Xixixixi321The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated.
However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons:
1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway.
2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic?
3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken!
4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay.
For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

AifusiliqijiguangRooms here are really in high demand; it was impossible to extend my stay. Aside from a long wait during check-in, everything else was fantastic: the fifth-floor garden is charming both day and night, and the room's crystal chandeliers and carved wall decorations exude the luxury of an economic boom period. Even the chairs are incredibly heavy – they really spared no expense with the materials! However, the curtain on one of the windows in my room was broken and wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of light as soon as it got bright outside. Other than that, everything was perfect!

KKKT ChenStaying at Fraser Suites Dalian was an absolutely fantastic experience! The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and efficient during check-in, and very helpful in guiding me around. The room itself was clean, tidy, and much more spacious than a typical hotel room, with all the home comforts you could ask for.
I really have to commend the housekeeping team – they were so thorough with their cleaning, and always spoke softly when entering the room. When I needed extra amenities last minute, they were delivered to my door very quickly. You can really feel their dedication in every detail. My entire stay was comfortable and reassuring. From the front office to housekeeping, all the staff were incredibly reliable. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to when I'm back in Dalian.

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel.
Service: Good.
The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children.
It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'.

Guest UserThis hotel is right by the sea, and the location is truly excellent. The ocean is literally at your doorstep, and you can walk a few steps to a swimming beach. The room was very spacious too. We stayed for four days, and the front desk even upgraded us to an executive suite. The breakfast was also good, with Dalian sea prawns and delicious cold dishes. The only downside was the elevators. The system assigns which elevator you take, and first-time visitors have no idea how it works. This often leads to a lot of people getting stuck downstairs, and almost everyone complains about it. I hope the hotel can improve this.

The hotel and the room are more beautiful than in the photo. Amazing interior, incredible terrace, helpful girls at the reception, cute dog. We were lucky with the weather, the view is beautiful. The only negative is that it was difficult for us to explain ourselves, Russian guests rarely visit the hotel 🙈 There is a kettle and mugs in the room, but no tea or sugar, and we were not allowed to order a kettle of tea for a fee in the room. There is no cutlery either, but you can get it at the reception/in the shared kitchen) I would like to live in this place longer!!! An incredibly colorful area and hotel. If we are in Dalian again, we will definitely stay. We recommend it!!!

Guest UserI visited Dalian with my child and stayed at three hotels over four days. This one was by far the most disappointing.
First, the location is indeed excellent. If you like the Xinghai Square area, this is a great place to stay. However, during peak season, try to avoid taking taxis at night as traffic gets really congested. That said, it's lovely to stroll around from early evening onwards. Further in, there are many stalls and even a beer festival. You can also wander around the vicinity, ride bumper cars, or take a ride on the illuminated boats. When you're tired, it’s convenient to walk just a short distance back to the hotel to rest.
Secondly, for dining, there's a KFC and Starbucks nearby, as well as a popular internet-famous Xiding Dumpling restaurant (when I passed by around 3 pm, there was already a long queue; during meal times, scalpers were selling queue numbers). If you walk a bit further, there are also hotpot, Western restaurants, and home-style cooking options – plenty to choose from.
The hotel's 46th-floor restaurant was genuinely good. Personally, I don't think ordering roast duck is necessary; the other dishes are also delicious. The stir-fried okra with foie gras was absolutely stunning. I don't know the name of the male manager who took our order, but he had a great attitude. He offered suggestions when we were ordering and checked on our experience after the meal. A small suggestion for the restaurant's ambiance and service: perhaps play some light background music. The whole dining experience felt a bit dry. We happened to catch the bridge light show, but there was no music, making the visual experience not as good as what we saw outdoors the day before. Also, for such a high-end restaurant, wouldn't offering a complimentary fruit platter after the meal be better? Even two slices of watermelon could enhance customer satisfaction.
Another point is the hotel service. I'm giving it two stars because the overall service model aligns with a five-star hotel, but the execution and mindset were disappointing. For nearly twenty years, I've only stayed in five-star hotels or above, and my own living environment is surrounded by several five-star hotels. I frequently visit hotels, whether for coffee, a lobby bar, or the gym. A grand hotel should embody a grand demeanor. During check-in, they emphasized and asked me, ”Are you sure it's just you and your child checking in?” I didn't react immediately, but shortly after entering the room, a male staff member knocked on the door, saying he was delivering welcome fruit. After I opened the door, his eyes darted around, scanning the entire room, almost as if he wanted to come in and look around. He asked if he should bring it in for me or if I'd take it. I didn't think much of it at the time, just found him a bit strange. It wasn't until I closed the door that I realized what had happened: they had already prejudged us, assuming we were more than two people and might be trying to sneak others into the hotel. Ha ha.
I understand that at your price point and location, such situations might occur, but that's no excuse for judging people based on appearances!

Jiangnanyu0704This luxury sea-view king room boasts an unbeatable location. From the window, I could gaze out at Donggang's sea and the Musical Fountain Plaza. Lying in bed, watching the sunrise paint the sky with early morning ferries passing by, the floor-to-ceiling window felt like a living painting! To the right, the yacht marina offered views of white yachts sailing into the distance and returning against a backdrop of blue skies and seas. The room itself was spacious and bright, and both the towels and bedding were impeccably clean. The hotel offers two breakfast options. The 38th-floor sea-view restaurant, while not having a huge variety, more than makes up for it with its stunning views. The noodles were good, the beef brisket was tender and flavorful, and the onsen egg was delicious. Alternatively, there's the breakfast restaurant on the first floor, shared with the adjacent Hilton, which is directly accessible from the lobby. This one has an incredibly extensive selection. Unlike the quiet elegance of the 38th-floor restaurant, this spot is bustling with life and offers an amazing array of choices, especially Chinese dim sum – lamb soup, jianbing guozi (savory crepes), tofu pudding, noodles… Western options are also plentiful, with croissants that were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and rich with buttery flavor, plus three espresso machines for fresh coffee. Beyond the excellent facilities, the front desk staff and the doormen were all incredibly friendly and helpful! 👍🏻

Guest UserMy stay at the Xulailai Qixi Seaview Resort Hotel during my trip to Dalian was an exceptionally great experience. The hotel's location is superb; I could see the vast ocean right from my window. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening was breathtaking, offering expansive views and a wonderful ambiance.
The room itself was spotless and tidy, with a fresh and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities were complete, with stable hot water supply in the bathroom and all necessary toiletries provided. The staff were warm and friendly, responding to requests promptly and thoughtfully. They handled inquiries about travel and luggage storage with great care.
The surrounding area offers convenient access for sightseeing; it's not far from seaside attractions, making walks and exploring very easy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Dalian.

Guest UserThere was no one at the front desk when I arrived in the evening; I had to call them to check me in, which wasn't a great experience overall. The room was okay, except for the bathroom door, which was a bit odd – completely transparent and took up a lot of space when closing; the design was unreasonable. They provided fruit in the room.
The breakfast environment was poor; it was shared with a seafood restaurant, very noisy. People were eating breakfast here while seafood was being delivered there. Breakfast consisted of home-style dishes, and the taste was acceptable. Don't choose this hotel if you don't have a car; it's inconvenient. The sea view from the first-floor terrace was indeed beautiful.
