This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.

We chose Wuyi Chunbo because of its Song Dynasty style. The hotel facilities are quite good, though I couldn't find the Wi-Fi password in the room and had to ask the front desk. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, with small bridges, flowing water, and lush trees. There are shuttle buggies available for getting around. I must mention that there are call buttons at every entrance and exit, making it very convenient to request a ride! The hotel's hygiene is excellent! The bedding was very clean, white, and comfortable. From check-in to check-out, the service was excellent throughout! Our personal butler added us on WeChat as soon as we arrived. Since we were going to visit the Wuyi Mountain scenic area, the butler arranged for our luggage to be delivered to our room, saving us a lot of hassle. After our tour, we asked the butler for local food recommendations, which were also delicious and left my family very satisfied! The hotel breakfast was rich and varied, and they even had a good black chicken soup. ☺️ Overall, our stay was very satisfying! Wuyi Chunbo is definitely a great choice for a weekend getaway or a vacation.

From check-in to check-out, the whole process was gentle and efficient, with super fast responses to requests and excellent attention to detail. 2️⃣ Breakfast is amazing! Oyster omelets, rice noodle soup, satay noodles… all the local specialties are here! Freshly made and hot, carb lovers will be ecstatic. You don't even need to leave the hotel to try all the Quanzhou flavors, especially recommend the satay noodles. 3️⃣ Location + Value for Money is God-Tier Staying in the core area of the Old City for just over 500 RMB, and it's a five-star standard! It’s super close to West Street and Kaiyuan Temple by foot. Coming during the off-season was definitely a huge win. ❌【Cons, Honestly Speaking】 1️⃣ Dated Decor + Dim Lighting Being an older hotel, the decor style is a bit retro and old-fashioned. The room lighting is really just average; you have to turn on the lights even during the day. Sisters who prefer bright rooms should consider carefully. 2️⃣ Facilities are a bit old While functional, there's still a gap compared to newer hotels.

The Intercontinental Hotel in Fuzhou has an overall business-oriented style, with a rather conservative and conventional decor. The front desk service isn't very proactive; no one greets you unless you speak first, which is a bit lacking for a five-star hotel. The room is very quiet, which is a big plus. It's also convenient to get essential toiletries replenished quickly. Breakfast is quite ample, but there's nothing particularly outstanding. For an older hotel to still stand strong, it definitely has some substance.

Initially, I stayed in a king room, then switched to a twin room. Perhaps because I was used to the first one, I felt the king room had a better and more spacious layout. The twin room was also quite large but felt a bit narrower. Secondly, the bathroom layout in the twin room was smaller, and the shower's maintenance was noticeably worse than in the king room, with water stains and a slight drain odor. However, overall cleanliness was good, and all the beds were on the softer side with very comfortable bedding.

The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Putian! 莆田香格里拉酒店地理位置优越，对面就是大型购物中心，旁边就是花园。房间舒适温馨，服务周到细致，一位名叫（Melvin）的服务员亲自送我们到房间，在大堂碰到我们时会问我们是否需要任何帮助。所有员工都非常友好热情，为我们提供了很多游玩建议。入住类似酒店，我们很少体验到如此卓越的服务。房间的河景令人惊艳。香园餐厅的菜肴美味可口，服务员（Lydia）的服务也无可挑剔，还主动为我们提供了额外的点心和汤。菜量十足，价格也十分合理。强烈推荐给所有来莆田的游客！!

This is my second time in Quanzhou. I saw this hotel when I visited Xunpu Fishing Village and it left a great impression, so I decided to stay here. Oh my goodness, it was amazing! I booked a city view room, but because it was off-season, they upgraded me to a deluxe river view. The view truly blew me away! The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathtub had two floor-to-ceiling windows, offering fantastic views of both the bridge and the Ferris wheel – absolutely stunning. This hotel with its beautiful scenery is a must-stay when you come to Quanzhou. The deluxe river view king room offered expansive views and top-notch facilities. The mattress provided good support but was a little firm, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The JInjiang River scenery outside the window was serene, and the service was professional and efficient. Overall, the experience was precise and solid, meeting brand standards, though it slightly lacked a surprising warmth or unique memorable touch.

Transportation: Very convenient to get around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, right downstairs. Dining: The breakfast is extensive, featuring local Fujian specialties like fish balls and 'bian rou' (wonton-like dumplings), which were delicious. Hygiene: Very clean, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation, making for an excellent experience. Service: The service truly deserves full marks. The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile during check-in, and when we checked out, they thoughtfully gave our child a small toy, knowing we had a little one with us! Our child was thrilled and said they want to come back next time!

Good spread of breakfast except the coffee fromthe coffee machine were very cold. The staff were very helpful to warm it for us . All the staff were very helpful, especially Demi, David, Sandy n Fanny.

The room was very clean, and the surrounding environment was quiet, making for a comfortable stay. There were a few minor issues, but the duty manager handled them very patiently and promptly. Perhaps due to the large number of guests, please improve the details, such as ensuring that toiletries are readily available before guests check in. The location is very convenient for getting around. The hotel offers both a buffet and Chinese food, and the dishes were quite to my liking.
