The room has a charming, antique feel with a distinctive incense aroma, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. There's even a calligraphy experience available in the room. The mattress is very comfortable, and everything is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and the pastries were particularly delicious. I also want to thank the hotel staff for providing me with an extra complimentary breakfast.

During my recent stay, the front desk staff, Xiao Wang, was incredibly warm and attentive. The check-in and check-out process was efficient and quick, and she was patient and thorough in her communication, answering all our questions with kindness and politeness. I stayed in a mountain view room, and the hotel package I bought was incredibly good value. It included a buffet dinner for two, where we had hairy crabs and lots of seafood – I might have eaten a bit too much, haha. The breakfast buffet was also very generous, with excellent pastries and delicious freshly made 'shou zhua bing' (hand-grabbed pancakes). The beef noodles were good too. Getting around was super convenient, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. I went to Lingyin Temple early in the morning and then to West Lake in the evening – a fantastic experience!

This hotel used to be an InterContinental (perhaps a benchmark in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region), but after the InterContinental brand pulled out, the owner operated it independently under the name 'Free InterContinental Palace'. After the InterContinental de-branding, the hotel significantly increased its recreational activities, adding tennis courts, sound healing, and more. Among the resort hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area, places like the Xihu State Guest House and Fuchun Resort are quite large, but this hotel's actual scale is even more astonishing. Besides the hotel's own area, the entire Xianshan Peninsula is essentially its public space: in early summer, there are bayberry orchards, and in autumn, the mountains are covered with tangerine trees. You can hike to the top of the back mountain (about 2-3 km), and there's a hidden small 'canyon' in the mountains. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there's a 'farmhouse restaurant' next door (Xianshan Restaurant). A few hundred meters from the entrance is the lighthouse area, which used to be a pebble beach and has now been converted into a coffee shop/bar. As for the hotel's own hardware, it's roughly on par with the international resort hotels in Yalong Bay around 2010-2012 (Qiandao Lake InterContinental/Hilton/Sheraton all opened around the same time). It's very well-maintained, old but not dilapidated. Compared to the minimalist, trendy new hotels of the past two years, hotels from this period have much more character. Most people come to Qiandao Lake to escape the summer heat, but October-November is when Xianshan Peninsula is at its most beautiful. The tangerines are ripe, the lake water is exceptionally blue on crisp, clear days, and by November, a few ginkgo trees in the hotel turn golden. This hotel also has some special advantages: for example, breakfast is served until 11 AM and includes a dedicated children's dining area. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there's a late-night canteen offering various snacks and instant noodles from all over the world (literally every type of noodle from everywhere!). The concierge team's service is also very attentive and prompt. What can I say? Perfect weather, perfect hotel – 100 out of 10 points! 🥰

I've stayed here many times, and the service is always excellent. This time, it was a family trip, and my husband arrived at the hotel first. The hotel was busy, but the staff helped upgrade our room type. Special thanks to Benson & Sandy for their thoughtful service. The concierge staff were also very proactive in helping with our golf bags and luggage. I'll definitely be back for my next golf trip!

I really loved this guesthouse, especially its common areas. The library, in particular, stood out with its striking spatial design and vibrant color scheme, creating a wonderfully spacious and bright atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a book, order a coffee, and easily spend an entire afternoon. The host was also incredibly hospitable! I definitely hope to visit again next time!

The room was overall very comfortable, impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, with attractions like Hupao (Tiger Spring) and Leifeng Pagoda both within easy reach. The front desk staff were also thoughtful enough to recommend great sightseeing routes. The guesthouse features its own private garden, offering a wonderfully relaxing and pleasant environment that the kids absolutely loved. Most importantly, the host provided fresh Hupao spring water and Longjing tea. After a whole day of walking, coming back to brew some tea while listening to the rain outside delivered absolute emotional value and peak relaxation. After we got back, the owner even thoughtfully mailed us two cans of tea leaves, which truly touched us. The host cares about much more than just your stay during the visit. 👍

The biggest highlight of the inn is its artistic space – the entire area is tastefully decorated, making you feel very relaxed, just like being at home. But what surprised me most was the room. Honestly, I've only ever seen such perfect rooms in pictures. Clean, comfortable, and every detail meticulously arranged. I had a wonderfully happy stay; it was simply impeccable. Breakfast also left me very satisfied. While the variety wasn't extensive, it was more European-style, and the condiments were served separately, allowing you to add them to your taste – unlike street food where a whole bunch is just sprinkled on directly. For a foreign tourist like me, who can't eat too much spicy food, this was a very thoughtful touch. A special thank you goes to Ms. Qian Wei at the front desk. She was incredibly warm and patient, helping me resolve various small issues during my stay, which made me, a foreign tourist, feel particularly welcome. Although there was a language barrier, her smile and service attitude left a lasting impression on me. If you're coming to this city and looking for a unique place to stay that isn't run-of-the-mill, I highly recommend TongAn Inn. The environment is quiet and the activities are abundant. The mountain air is great, and there are golf carts to take you anywhere within the valley. This time, the pre-sale package included dining, spa, and a travel photoshoot, making it even more comprehensive and cost-effective. The room was spacious, and with the 3-day, 2-night package, you essentially didn't need any extra expenses to have a great time eating, drinking, and playing. The New Rui travel photography was also excellent; it was efficient, unlike the rushed schedules you find in city photoshoots. Outdoor natural light photography creates a different effect than indoor lighting, leading to more natural interactions. If you're driving, you can also visit Naked Castle for free. Although the Land Rover off-road experience for the entire route is charged, it's a very special experience and I personally think it's well worth it. The three days and two nights were very fulfilling, and the weather in September and October was also good. If there's a similar package next time, I'll definitely come again.

Traveling with elderly family members, the hotel is super convenient as it is located right at Exit B of Fengqi Road subway station. Wulin Night Market is just behind the hotel, and walking straight through the market leads directly to the West Lake. Turning left takes you to the musical fountain, and walking straight leads to the Broken Bridge—location is amazing! The buffet breakfast on the 12th floor offers a great variety, and the staff are all warm and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay here again next year. Turning right and walking straight leads to Yintai N77, making getting around anywhere very easy. Also, the restaurant terrace is an absolute must-visit spot for taking photos!
