Romantic Hotels in Central Visayas, Philippines

The location is great. Our room is very pleasant with free bottles of water bath robe provided. Our room is overlooking the Newtown beach. Need beach pass which is just a 5 min walk. Newtown beach and amenities are great with Bohemian theme. There are several convenient stores around. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is great. Thanks to the dining staff Mico who gave us an anniversary treat cake during our breakfast. Location is near to our place of worship you No floor towel provided and the small.towel is bi okt worn out no lotion provided. When we get there after our trip Hotel changed name to Mercure maybe thats the reason because it has a Belmont name on the towels Overall we enjoyed our stay and hotel is recommended..

Near to the airport. Around 15-20 minutes only. Service is so good as the staff willing to help me to decorate my room for my husband’s suprise birthday. Thanks to Mr Jed and team. I owe you for my good stay there. Overall, the food is acceptable, but the variety is limited. Additionally, the halal section is placed very close to the pork items, which is not appropriate and may be uncomfortable for Muslim travellers.

Surely it’s very nice 5 star hotel, but still one thing you need to consider before booking. The beach is sandy and zones nearby are quite comfortable to stay in and have a rest on the shore. But if you’re snorkeling fan - not a good option for you. On the photo you can see what happens on low tide. Surely you need to wear coral boots (mandatory!!!) and walk a long distance before reaching point where you can swim and snorkel. Still famous aero plane wreckage can be easily accessed and seen underwater. Coral bottom of the sea quite poor on this beach. But you can see a lot of different starfishes.

So, Only Seed Hotel... hmm, where do I start? The room was okay, but you know when the pics online look way better? Yeah, that. I think they use photos of, like, all their rooms for the standard king, 'cause I was picturing something bigger. The shower was a struggle – was the water even hot? Who knows! The separate toilet and shower thing? Cute idea, but brrr! Still freezing in there because of the gaps up top. And OMG, when my hubby showered, the toilet flooded! The seal is a joke. And the bidet? Let's just say it's like a power washer for your lady bits. Ouch! But hey, free water! That's a win. And the breakfast? Sarap! Not too salty, just right. I was shook when they brought out the whole spread – fruit, coffee, juice... all of it! Tapsilog was on point. They even nailed the eggs – sunnyside up for me, cooked yolk for the hubs. Plus, a whole plate of watermelon each! The juice and coffee were legit. The pool looked Insta-worthy, but we were zonked from our countryside tour. Plus, it closes early. The location's a bit out of the way, but there's street food nearby for when you're tipid. Not the best grub, but busog is busog, right? Would I stay again? Ewan ko. The staff were super nice, though. But no phones in the room? Ugh, gotta trek to the front desk next door for everything. Good service,facility. The location is not that good but can be accessed by taking grab Our fav part is that you can feedung fish while you are snorkeling, which is very interesting Overall, it's a valuable hotel and will visit again if we travel to cebu again 😊

I enjoyed my stay in Crimson Resort, the room is big and spacious for families, the staff are friendly and well trained, the four pools are huge and fun and the daily breakfast is delicious. We especially enjoyed the foam party at adult pool and Crimzone pool, the playground in Crimsone, the seaweed collection activity, snorkeling and the complete amenities of the room. Cebu beach is so pretty. Big shout-out to Clint in breakfast for his very warm service to me and my daughter. Cons: - There was no housekeeping done on 2nd day of my stay which was not informed to me in advance, I think that was not professional. - They don’t allow food delivery in but the food in the resort is not that delicious to be had everyday (I tried sisig, inasal and pizza). - You need grab or taxi to go out to Cebu city (and face the jam) as the shuttle only runs 3x a day, so it’s not convenient if you want to explore Cebu.

I am a budget traveler but really tried staying at Coco Grove for the experience and it did not disappoint. Worth every penny, the food was so so so good, the staff were kind and approachable, amenities are the best most especially the complimentary snorkel at Tubod Marine Sanctuary, and the facility as a whole is soo beautiful. Will definitely comeback.

Great for a weekend gateway Beach looks very nice. Beach restaurant, bar and view are great, however we visited it during Halloween evening and instead of chilling vibe there was loud sound of horror movies that no one watched in that moment. Unfortunately we left due to this. Pizza restaurant is super nice with a la carte menu, team’s congratulations for guests bdays are fun. Pizza, pasta, zucchini with feta are in the top. The only recommendation is to have a faster service, many dishes after oven waited for waiters. Overall we enjoyed our stay even time was very limited

There is a free airport pickup and drop off service provided by this hotel. So, I booked on my first day and the last day in cebu. I stayed alone. The hotel is not big like a 2 story building. My room was located on the ground floor, near the kitchen. I heard noises from the kitchen early in the morning. If you check out before that, the hotel would be perfect. The room is clean . I would use this hotel again.

Location is a bit far from Alona Beach, but the resort offers free shuttle services at fixed times (9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, and 9PM), which is very convenient. The room was clean and spacious. We were initially assigned a room with connecting doors, so we could hear noise from the adjacent room. After showing a video of the issue, the staff kindly accommodated our request for a room change. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the other room we booked wasn’t ready by 3PM, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. They allowed us a late check-out though, which we really appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay and great value for the price. Recommended.
