I checked in mainly for the convenience of my connecting flight the next morning, as the hotel is located inside the passenger terminal, and I could see planes taking off and landing from my room without experiencing any noise. The room facilities were average. It would have been more thoughtful to have an electric kettle.

Hotel staff are friendly, the hotel and room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good with bottomless coffee. My room was clean but the shower sucked, and the plate glass shower doors were jammed and very difficult to move, also lacked an air vent. The room didn’t have any air conditioning and the thermostat on the wall didn’t control anything!??

Good stay. Pool and hot tub were great. A few of the other amenities could use attention, though. One of the washing machines wasn’t working, and breakfast was cold. There is also an omelette station that apparently only operates when it’s not “slow season” The service is always incredible, and the hotel location and cleanliness was top notch. Maybe just call ahead when you’re booking so you know what to expect for breakfast. We would stay again

My fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily which was nice returning to a tidy clean room. Coffee and tea were replenished daily which was great. I will highly recommend to friends and family. The hotel was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was provided to the airport which was convenient. I liked the lobby display ready for the 2015 Calgary Stampede from July 1st 2025 for ten days.

The hotel was very clean. Our room had a king size bed and a mini fridge and a very clean bathroom. There was a number of events with lots of teenagers and they put us in the far end and we never heard anything from anyone. We slept great . Breakfast had a ride ran of cereals, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and fruit, fruits, as well as yogurt, etc. it was as good as a busy place could Have. If need be, we would stay there again

The hotel is in a shopping center in the south of the city, surrounded by Safeway, Walmart, McDonald's is very convenient. There is also a Japanese Gardon nearby that is very good but did not go. The hotel has free parking and an indoor swimming pool. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast sausage egg bread juice yogurt milk fruit. It's good to sleep at night. Disadvantages The air conditioner is loud and affects rest.

Clean and tidy room The breakfast was very simple, just eggs, potato chips and bread, and there was not much space. I was a little disappointed and had to eat out again. The hair dryer stops after 2 minutes and I can’t continue blowing. The only advantage is that it is very close to West Edmonton Mall.

What I like:  the location  It is easy to go to Lake Louis by public bus no 11  from hotel, about 10 minutes. Prepare exact coins as there is no change ($2) A private bus going to Lake Moraine is just at the front door. Swimming pool is of decent size and spa are good facilities after a day’s hike. The front desk staff Honey is very helpful and friendly, she is very patient and customer oriented. Sweetly is nice and efficient. However, all other front desk staff who I encounter are not engaging and lack of enthusiasm.  Food in Pizza and pasta bar is pretty good. What I don’t like: Room size is small. Our room is deluxe Queen room.  We can’t even open our suitcase.  In the main building, rooms directly facing the swimming pool is not private as people in the spa can see you.  Kettle is old and not cordless, only provide paper cups in the room.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for three nights. While the location is undeniably beautiful and there were a few memorable moments during our stay, the overall service experience unfortunately did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel at this price point. When we arrived on the first day, check-in felt somewhat rushed. The young female staff member assisting us (an Australian staff member) informed us that our room was not ready yet, which we understood as we had arrived a little early. However, she did not walk us through the hotel facilities, available activities, or provide much orientation to the property. Since the hotel is quite large, a quick overview would have been helpful for first-time guests. We had a spa booking at the nearby Fairmont Spa at the Basin, and because our room wasn’t ready, we were advised that we would need to change there. That was a bit inconvenient as we had been hoping to freshen up in our room before heading to the spa. We were given our room key cards anyway, but when we went upstairs to try accessing the room, the key cards didn’t work. We had to come back down to reception again to have a new set of cards issued, which added further inconvenience. Later that evening, I called to request fresh milk for tea. Eventually, milk was delivered later, which I appreciated. On the second day, housekeeping was another area where things fell short. By around 1:00 pm our room still hadn’t been serviced, so I called to request housekeeping. When we returned at around 5:00 pm, the room appeared to be only partially cleaned. Glasses and mugs were still dirty, and the tea bags and coffee pods had not been refilled. I had to call again to ask for the room to be properly tidied up. We also stopped by the outdoor bar one evening and ordered hot alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, it arrived only lukewarm. It appeared to have been pre-made and the staff simply poured it from a thermos rather than preparing it fresh. Considering it cost around $25, it didn’t feel particularly worth the price. On the third night of our stay, the power in our room went out. As a result, we were unable to watch TV or charge any of our devices. Since the phone in the room was not working, my partner had to go to the front desk to report the issue. After waiting for nearly an hour, a technician eventually came to our room and informed us that the power would be restored soon. Considering the price of the stay, I expected a more consistent level of service and attention to detail. Additionally, the bathroom was smaller than I anticipated for a property of this caliber. I had originally planned to stay at Fairmont properties in Quebec and Ottawa over the next two weeks, but this experience has made me reconsider. That said, there were still some highlights during our visit. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Walliser Stube, which was a lovely experience overall. The steak and chicken dishes were slightly on the salty side, but the staff were attentive and kindly offered complimentary drinks to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. We were also given some honey, which was a thoughtful touch. One of the best parts of the trip was the snowshoeing walk organized by the hotel. Our guide, Kelvin, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable. It ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, the property itself is stunning and the activities are well worth experiencing. However, given the premium price point, I was expecting a higher and more consistent standard of service throughout the stay.

GGuest UserThe front desk was very accommodating and approachable. They were organized as there are lists of what we can do and how we can go there. There’s also a free shuttle we could use so accessing public transport was not a problem. However, when we went in the hotel room there was some trash left in the trash can. It’s not much of a problem but it kind of reflects to their housekeeping system in a way. Generally, it was clean. Another concern was that they told us we will receive the security deposit after 5-10 days but we weren’t able to get it. I’ll try to contact them about it but they told us before we left that it was already processed (this was December 18) and until now (December 26) we are still waiting.

GGuest UserNot our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today! It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so  minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered. Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”. After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card. Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge. “No apologies or thank you for staying with us”. Disappointing. Side note - Service in the casino was great - including the restaurant.

SSyed MWe stayed here for one night. The room was bright and spacious. I liked the sliding shower door. Usually hotels have curtains that get wet and sometimes water leaks outside. The bathroom was small but clean with good lighting. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. The room window was nice and big. The pool and hot tub was a great amenity. The pool place had nice big windows with a great view. I loved the shower/restroom (with a bench) by the pool which made it convenient to shower and change before heading back to the room. They also provided pool towels. The location was conveniently located near restaurants and maligne canyon (which was closed due to the wild fire). Breakfast wasn’t included. I would recommend staying here.

GGuest UserGreat location, close to Tim Hortons, McDonalds, gas station, grocery site etc. Close to highway. Great views. Service at checkin very good, helpful and friendly. Fantastic pool area that my child loved.  Good room amenities. Breakfast ok, we’ve had much better during our trip. Very noisy due to rooms having hard floors. Walls thin as could hear voices everywhere, lots of child noise. WiFi signal was terrible and was constantly dropping out. Would stay again for the great location.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful two-night stay in Banff. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well organized. After long days enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, it was the perfect place to relax. A special thank you to Marilyn, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her professionalism and kindness made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, close to downtown Banff and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Banff.

TTravel KweenWe had a large family room in the basement that was conveniently located next to the spa. Our check in was super friendly and the room was large and very spacious. The kitchen was lovely with lots of special touches. We had a few issues with the room, we booked a family room bath tub and there was no tub. Unfortunately the drain in the shower was disgusting, and the tiles were broken, we asked for another room but they had none available. We were told we could shower in the spa room. The spa wasn’t working and when we got in the shower they’d run out of shower gel. The sofa bed isn’t suitable for anyone as it’s very uncomfortable. Our very small teenager tried to sleep on it and she felt every spring. Despite our issues I would recommend this hotel as the location was good, staff were lovely and the breakfast was decent.
