Romantic Hotels in Sichuan, China

Spotless and clean! We booked the 180 Panorama Room to experience the large bath in room and it did not disappoint. The hotel is located inside a building along with a couple other hotel properties but it’s easy enough to locate. The design aesthetics is more cyber and lots of glass and mirrors so if that’s your thing you’ll like it. (I personally would like a bit more warmth.) Comes with butler service and coffee every morning which is a lovely feature. Location is about 15 min walk (a very uninteresting walk) to the closest metro so we hauled a cab every time we went out. The toilet is japanese style which is cool. My only grievance is that the sliding door is basically see thru so might be a bit awkward when using the toilet lol.

The room offers an amazing view, with its window directly facing Mount Siguniang, making it incredibly convenient to admire the snow-capped peaks! The room itself has a unique cave-like, luxurious feel. The amenities are very convenient, including a humidifier and an oxygen concentrator, which made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The service was impeccable; the staff were all very enthusiastic and basically accommodated every request. Highly recommended!

An exceptional stay from start to finish! The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, always friendly, attentive, and professional. My room was spacious with a stunning view, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The amenities were top notch, and the location was perfect convenient yet peaceful. This was truly a memorable experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, relaxing stay.

My stay here was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a wide variety including congee, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, catering to all tastes. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was soft and tidy, and all the amenities were neatly arranged. The location is excellent, with super convenient transportation – you can catch a bus or subway right outside. Plus, it's incredibly close to a food street, just a few minutes' walk to enjoy some great eats.

The hotel is very centrally located, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The building and interiors are beautiful, with a stylish and well-thought-out design. While some areas feel slightly worn, everything is still in good condition and well maintained. The service was excellent: all the staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also very clean, which we really appreciated. As a pleasant surprise, we were given a complimentary room upgrade to a very beautiful room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is good and affordable, with a very strategic location in the city center of Chengdu. It’s close to shopping areas and the station, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel staff are friendly, and the room was clean. The only downside was the there is small space in shower room, so when we showered, water tended to spill out and made the floor wet. However, overall we really liked this hotel and enjoyed our stay🙂

Fantastic location! It's a mere 5–8 minute walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. The hotel is also conveniently close to Chunxi Road Station (Metro Lines 2/3) and Tianfu Square Station (Metro Lines 1/2), with an abundance of restaurants and attractions nearby. The breakfast spread is extensive, the room offers great views, and the soundproofing is excellent, though it could use a minor check. Both the Chinese and Western breakfast options are plentiful and authentic, making it suitable for both business travelers and families. The room facilities feel a bit dated. The錦食八寶 afternoon tea: Very tasty. Laundry service: Very thoughtful.

My overall experience staying at this hotel was great. The room offered a fantastic view of Taikoo Li at night, which was absolutely stunning. The in-room sound system and the floor-to-ceiling windows created a very comfortable ambiance. The room was well-equipped, and they even offer a private butler service. 'Bread' was my butler, and they were incredibly helpful, even retrieving a package for me so I didn't have to leave my room – very satisfied! I also forgot my phone, and 'Bread' responded instantly. Big thumbs up and kudos to the butler for their enthusiastic service!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-star review! The service at Mercure Chengdu Chunxi is truly outstanding! The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient and quick, and patiently answering all my questions. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and housekeeping meticulous. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. The staff were friendly, and the detailed service was thoughtful and impeccable. My stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu. Highly recommended!

Looks better in the photos than in reality, not quite hotel quality cleaniness etc. but very good value still for the price. I felt like it hadn’t been at least properly cleaned, like the floors. Bed was very nice and tidy, sofa uncomfortable and a little untidy. No english speaking staff but things work out with the online translator as well. Got the projector to work with the help of the staff, even if it had to be changed. The TV on the 1st floor was broken. The indoor air isn’t too great, maybe because smoking has been allowed. It’s not bad either but not for the most sensitive ones. Quiet and comfortable all and all, I had a nice view from the 21st floor. Thank you for the stay.
