Romantic Hotels in Jiangsu, China

It was a very satisfying trip. My family of three checked in on October 8th, booking a two-bedroom, one-living room room at Taoxie Viewing Bamboo. Our housekeeper, Li Sipeng, contacted me a day in advance to confirm our arrival time and provided us with detailed and clear information about the hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, Li was already waiting for us and upgraded us to Taoxie Viewing Mountain. The experience was incredibly comfortable. My son and I each had our own suite, offering stunning views and an outdoor hot tub and swimming pool. The hotel also provided many helpful perks. The front desk, restaurant staff, driver, and staff were all courteous and helpful. Li was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. Our photographer, April, was also a fantastic photographer, and I was thrilled to capture so many beautiful photos. The restaurant's cuisine was also delicious and suited our tastes. Overall, I had a wonderful impression of Bamboo Valley and will definitely return when I have time.

The service exceeded my expectations. The staff at Chang Le were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service from the moment they drove me up the mountain in an electric cart, to the explanations along the way, and even the patient explanations of the facilities in the treehouse. The service was exceptionally attentive and meticulous. Both the hot springs at the summit and the private hot springs in my room had excellent water quality and were very comfortable. The environment was quiet, and the hiking around the mountain provided just the right amount of exercise for a relaxing vacation. A very satisfying trip.

I brought my elderly parents here for a hot spring getaway during Chinese New Year, and the hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I was genuinely surprised by how seriously they took every request from my parents and fulfilled each one. The complimentary osmanthus cake was delicious! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The room setup was fantastic, very thoughtfully designed with a great, seamless flow throughout. The service was truly exceptional. Irene at the lobby bar took wonderful care of our child, Eva, and the lobby bar breakfast manager was incredibly attentive, even suggesting new options. Zoey, a truly sweet lady, made sure my breakfast drinks were plentiful, fulfilling my New Year's 'wine enthusiast' dream! Kayson, the bellhop, was extremely considerate and helped with our elderly parents' needs. Oh, and a hotel staff member even helped us install a bed rail late at night. My husband tried the agarwood scent at the spa, and for once, that smelly man actually smelled good! We ate at Jinjing Pavilion for four days, probably 5-6 meals, and the service was incredibly thorough. We practically went through the entire menu! The Michelin-starred restaurant even catered to the children's meals, which was fantastic! These are just the things I can remember; there are so many more people and experiences that make this hotel worth revisiting! As a very discerning guest, I've already provided the hotel with two minor suggestions: the 1.8-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for sleeping with a child (though an extra bed solved this), and the bottom of the bathtub was quite slippery. Also, both the bathtub and showerheads had very high water pressure, which wasn't ideal for children. Overall, during the Chinese New Year, we successfully managed a nearby escape with our entire family, from young to old. Four Seasons Suzhou is truly worth visiting every season.

The hotel environment is great, and the facilities are good too. Our butler, Xiao Rui, is very attentive and provides excellent service; she's always responsive and helpful. Because I'm a bit lazy and missed breakfast, Xiao Rui even packed some breakfast and delivered it to my room – I'm very grateful! (Haha, I think for a relaxing vacation hotel, offering more flexibility with breakfast options would be better, catering to those who like to sleep in but still want breakfast). Overall, it's a good choice, and I'd consider staying here again sometime. Also, the service at the Thai hot pot restaurant was quite good.

From the moment we checked in, the staff helped with our luggage and offered hot towels and tea, which was a lovely touch after our journey. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a Yangcheng Yangxiu Private Hot Spring Suite, and arriving by boat was a really unique experience. The room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were top-notch and complete. Our child loved swimming, and having an outdoor hot spring pool right there kept them very happy. I particularly enjoyed the tea room, where I could savor a cup of tea with my partner while watching our child play. We’ve stayed at Banyan Tree many times, and while the breakfast is consistently not very extensive, there's room for improvement there. [***** New Year Special | Complimentary dual tea, coffee & dessert on check-in day]: We ordered a hot cappuccino and an iced Americano, which were quite good. [Boat Check-in Experience]: This was my first time experiencing it, and it was quite novel.

The environment is simply stunning. Located right next to Shishan Park, it's tranquil and elegant, with a beautiful ambiance. The courtyard views are picturesque at every turn. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. Lumi contacted us in advance to understand our needs and even gave us a complimentary upgrade based on our situation – so nice! 👍 From check-in to check-out, the entire process was seamless, and every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel's Chinese New Year activities were also diverse and entertaining. It was an impeccable experience, definitely worth a full recommendation! Recommended by a local Nanjing friend! We were pleasantly surprised when we drove there: easy parking, beautiful large bamboo groves, and spacious rooms perfect for families, complete with a kitchen and dining table for simple cooking. There's also plenty of space between the villas, offering great privacy. The air is fresh, perfect for a walk. The photos on the platform are accurate! Our butler, Louis, responded instantly to all our questions. When we had an early flight, the buggy we booked was waiting promptly at the door. The 'Simple Man' restaurant's double-pepper fish head and rice noodle black pork were delicious! It's a shame we encountered rainy weather this time, so we couldn't fully enjoy ourselves. We'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance to visit the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region in the future. Highly recommend!

The room view is absolutely stunning! The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer breathtaking views of Xuanwu Lake, Purple Mountain, and the city skyline. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Most importantly, Customer Service Manager LORA was incredibly attentive and professional. The front desk check-in was efficient and quick, and they even helped me with my takeout order. Their service was warm and thorough, making for a perfect experience!
