Romantic Hotels in Jiangxi, China

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

Convenient location with parking, great value for money.

Hotel location is very good, just beside the visitor center, there is an ancient milk tea shop and a restaurant opposite the hotel, dining is very convenient. On weekdays plus rainy days, there are not many guests, plus Jinjiang members, and breakfast is delivered to the room. Breakfast is delivered to the room on time as required, the amount is large and sealed, clean and delicious, it is recommended to have breakfast powder, no less than the beef powder opposite. The room was clean, although a little old, but the room had all the facilities, the bath water was quite large, the bathroom was spacious and cost-effective. The next day, due to the 3 o'clock train, the check-out was delayed until 2 o'clock. The waiter was active and enthusiastic.

Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!

Facilities: The room facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast offers a rich variety. The front desk provided a free room upgrade and their service was enthusiastic. Parking is convenient. Environment: The room environment is beautiful, with a balcony offering stunning mountain views. The location is right next to the Jinsha cable car, which is very convenient.

We liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

The service throughout our stay was excellent! Our butler was incredibly thoughtful, helping us with our luggage and taking us to the car park. There's even a special express lane for the cable car, so no waiting in line. Our room offered a delightful view from the window, and with performances happening right below, we didn't have to jostle with crowds in the square. Being able to pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired from exploring the scenic area was a huge plus – it truly is a hotel right inside the attraction! Plus, free admission to the scenic area for stays within three years makes it incredibly good value for money!

A perfect stay! The service was excellent, the environment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it with five stars! The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Jingsha Cable Car entrance, about a ten-minute walk away, and they also offer a free shuttle service. This made hiking with luggage and a child completely stress-free. The surrounding commercial street has plenty of dining options, making it easy to stock up on essentials. The front desk staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room for free. They explained the map and routes, offering great suggestions. Not only are the rooms thoughtful, but the hotel also boasts a large, fully padded children's play area and a constant-temperature parent-child swimming pool. After a day of climbing, the kids could play to their heart's content, while adults could enjoy a leisurely stroll in the courtyard. In the evening, there was a limited-time landscape laser light show, and the night view was absolutely stunning for photos.
