We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

The hotel (Yueshang Banshan Viewing Bieyuan) is located in the Lion Mountain of the ancient city of Lijiang. Convenient whether shopping There is also a restaurant opposite the front door. Room condition is very good. Suitable for family groups or groups of friends or couples. 2nd floor view overlooking the old city and surrounding atmosphere. Clean. There is a common area to accommodate customers. The staff are smiling and cheerful. Gives advice and answers questions about Lijiang tourism very well. I will come back and stay here again!! 🩷🩷

Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. One young man walked me straight to a very decent restaurant because I mentioned I was hungry. I do not smoke, and that will prevent me from staying here again. The entire place is heavily seasoned with stale cigarette smoke, including the two (very friendly and helpful) young male staff. The smell was so stong, I had to stand at a distance from them and remain outside of the place as long as I could. There is no such thing as a non-smoking room here. Noise was also an issue, due to the construction of the building. One attached image shows one of the few gaps in the walls where light, smoke and noise entered the room readily. There was noise until about 3:00 AM from the outside, from the lobby, and from the room above. I was in room 105 which faced the alley that tourists raced scooters up all day and evening. If you are a smoker, this could be a cozy place for you. Side note: the ******* Goodness café (pictured) served some of the best coffee I had in China. It has a great vibe and is close to the inn.

Hygiene: Full marks, clean and tidy, smart toilet, bathtub, the first thing the children did when they checked in was to take a bath, they enjoyed it more than us Environment: The inn is located in the ancient city, just in front of the Mu Mansion, very close to Zhongyi Food Street, but quiet in the bustling city, very comfortable, very warm, no need to climb hills and stairs to walk in, very convenient. Service: The proprietress is super nice and beautiful. She will contact in advance to confirm the check-in time, ask about the means of transportation to Lijiang, whether a special car is needed, and whether help with luggage is needed. When you arrive at Zhongyi Food Street, someone will come out to pick up the luggage, and pick up the children in the car and send them to the inn. After checking in, she will ask if you need sugar water and introduce the ancient city food. I am really satisfied with this trip to Lijiang. The locals are very simple and friendly.

Is very important to choose hotel with oxygen supply and heater floor. I wasn't expect I would got altitude sickness. The guest service staffs and owner are very helpful, to help me with oxygen supply, warm water, and sweets. They are friendly and helpful, warm enough to remember each in house guest. Room and hotel are clean, neat and new. Location is great, just 10 mins to ancient town and nearby 3 to 5 minutes walk you may found local restaurants and rent for tranditional cloths which super convinience. I will recommend to my friend and family, and my next visit.

I got to know this hotel through some positive review from other guests and decided to try it out as I am not familiar with this place nor do I know anyone here. Glad that I did as it turns out to be an excellent experience. The hotel location is easy to reach as it is just a few minutes walk from the main road and it is right next to the old town (丽江古镇)。It is also right in front of a beautiful pond. The room is clean and tidy, everything works, breakfast porridge is tasty. But most importantly the hotel management are extremely friendly and helpful – this make my trip so much more easy and enjoyable. Ann (冰冰) is an excellent manager who offered me valuable advises and tips on where to go , what to do, what to avoid and she helps me with all my booking for the side trips – I had an easy time visiting the snow mountain (雪山), Lugu Lake (泸沽湖) and watch the magnificent Lijiang performance (丽江千古情) . All arranged and well managed with Ann’s help. This is so important when we heard so much negative comments about travelling to Lijiang from unscrupulous tour operator but here I am glad I met honest and reliable people. So if you are new to Lijiang and need guidance, I strongly recommend staying here and speaking to Ann. She is candid, transparent and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful place but the people makes the entire experience even more wonderful .

I stayed at cure bleeding for 3 nights and met some nice people. The owners took the initiative to message me on trip app before I arrived (which I regrettably missed out) so check your trip inbox when you’re heading over. The lodging is near to the entrance, a few minutes down the slope and can be recognised by their white coloured short wall. The lodging is family run and Boss’s brother personally came to fetch my friend and I from the entrance. He helped carried our luggage to the lodging (thank you!) Room is cosy with some automated features (e.g offing of lights using voice command). Pretty nice if you just want to lounge in the room after walking the ancient city. The toilet comes with heated toilet seats with an auto flush system. The lodging provides bathroom slippers to use as the toilet floor gets wet after bathing. Fruits, tea and snacks provided upon arrival (see photo) Personally prefer their mee xian for breakfast, my day 3’s meexian was good! Boss invited me to join for a drink at the front yard on one of the nights and I got to know some nice people- it’s safe, the boss made it a point to see that I reached my room safely. To note: the naxi photoshoot is outsourced to a company. It is complimentary with the stay in terms of the shoot plus the make up but they charge for the photos (1 free photo per room, 50rmb for each subsequent photo). We were told at the start and decided to continue for the experience. Managed to do a comfortable and economical share ride back to Dali through arrangements made by the inn. Overall, there is a personal touch to this inn. Will come again!

The hotel's location is quite perfect. It is right at the border of Lijiang old town such that you just need to step outside to start exploration but it is also quiet to escape the busy streets for a good night's rest. Also, I'm a sucker for dumplings and there are some really nice places to get them in the direct vicinity. The people welcomed us with some tea and happily answered all of our questions about where to go and what to do. And the room... we felt quite tempted to just ignore the city and stay in our bathtub or just sit on our lovely balcony. TLDR: definitely worth visiting=)

Xiao Shen: The guy is super nice. He arranged our itinerary very well and even invited us to drink the Pu'er tea he brewed himself. Xiao Xie: Service: He will recommend itineraries for us and give us very good suggestions. He is also very nice (he is indeed a handsome guy) hahahaha~ The guy is also very worried that we will be cheated, and he always follows up with us😆 The water bottle is also free. You can take it whenever you need it👍 Drinking tea is the guy's hobby. As long as he is here, you basically have a hot tea refill😎 Because of the good service, the original stay was only three days and two nights, but it was extended to five days and four nights😆 Cats: There are two very cute cats, which are very lively. If you like to pet cats, you can come over (wealth and treasure are waiting for you😺) Hygiene: Very clean. If you need a cleaning lady to come into the room to clean, you can let the guy know and he will arrange it immediately! The aunt is also very friendly~ Location : It is really convenient. The B&B has a back door (just behind the Ancient City Management Committee bus stop), and is very friendly to people with big luggage! #The guy will also help you push and carry your luggage😆# As for the front door of the B&B, just walk straight down and you will be in the ancient city, which is very convenient👍 Facilities: There are also heating and cooling in the room. If you want to be warm, you can choose heating, and if you want to be cold, just turn on cooling👍The toilet🚽 is self-powered (a plus point) and there is also a screen to watch (although I didn't turn it on at all🤣) If there are dirty clothes, the B&B also provides a washing machine for you to wash (free✅), and then you can hang the clothes on the rack next to the terrace, and they will dry quickly👍 Maximum full stars: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5🌟) **But I give two more🌟 (so it's 7🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) Super good service, location very good, definitely recommended 💪
