"This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even proactively helped with our luggage. The room was spacious and bright, and it came with an exclusive terrace that offered stunning direct views of the entire ocean. It was so relaxing to feel the sea breeze there. The overall environment was comfortable, and the service was attentive. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again."

"THE BEST HOTEL WE'VE EVER STAYED AT 😩❤️❤️ Our plan was to stay one night in Shangri-La and we made THE BEST decision booking this hotel. They provided pick up and drop off service from the railway station and the car was very comfortable for us 4 people. The butler waited for us right outside the station and greeted us with a smile. He helped us with the bags and drove us to the hotel. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the station and when we arrived, the staff gave us each the ******* scarf as a welcome gift. They explained everything in english and added us to a wechat group with all the staffs so we can ask anything in the group through wechat right away. The room was BIG. Was luxurious and very high tech. and DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE VIEWS 😭😭😭 The view from the room was IMMACULATE. I COULD WATCH IT EVERYDAY. Everything was clean, new and COMFY. They have everything prepared and everything was complete. The hotel provided complimentary afternoon tea for each night and you could order any drinks you like from the rooftop cafe. The drinks were amazing and they even provided some fruits. The view from the rooftop cafe was also amazing. We had an amazing time in the cafe. There were a lot of animals roaming around the ranch of the hotel and we got to touch feed and take pictures with all of them!!! It was THE MOST MEMORABLE part of the stay! There were rabbits goats lambs alpacas yak cows pigs. All of them were roaming around freely and we could take pictures and play with them! There were also another cafe and the other side of the ranch with very good views. The ranch is filled with multiple photo spots. They prepared a few huts with cute props for us to take pictures. At night, they prepared a tea making event for us to enjoy but we didnt have any time since we went to the ancient town that night. The Didis are surprisingly easy to be found even at 11pm. When we came back to the hotel they handed us each a cup of warm yak milk for a good night sleep. We slept so comfortably and the next day, we had our delicious breakfast and they were so considerate offering us a halal version of the breakfast!! And we also had our complimentary photoshoot with the ******* cultural outfits. It was very good and we got 5 pictures for free!! We requested for a late checkout but they couldn't do it since there are other people checking in the next day. However, they instead offered another complimentary afternoon tea session!!! After checking out, we leave our bags in the hotel lobby and they handed us each a goody bag filled with snacks!!! We played a little bit more with the animals and enjoyed our last few hours in the rooftop cafe for the last time! We were so sad leaving the hotel but surely we will come again!!!"

"The staff here are incredibly welcoming and personable! We stayed for three days and two nights, and on our second day, we met some friends from the US. We all chatted together about how enthusiastic the guesthouse staff were, and how amazing the breakfast and afternoon tea spreads were! You can see the snow-capped mountains from both the rooms and the common areas! It's hard to believe this price includes so much – excellent value for money! I can totally understand why so many foreigners choose to stay here! During our three-day stay, we met people from Thailand, the US, and Russia. Usually, guesthouses don't include lunch or dinner, but during one of our afternoon tea sessions, we asked the staff, and they mentioned that if we needed it, we could just let them know in advance. It's a shame it rained during our visit; otherwise, the scenery would have been even more stunning! Due to the weather, we also asked the staff for advice on some of our activities. When we ran into issues buying tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they proactively offered to help us sort it out. If you're a social butterfly, this place is highly recommended! You can strike up conversations during afternoon tea. At first, the staff seemed a bit reserved, and honestly, so were we, haha. From their perspective, they probably weren't sure if guests wanted to chat. So, if you're looking to connect, feel free to be a bit more proactive – we certainly got to know them better over afternoon tea!"

The overall decor was simple yet upscale, with stylish arched doorways that added a touch of elegance. The room was spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is convenient, with many dining options nearby. The front desk service was attentive and responsive. The thoughtful details in the room made my stay in Kunming very relaxing. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Stepping into the room, I was immediately impressed; the actual space is even better than the photos. The overall decor is simple and comfortable, with no ostentatious decorations, yet it has all the essential amenities. The bedding is soft and clean, and the mattress is just the right firmness – after a long day, lying down on it quickly helps you relax. The bathroom features a wet and dry separation, stable hot water, and good quality toiletries. The room has excellent natural light, and opening the window offers a view of a quiet courtyard, free from noise. The cleanliness is truly impeccable; the floors, corners, and tabletops were spotless, and the duvet had no strange odors. You can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into maintaining a high standard of cleanliness."

"Very lovely hotel, situated right nearby of the old town area. It took us 10 mins walk from the night streets. The hotel itself has amazing traditional decoration. Room is clean and well-equipped with amenities. The breakfast is really delicious, big portion, and the reception made sure we choose our breakfast once we checked in. There are also some activities like welcome drink, local tea testing and mid-night nourishing soup. The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, so may need to consider if you have elderly guests. The highest rooms are on the 2nd floor. Highly recommended!"
