Perfect hotel for exploring the Tianmen mountain, the cableway station is literally just crossing the street. Also perfect for going to the Zhangjiajie park, either south or east gate. The only thing they should improve is the quality of the western breakfast options, for a hotel like this one would expect better quality, but the overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staying here was absolutely wonderful! The location is fantastic, right in the city center, with shopping districts and a subway station just outside, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they even upgraded our room for free. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, and the food tasted great. It offers amazing value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Highly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel in Changsha offers an amazing Hanfu and DJI experience! 🌿🌸 📍 The location is absolutely perfect. It's tucked away in an alley right by Wuyi Square, with Cha Yan (a popular tea shop) just downstairs. IFS (a major shopping mall) is only a five or six-minute walk away. After a night out, it’s super safe and convenient to just stroll back. And the best part? Once you close the door, it's incredibly quiet—nothing like staying in a bustling downtown area. That's a huge plus! ✨ 🏠 The room decor is exactly my style. It's a modern Chinese aesthetic with a blend of natural wood and minimalist white spaces. With the soft spring light coming through the window, every photo turns out beautifully! 📸 The mattress is just the right firmness. After a full day of walking around during the Qingming holiday, I practically collapsed into bed after my shower. 💤 The bathroom is well-designed with a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure is consistent. 🤫 The service is also very pleasant. The front desk staff are so gentle and soft-spoken. The lobby has a subtle sandalwood scent and complimentary tea. The whole atmosphere just tells you to “slow down, take your time.” It perfectly captures that laid-back, spring-time vibe. 🍃 Plus, they offer Hanfu experiences and DJI drone rentals! Wearing Hanfu and walking through the streets during the Qingming holiday definitely adds to the atmosphere.

The Didi taxi 50% off coupon was incredibly convenient and a great deal. The overall lighting was excellent, making the space very comfortable. The environment was lovely, and the service was warm and attentive. The facilities were complete, and the location was convenient, very close to Wanjiali Plaza. Plus, they offered afternoon tea delivered right to the room, which I was very happy with.

The hotel rooms are designed in a modern Chinese style, and the location is right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. You can also take the subway right across the street. On the fifth floor, there's a washer-dryer combo, which is a lifesaver on rainy days. The concierge added me on WeChat, so I can ask them anything. The rooms offer beautiful views and are quite spacious with a great outlook. If you need to, you can store your luggage for free on the first floor. Highly recommended!

This hotel stay was absolutely fantastic, definitely deserves a great review! 👍 First off, during check-in, the lady at the front desk, Miss No. 5, surprised me by upgrading my room – such a pleasant surprise! Later, I had an unexpected commitment and couldn't leave, so I asked if I could have a late check-out. Without any hesitation, they agreed to let me check out at 2 PM. So thoughtful and accommodating! The service here is incredibly flexible and customer-focused. I'll definitely be back!

I stayed in Changsha last week and tried a different hotel this time. My previous stay was near IFS, and when I got off the train this time, I thought I wasn't close to Wuyi Square. But I was wrong! It was just a short walk to the bustling pedestrian street, and all the shops had promotions going on – it was so lively. Even though it was a Monday yesterday, it felt like a weekend! The hotel's location is highly recommended, and the service was excellent. When we checked out, the front desk attendant even gave us a small gift. There's one thing I'd like to mention: could guests please not be allowed to smoke in the lobby at night? The ventilation system seems to be shared, as we could smell it in our room too. Since our room didn't have windows and we have sensitive noses, it was quite uncomfortable.

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

Two days and one night in Changsha | Stayed at a really cool hotel and had Cha Yan, which isn't available in Wuhan. Discovered a hidden gem design hotel in Changsha! 🖤 The overall dark aesthetic is super cool, with excellent taste that's both stylish and upscale. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the concierge even recommended Hongyuan BBQ nearby, which was very authentic and bustling with local life. The location is also convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Zhidi Plaza. Of course, a trip to Changsha wouldn't be complete without Cha Yan! This time, I tried all the milk teas and coffees from the Cha Yan family – they're not in Wuhan yet 😭 The milk tea was as refreshing and consistently good as ever, and the coffee was surprisingly excellent, easily comparable to a professional coffee shop. Both my stomach and taste buds are satisfied, I'll definitely come again next time~

I had a great stay , The room and common areas were very clean, and housekeeping did a solid job throughout my visit. The location is convenient for getting around, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The receptionists were very kind and helpful,they were responsive and quick to assist with any questions. Amenities were well maintained and everything worked as expected. Overall, excellent value and I’d happily stay here again.
