. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely choose this place again when I come back to Nandaihe.

Guest UserThe room and women's lockers were clean, but there were many dirty towels left in the resting area next to the hot springs pools. Customer service at the front desk wasn't very good this time when we wanted to go to the hot springs. The man working the front desk took a long time finding someone to accompany us to the hot springs, and when a lady finally came to accompany us there, she took us back to our rooms, instead, even though we had clearly told the man at the front desk we wanted to go to the hot springs. The employees didn't communicate with each other clearly, nor did they use common sense. When I first asked the front desk employee to accompany us to the hot springs, he said no and waved us away, but I knew it was complicated to get there and he had to tell the hot springs we were hotel guests, like what happened when I had stayed there before. It's only possible to communicate using a translation app here, since no employee speaks a single word of English, even. The restaurant's electronic menu is only in Chinese, too, so we needed to use a translation app to read the menu, also. They didn't light up all the lights in the hot springs area tonight, so it was much darker than when I had come here before. Regarding our hotel room, the refrigerator didn't work, even though it was plugged in, and the mattresses were hard.

Guest UserIs everyone flocking to Beidaihe to escape the summer heat? It was scorching! At 10:30 AM, it was already 36 degrees Celsius outside, and the tide was out, so we couldn't even go crabbing. It's hard to book a last-minute hotel in a crowded Beidaihe. I saw reviews mentioning old facilities but had no choice but to book it. Honestly, with that expectation, it wasn't too bad. After all, the hotel is 20 years old, so maintaining it like this isn't easy.
Avoid Building No. 3. The elevator constantly breaks down, which is terrifying. It was under repair when we arrived, so we had to climb the stairs, and it broke again the next day. When I reported it to the front desk, they seemed completely unconcerned, as if they were used to it. From 6 AM to 8:30 AM, there was a vibrating noise throughout the building. I thought it was a construction site, but when I asked the front desk, they said it was the kitchen machines running for breakfast. All I can do is commend their 'excellence' – I'm out of words.
The hotel breakfast costs 38 yuan per person. If your room rate includes breakfast, you'll eat it and be speechless. For those who didn't book with breakfast, don't waste your money. It's even worse than a farmhouse breakfast – there's nothing, not even fried rice or noodles. I heard it's not even run by the hotel but by a partner. I saw customers arguing because the breakfast vouchers given by the hotel weren't enough, and they were counting heads, which didn't match up. These are all avoidable issues.
The staff don't wear name tags, so I don't know anyone's name. If I wanted to praise someone, I wouldn't know who to mention. Overall, some service was decent. However, the security was lacking; there was no one directing parking, and no designated spots. Everyone just parked wherever they could find space. I can understand, though; it's tough for anyone in nearly 40-degree heat under the blazing sun. If there are other hotels you can book, go elsewhere. The only selling point is the small, unkempt patch of beach and rocks downstairs; there's really nothing else.

KexinertaniangArcadia is a well-established entertainment complex with meticulously maintained pools, lawns, and beaches. We booked a pet-friendly room, and upon check-in, the resort arranged a shuttle to take us to Zone 3. The room was incredibly spacious, with great natural light, and they even provided a pet welcome kit, which thoughtfully included tick repellent spray. Right outside our door were a lawn and a pool, which our dog absolutely loved, and our child had a blast too. It's definitely a top choice for family trips! Our personal butler regularly checked in to see if we needed anything, which was a very thoughtful touch. All in all, I highly recommend Arcadia!

Guest UserThis is our go-to hotel every year. It's really easy to find, and this year we happened to check in right on my child's birthday! The hotel even gave us a birthday cake. The buffet downstairs is also very rich and varied! We'll definitely be back again next year!
