Stayed here for 2 nights, but in two different rooms, so I got to experience both. Overall, the hotel has a great view and a generally comfortable stay. It is a bit far from most main attractions, although it is relatively close to the railway station. There is a nearby bus station (Line 6), but getting to the Ancient Town and other popular areas is still quite far, so using Didi is often the easier option. The lobby also provides tea, coffee, and water, which is a nice touch. My first room was on the 2nd floor and felt very modern and new. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-designed — I really liked this room. My second room was on the 5th floor, and there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite tiring. The staff kindly helped me, which I really appreciated, especially since it was quite a lot of effort. This room had a nice view, but it felt a bit older compared to the first one, especially the bathroom. If I had to choose, I personally preferred the first room for its newer feel and comfort, but both stays were still pleasant in different ways.

When I came to Shangri-La this time, I compared several hotels and finally settled on the Sangzhu Hotel. My stay absolutely exceeded my expectations, so it definitely deserves a five-star rating! The hotel is right inside Dukezong Ancient Town, making the location incredibly convenient. You can walk to the Great Prayer Wheel for a stroll, avoiding the hassle of taking taxis back and forth, and exploring the ancient town's food and shops is super easy. The overall style is that of a charming ******* old house, and the courtyard is clean and elegant with a fantastic photo-op atmosphere. You don't even need to search for good spots; every casual snap turns out great. The biggest surprise was the room amenities. It had diffuse oxygen supply and underfloor heating, which is incredibly friendly for guests worried about altitude sickness. Sleeping at night, I didn't experience any chest tightness or headaches at all. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom clean and tidy, and the facilities weren't old in the slightest – it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were gentle and attentive; they even gave us a Hada (******* ceremonial scarf) upon check-in. They were always available for any questions and proactively recommended reliable local tour routes, helping us avoid many potential pitfalls. The breakfast selection was well-balanced, offering both local specialties and standard light meals, and the taste was excellent. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I couldn't find any faults with the environment, service, or facilities. This is my top choice for accommodation when visiting Shangri-La, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back.

Our first stop in Dali was Mo Travel, and the young lady who checked us in was incredibly patient. She gave us great advice on where to eat and what to do, and every evening we received a message from the butler about the complimentary sweet soup, which was a really thoughtful touch. The young lady also showed us to our room and meticulously explained all the facilities, including how to use the shower. The entire room was equipped with smart home features, and we could see the mountains just by opening the curtains. The room was spotless; even someone as particular about cleanliness as me found it excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious! We had them both mornings. Our trip was a bit rushed this time, and we spent all day out exploring, so we didn't get a chance to experience the guesthouse's tea room or bar. However, the overall environment of the guesthouse was fantastic. And I absolutely adored Shi Yi and Huan Xi (the dogs)! There was also a cat, but I didn't get a chance to play with it. Kudos to the young lady and gentleman who looked after us!

By Erhai Lake, I live my day like a slow poem... No need to chase the scenery, I wake up right in it 🌿 In the morning, light peeks through the curtains, softly landing on my pillow. I sit by the window with a cup of coffee, watching Erhai Lake slowly awaken. The breeze is gentle, the water shimmers serenely, as if breathing for me~~ Breakfast 🍳 is a double delight for both sight and taste— Exquisite dishes transform in the play of light and shadow. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, clouds drift slowly, and people sit at leisure. 🏡 Some memorable glimpses: · Ground floor seaside garden: Green lawn, Cangshan mountains, and Erhai Lake, pristine like a newborn dream. · Swing lobby: 180-degree sea view. No need to compete with the scenery, it's already the perfect composition.

This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali. It's designed with a beautiful garden aesthetic, and the air is just amazing. The whole hotel feels like a grand estate. The staff are so warm and attentive. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive: a book bar, a regular bar, a sports hall, a restaurant, and a gym (with tons of equipment, which I, as someone who works out daily, absolutely loved!). What I want to praise most about the room is the incredibly spacious shower area, with excellent wet/dry separation. I really love this room type. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and they even have卡通餐盘 (cartoon-themed plates) – so thoughtful for families traveling with children!

While Dali boasts a mature scene for B&Bs and boutique hotels, I opted for a chain hotel this time. Pullman is considered one of Dali's flagship hotels (I initially wanted to try the newly opened Dali EDITION, but it wasn't open yet). Overall, the attention to detail was excellent. The hotel is located downtown, right by the濱海大道 (Binhai Avenue), with plenty of dining options nearby. For around 1000 RMB, it includes a mini-bar (though with limited selections) and turndown service. The showerhead faces the wall, which was a nice touch. It also offers free parking and direct elevator access to the lobby – these small details really stood out. Of course, there were a few minor downsides: the bathroom scale needed new batteries, and while breakfast was varied and tasty, there was no host to seat guests. Overall, though, it was very well done. A special mention goes to our butler, Coco, who was incredibly gentle and attentive, and promptly resolved any issues we had. This was a truly memorable trip… I haven't left a review in a long time, but I wanted to share my experience right away.

The location of the Erhai Sea is very comfortable, there are singers singing, listening to the song in the evening, watching the sunset, the floor-to-ceiling windows face the lake, the distant mountains and blue sky, the view is wide and not crowded. The decoration of the store is retro and simple, the tables and chairs are loosely placed and will not be noisy. The outdoor water-front seat can blow the lake breeze, and the green plants are very beautiful. Sitting quietly and watching the lake in a daze is particularly relaxing, the environment is clean and quiet, suitable for sitting in a leisurely place, the viewing experience is really good. When you come to Dali to live in the sea view hotel, I recommend their home 😊😊

I booked this guesthouse randomly for my trip, and it totally exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely unbeatable – just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area entrance. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors, windowsills, and even the bathroom grout were spotless. The bedding was fluffy and pristine, with no dust or odd smells. All the appliances and furniture inside looked quite new. The air conditioning and toiletries were well-stocked, and it had all the amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay. The host was very kind, provided detailed check-in instructions, and patiently guided me when I couldn't find the place. Any requests I had during my stay were promptly addressed. The environment is quiet and pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

Our 'butler service' means you get a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service from the moment you check in. They'll contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time, arrange shuttle pick-up, and send friendly reminders about breakfast times and other important notes via group chat. Facilities: The hairdryer's airflow is really weak, not even as strong as the wind off Erhai Lake! The bedside lamp isn't working, but everything else is okay. Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and no strange smells – pretty good. Environment: The space is large and bright. My only complaint is the view from the window isn't great. Service: The service is excellent; anything we needed was delivered to the room very quickly, and the breakfast tasted good. Honestly, the view from the guest room window is quite disappointing.
