Honestly, the service team was so inconsistent it was speechless, with too many frustrating examples to list 😅. The concierge downstairs was excellent, and the lobby front desk staff were professional and good. However, the room attendants seemed quite young, possibly untrained, and their compensation might be average. They were completely clueless about the binoculars, laundry service, and minibar 😅. The male staff at the fitness center were very enthusiastic and provided professional and thorough guidance. But the changing room cleaner, an old man, would work right next to you, silently trying to shoo you away, and when asked a question, his tone was sarcastic… My companion mentioned that the female attendants were bad, ignoring her and chatting/playing on their phones nearby. I also observed the same situation during my visit 😅. The afternoon tea at the lounge was quite sparse (though it seemed better for foreigners**), but the evening service and food quality were excellent and attentive. Overall, if I hadn't been unable to book at Dongwan, I wouldn't have bothered going here. Every staff member at breakfast was professional, thumbs up. Some facilities in the executive room were showing their age; the minibar had a rusty smell 😂, likely due to prolonged disuse without replacement, but the room attendant was still enthusiastic. The hallway carpet was old, and the air freshener had an unsettling, somewhat rancid smell. Overall, for 5k a night, it felt worse than some 2k-3k-a-night hotels. To an NPC, this is the most disappointing fan I've ever stayed at. Now I understand why my boss specifically said not to sign a contract with this place.

I first learned about Mandarin Oriental because of Leslie Cheung, and since the Guangzhou property happened to be quite reasonably priced, I booked a one-night stay to experience it. Let's start with the pros: The location is fantastic. It's right above Shipaiqiao Metro Station, with direct access to the hotel from the ground floor of Taikoo Hui. There are all kinds of shopping malls surrounding it, and it's not far from the Guangdong Museum, Canton Tower, and the Guangzhou Museum of Art. The young ladies at the front desk were very warm and greeted us with bright smiles. They promptly changed our room and even helped us with the elevator. There are soft stools inside the elevators, which are convenient for placing bags or for elderly guests to sit on. The room layout is quite regular, the mattress is comfortable, the linens are clean, and they didn't trigger any allergies. The curtains are button-operated and provide great blackout coverage. The bathtub comes with bath salts (though I'd suggest adding disposable bathtub liners). The welcome fruit was varied and tasted great. Now for the cons: The soundproofing in the room is poor. The TV and voices from next door were very clear (the woman next door must have been like a lawyer, talking loudly for hours into the night). There are way too many mirrors in both the lobby and the rooms, making it a bit easy to get disoriented. The body lotion is in a large pump bottle fixed to the vanity, which is inconvenient to use and impossible to take home as a souvenir. The tea is bagged; I'd recommend adding large ceramic mugs with handles or offering loose-leaf tea. Only canned mineral water is provided—it would be better to add bottled water specifically for making tea. All the drinks in the fridge are chargeable; nowadays people care about health and don't drink that many anyway, so they could stock fewer cans and offer them to guests for free. Finally, the highlight was the breakfast. Both the Chinese and Western kitchens were authentic—I polished off two bottles of yogurt alone. If you have time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, you should definitely book a room here.

I know this hotel is undergoing renovations, and some packages for the new room types even include lounge access and five meals a day, which offers excellent value for money! First, regarding the room, the newly renovated style is minimalist and refined. The room feels very spacious and has excellent natural light. The bathroom amenities include Diptyque shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, which was a very pleasant touch. Next, concerning the dining, the five meals included afternoon tea, happy hour, evening dessert and drinks after check-in, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. The afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. Although the food selection for happy hour wasn't extensive, it focused on quality over quantity. I didn't get to enjoy the late-night dessert session, but I learned that it was a chocolate-themed dessert night, and the themes are updated regularly. It's worth noting that no matter when you dine, you can enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Finally, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. All the staff I encountered during this stay were extremely polite and friendly. Especially Miss Sahar at the front desk, the check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and she even followed up afterward to see if I needed any assistance. A male staff member in the lounge also provided very professional service, always greeting us with a warm smile every time we entered the lounge for a meal. Overall, my experience during this stay was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again after the full renovation!

The Hengqin Bay Water Park is extremely fun with a rich variety of water attractions suitable for visitors of all ages. The guest rooms are spacious with a well-designed layout; the bedding is soft, comfortable, and ensures a great night's sleep. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, fully stocked with toiletries, and boast excellent soundproofing for a peaceful night's rest. The hotel offers diverse dining options, and the buffet features a bountiful and delicious selection that caters to various dietary needs. The complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotel and all major Chimelong parks, making getting around completely hassle-free. Service across all departments is attentive, housekeeping is thorough, and any requests are addressed promptly. With top-notch hardware and software, this hotel delivers a fantastic resort experience. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends, it is an absolute top choice when visiting Chimelong in Zhuhai.

Took advantage of the holiday for a short family getaway, and overall, the experience was fantastic. The resort grounds are lush with vegetation, offering charming views at every turn during a leisurely stroll—it’s a delight to explore. The guest room was spacious, meticulously cleaned, and all facilities were well-maintained, making for a very reassuring stay. The photographer from Xiaowan Photography was great at setting a lively mood and excelled at capturing natural, heartwarming moments between family members; even the unedited raw photos turned out wonderful. Our butler, Sini, was exceptionally thoughtful, responding promptly to all our requests. We left in a rush at check-out, and she even helped arrange to have our left-behind clothes shipped to us—thank you so much! The whole family had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable time. It was a truly delightful short vacation, and I sincerely recommend it.

The location is very convenient, with a variety of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within walking distance. There are three check-in counters, but only one was open, and only two front desk staff were handling the guest ahead of me. After more than ten minutes without any progress, I asked if they could speed things up as I had commitments in the afternoon. However, the female receptionist replied very impatiently, saying it would be done soon. Another five minutes passed and it was still not sorted out. Frustrated by this, I asked repeatedly until a supervisor finally stepped in to help. Other services were decent, and they even deliver food deliveries up to the room in the evening. The water temperature in the room felt like it was locked at a single setting; I tried adjusting it every which way without noticing any change in heat—it would have been better if it was slightly warmer. The bedsheets and pillows were very comfortable.

First of all, a huge thank you to the hotel for upgrading me to a Macao sea-view room. The space is very spacious with a distinct, well-designed layout that makes it extremely functional. The bedding is exceptionally soft and comfortable for sleeping. Since I planned to spend the last day of the National Day holiday just resting at the hotel before heading back to work, I was truly able to recharge my batteries. The traditional saber champagne opening added a wonderful sense of ritual, and the staff were all incredibly attentive. True to their word, 24-hour service was responsive to every request, creating a very warm, thoughtful, and considerate experience. The gym equipment is very clean, and there are electronically monitored training devices to help track and optimize workouts, making exercise twice as effective with half the effort. When I went out for late-night snacks and missed the bubble bath service, the butler thoughtfully brought up shower gel and patiently taught me how to set it up myself, which was also a lovely touch. There were still a few minor areas for improvement regarding the room facilities: mainly the hairdryer is a bit outdated, and secondly, there is no electronic/bidet toilet. Of course, these are all minor issues. Since I slept in, I didn't get to try the breakfast. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. Despite a few hiccups along the way, I could still feel the tireless dedication of the hotel staff. Thank you all!

I enjoyed the hotel it is in a good location alive location . Metro and malls right under your nose in a good area . The shipai urban area is right under the nose for those who are interested to see it .Rooms were clean and spacious and have a good Design to them . Which is not often the case in Guangzhou. Breakfast is big but you notice it's made for quantity it's like 7/10 but the dining area is stylish. Biggest highlight for me was the staff very friendly and helpful give a 100 out of 10 service . I want to say big thanks to Yoyo & Tenkey those two were awesome and I wish them the best.
