Ocean View Hotels in Madeira, Portugal

Whilst arriving at the Don Pedro past midnight on the 22nd of June we were gasping for a cup of tea lovely kettle and cups in the room but no teabags upon asking at Reception no none available anyway just a suggestion it would be good to have a couple in the room for arrival, thank you

As a Ronaldo fan, you must stay in this hotel! The decoration style of the hotel is very cool, and the design of the corridor is also very handsome! Above the bed there are paintings of Ronaldo’s career from childhood to adulthood, which is great! You can swim and bask in the sun on the hotel's terrace. Opposite is the sea and cruise ships. There are also jerseys signed by Ronaldo in the hotel. Ronaldo's museum is next to the hotel. Guests staying at the hotel can get tickets to the museum for free at the front desk, siu! ! !

Bardzo dobry tani hotel. Położony w pobliżu lotniska, przystanek autobusowy naprzeciwko hotelu. Można dojechać do centrum Funchal, a stamtąd w innym kierunku. Śniadanie za małą dopłatą, jak dla mnie smaczne - tzw kontynentalne, ale każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Można dokupić obiady za 25€/os. Basen wewnętrzny i zewnętrzny. Bar koło basenu, ręczniki kąpielowe przy barze. Pokoje czyste i komfortowe, obsługa miła i pomocna. Jeżeli będę wracał na Maderę z pewnością wybiorę ten hotel. Klimatyzacja w pokoju, choć nie używałem. Mogę z pewnością polecić ten hotel.

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

The suites are located on southern beach ***** of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again

Great hotel! We really enjoyed our holiday at the hotel. It's a whole city! There's a promenade and several swimming pools. The food is top notch! You can have a buffet, you can go to restaurants, and there's even a coffee shop with delicious coffee! We spent our evenings at the bar, drinking delicious cocktails and dancing. There's a beautiful trail nearby - Cape Sao Lourenco. There's a shuttle to Funchal, which is very convenient. We'll definitely come back again!

we have stayed here for 5 nights and the breakfast choice was as great as we have thought after reading the reviews simply because they stick to just fixed items whereas when we stayed in 5 stars hotels in asia, there's always slight difference of options daily for breakfast. the stay was ok, I would stay it feels more like a good 4 stars than a true 5 stars

On the whole, it’s a really great hotel at the price. The rooms are spacious and clean.The staff were really helpful in organising things for my partners birthday and really went the extra step to make our trip special. Can’t fault the service. My only gripes are that you can’t set the you can’t set up the aircon yourself in the rooms and the gym is limited.

Thanks to the beautiful and enthusiastic Miss Erica at the front desk, we have a perfect experience. Everything is very beautiful. The location of the hotel is super good. There are many delicious restaurants when you go out. There are four swimming pools here, one of which has a swimming pool directly to the sea. It’s so beautiful. ～ Very cost-effective

Very nice, beautiful view. But for 150 rooms, there's only one tiny pair of elevators. Sometimes you have to wait 5 minutes for one. And it's even longer during peak season.
