Romantic Hotels in Zhejiang, China

Hotel is very well located to the West Lake. Approx 15 mins walk. It is close to the night market and also a number of food halls. There is a coffee shop right downstairs on the right hand side of the hotel which makes great coffee. There is also 7/11 shop. Metro is also downstairs less than a min walk away. First impression checking in wasn’t great - English on checking in was difficult. Probably due to slight language barrier felt not as warmly welcomed as other hotels. I expect hotels that receive foreigners should have basic level check in. They also were very particular on how who should go into each of the three rooms but I said it we will sort this out between us. After that it was fine we went to our rooms. Rooms are quite outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially with handles coming loose. Rooms come with bath robes, tooth brush, toothpaste, combs, Ted Baker toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and slippers. They also provide water bottles daily and there are ones you can take free as you head out towards the lift which is a nice touch. The hotel housekeeping staff were the best despite language barrier they were very polite, courteous and professional. Very helpful as well. There was a housekeeping lady who came to help us with wifi as we did not have a China mobile number and she also knew we had three rooms booked. She helped with two of the rooms and asked if the other room needed help but they didn’t. There isn’t much of a place where guest can relax as they come back to the hotel. There is a small space on the left hand side as you enter the hotel which has a football table, toy dispenser machines, limited seating area. For anyone who wants good location to West Lake I would say this is it. However I think there are better hotels out there. Closeness to food and restaurants is a bonus. Rooms are clean but could do with an upgrade. It’s weird to have a window in the shower room that is directly onto the room as doesn’t give much privacy if all lights on. Overall 8/10

I had a fantastic stay at Wuzhen Tong'an Inn. The good location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made my trip memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to return in the future.

Stayed for 2 nights here. I didn't like the earlier room and was changed to an upper floor room. This time the room was excellent. Clean, spacious, and with a large well equipped bath room. Location is good. Breakfast was decent. The front desk guy 小祝 was quite helpful. He forwarded me my guest bill as I forgot to request for it when I check out.

The Merchant Marco is my go-to hotel whenever in Hangzhou. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, & a location that can't be beaten for tourists - fit with an excellent view from the roof terrace - and all at a more than reason price.

The counter staff 小姜 was very friendly and professional to assist the Check-in in the evening, and in the second date morning during checkout, the male counter staff also friendly and gave free bottle water for my trip. Good experience and I will stay in this hotel again.

Recommend! Convenient location, within walking distance there is everything you need (shops, cafes, shopping center, etc.). The family (2 adults, 2 children, 7 and 3 years old) chose a Deluxe room with an impressive view of the river (two beds). Breakfast is at a good level (surcharge 64 yuan for a child from 6-10 years old). The pool is open until 23:00 (there is a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi), the games child room is open also until 23:00.

The room is quite spacious, yet quite old and the window glazing is not cleaned outside. The sound proofing is quite poor, easily heard the sounds from upper floors

Good hotel located just a 5 minute walk away from Tianyi square. The breakfast area was being renovated when I stayed, so didn't try the breakfast buffet. The room was clean and equipped with all basic amenities. Great value for money!

The service, environment, hygiene, and hotel location are all five stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The only thing is that the room layout is too special, it is a long *****, divided into two rooms, and the living room is very small... there is only one bench + 2 small benches, no place to sit😂Wuzhen is very beautiful, and every inch of land is worth a lot of money. The biggest advantage of living here is that you can see Wuzhen in the early morning when there is no one, which is so comfortable. There is a pier to the right of the hotel. You don’t need to queue up to take a boat there in the morning, which is very convenient

Pros: - Very convenient location, a couple of minutes walk to the West Lake. - The lobby is spotless, check in/out is smooth. - We went with a driver/tour guide (Zhu Feng) associated with the hotel who was very helpful, drove us around the lake for most of a day in pouring rain. - Bellman is very helpful with loading luggage (he needs to work out more though :). - Breakfast is good, but not great. Cons - The room is a little outdated, needs some maintenance work. - The AC is the worst. The one in our room was blasting air all day long, but can barely keep the temperate at 25 C (77 F). - The gym is pretty crappy. Looks like it's been rented out for external use, and it's not very clean or well maintained. Overall got a good bone but needs some management shakeup and remodeling.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, well maintained and it was lovely sitting on the small balcony sofa enjoying the fresh spring air. We took full advantage of the executive lounge which was a little small compared to other hotels I've stayed in, it was also a little noisy with some guests watching videos on their phones without earphones. The lounge itself was nice enough with the option of sitting outside on the small balcony. We also spent a long time at the pool which was rather cold, but indoor pools in China never seem to be heated adequately. The spa facilities were nice with a warm plunge pool and sauna. Overall a really pleased stay nestled on the edge of Xixi wetlands. The ambience of the hotel was warm and welcoming, the decor is lovely. A really nice and relaxing stay.

The B&B is located next to the Botanical Garden. There is a large bamboo forest opposite. The environment is very good. The air is very good when you go out for a walk in the morning. It is 1.2 kilometers away from the West Lake to the Su Causeway and Yuewang Temple Boat Wharf, which is within walking distance. It is three kilometers to Lingyin Temple. There is a bus that goes directly to the Botanical Garden. It is very convenient. You can also rent an electric car for the B&B to go around. There are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The room is very bright with floor-to-ceiling windows, clean and tidy. It is very comfortable and reassuring to live in. The facilities are also very complete. It is quiet in the bustling city, especially the boss is very hospitable. He also gave us some suggestions for eating and playing, and tasted their Longjing tea. Recommended!

Metro station Ding An Road - Exit A. Take escalators up to street level, continue walking straight ahead (you'll see highway bridges to your right), about 250m until the 1st set of traffic lights at a big intersection, continue straight and cross the road and the hotel is about 60m to the left (note hotel name is blocked by some trees). From Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport station 2 best options by Metro, CNY¥7 at 2023: 1) Metro Line 1 some 24 stops to Ding An Road station, 1hr 15min 40km. No need to transfer! 2) Metro Line 19 Airport Express to West Lake Cultural Centre station (6 stops, 45 mins for the 30km journey) and change here to Line 1 Ding An Road (4 stops). 1 hr First stay with Atour X. 7 nights. Great service by all. A special mention to Mr Su Bei, he provided excellent service. Room is a good size, a fantastic mattress and memory foam pillows (ended up buying one as a travel pillow) were the best highlights. Self flushing bidet toilet, cute voiced robot delivery, free bottled water, laundry room, free late night food were other highlights. There's a air purifier in the room to help with cigarette smells - non-smoking hotels aren't non-smoking at all!!! The Chinese government should do something about this. The air conditioning in the room is strong. Going to West Lake take metro to Longxiangqiao 1 stop. There are some restaurants nearby hotel, small supermarket, 15 min walk to Hefang Street where you can do all sorts of food tasting before you buy...

I reserved 3 rooms for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. The hotel receptionist assisted to have all 3 rooms within the same block beside allow us check in at noon instead of 3pm. She even upgraded one of my room with jacuzzi inside too. She recommends the restaurant just next to the hotel which the foods served are yummy super delicious yet affordable price. The rest serves own make salted pork and fish which go well with rice quite a unique delicious taste. I highly recommend this hotel for distance, convenience and services in Wuzhen vacation. Great location, Great services and above all Great value for money.

The room is very big and has a good sense of space. When I checked out, the boss was very polite and gave me a box of local specialty snacks, sister-in-law cakes. I was very satisfied! There is a beautiful view of Wuzhen behind!

The room is clean and sanitary, the B&B environment is beautiful, the owner is enthusiastic, there is a garden, the environment is quiet, and those who like to take pictures can take pictures for half a day. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the entrance of the scenic spot.

Suitable for families with children, especially those traveling with pets, parking is also very convenient. Hotels in Wuzhen Scenic Area do not allow pets, so the choice will be very limited. Qingli has a very good environment, the room is large, there is a large walk-in cloakroom, the overall layout details are attentive, and there is a small garden at the back, which is suitable for families with pets. The geographical location is advantageous, 200 meters away from the South Gate (exit), just in time to come back after visiting Xizha, and not go back (there are too many people in Xizha Scenic Area, it is too tiring to go back and go out again). The owner of the B&B is very friendly and patient, a wonderful journey, thank you

Hotel is located near to Dongzha (east gate) however it is not too far from Xizha (Westgate). The most scenic place in Xizha is approximately 2km away from this hotel. The hotel room is pretty clean and their receptionist are friendly. Upon check in, they gave us complimentary fruits and some amenities like toothbrush and slipper. Breakfast is a buffet style and pretty decent. We visited on November, the temperature is about 16 degree celcius outdoor, so hotel indoor including the room are releasing warm air. Called receptionist to check why our room is so hot, she told me that all the room is releasing warm air during winter. Overall is a pleasant stay!

I specially chose this hotel with an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a 10-minute walk from the Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area. But the surrounding environment of the hotel is very quiet, and it also has a large parking lot, which is very suitable for parent-child self-driving travel. The hotel service staff is very warm and thoughtful. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, they informed me of the tour route and pit avoidance guide. Because they knew that I like swimming and sunbathing, they also helped arrange a room on the first floor with direct access to the swimming pool. It was really a very satisfying accommodation and travel experience.

This hotel is conveniently located about 200m to the east gate entrance. The rooms are big and well maintained. The bed big and comfortable. Since it was off season we got a really good deal. The breakfast even had bread, croissants, butter, jam and drinkable real coffee. There is also a pool which even had water!

The B&B is right at the entrance of the Dongzha Scenic Area. It is very easy to find. You can listen to operas when you go out. There is a stage. I stayed here once a few years ago. It is a famous B&B with a very high cost performance nearby. The key is that the owner of the B&B is very nice. I left my phone at the B&B and kept it for me to pick up when I came back! He is so nice! I recommend everyone to stay here!
