The location is unbeatable! It's less than 100 steps to Central Street if you just turn right, and about 70 steps to the famous Laochu Restaurant, so you can wait for your table comfortably at the hotel. The service was excellent and very generous. Our room only included one breakfast, but the front desk graciously gifted breakfast for our whole family of three. And the breakfast was fantastic! They had freshly made rice noodles and wontons, as well as Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and roasted lamb chops. The roasted lamb chops tasted even better than some specialized restaurants! The mini-bar was also very generous, even including Kvass. The afternoon tea was great too; we ate so much we couldn't even eat dinner. There's a row of cat houses outside the entrance, and according to the security guard, a cat used to live there, but it's apparently gone for Chinese New Year~

Facilities: Transferring between elevators was a bit of a hassle, but they were reasonably fast. The room temperature was excellent. Hygiene: The cleaning staff did an exceptional job; even a germaphobe couldn't find fault. The nightly turndown service was a nice touch. Ambiance: Typical Ritz-Carlton standard. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast. The small lion display cabinet on the first floor was very unique. The sky lobby has a great location with beautiful views – probably one of the best high-altitude views among hotels in Harbin. Service: There was an issue with my company's booking during check-in, but the front desk staff were consistently very helpful. Since I missed breakfast both days, they offered a BBR coffee experience voucher. The coffee was okay, but the cup was cute, and it came with a branded small scarf cup sleeve. The concierge at the entrance always opened the car door; it's one of the most proactive hotels in China when it comes to greeting guests. I especially liked the room cleaning staff; everyone was gentle and lovely. Amy from Guest Relations followed up appropriately. Staying here pretty much guarantees a worry-free experience in Harbin.

❄️My little one wanted to play in the snow up north, so we embarked on a spontaneous trip to Harbin. It turned out to be an amazing surprise! The sunshine in Yabuli, the heavy snowfall in Snow Town, and the silver-clad scenery along the way – the kids had a blast playing in the snow, and the entire trip was comfortable and carefree. In Harbin, we stayed at the Junyi Hotel Central Street Saint Sophia Cathedral Branch, and I was genuinely impressed by their warm and meticulous service. The front desk staff were always friendly and welcoming. The doormen enthusiastically helped with luggage upon entry and exit. The aunties in the lobby thoughtfully checked if we were dressed warmly enough for the cold. They offered freshly prepared, delicious breakfast for 58 yuan, and afternoon tea with hot and cold drinks and desserts were available at all times. Hot wontons were even delivered at night! When we didn't feel like going out in the evenings, the kids would comfortably read books in the warm restaurant. As for room service, our cosmetics were arranged daily, and our clothes were neatly folded. The 1.8-meter Mousse bed was so warm and inviting, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The food was equally delightful. We first tried Portman, a century-old restaurant, and thought it was fantastic. Today, we went to Black Gem Restaurant, recommended by Li at the front desk. From the steaming, soft, and delicious pre-meal bread to the freshly sliced Iberian ham, every dish was stunning. I never expected Russian-style Western cuisine to be this good. Not to mention the dazzling beauty of the Ice and Snow World, the solemnity of Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the Russian charm of Central Street…❄️✨

Hotel is about 8-10min walk from the bus drop off area. Staff were polite, attended to my request promptly. We booked the family room which can accommodate 7 of us, however there were only 2 towels plus 2 disposable towels provided in the room. The hotel staff provided us with more towels upon request. The room was clean and tidy. There were 2 double beds which fit 4 of us, while another tatami bed barely fit the other 3 of us (wished it was bigger tatami), but it is just for one night, so it was alright. The room equipped with a big window which facing the Main Street, which is a plus point, great morning and night view of snow town from the view! Breakfast was great! A lot of variety and it was delicious. The hotel even gave us free frozen foods as supper. There were free 泼水成冰 activities provided by the hotel too. Overall the stay was great.

The hotel's location and room decor are absolutely superb! Turn right upon exiting, and you're right on Central Street, super close to Madieer Ice Cream (bought some immediately, of course!). The rooms are designed in a Russian aristocratic style, and they even offer costume rentals – the dresses are beautiful! You can put one on and head to the lobby or the hundred-year-old elevator for some amazing photo opportunities. The lady at the front desk was fantastic at taking pictures and helped me capture so many memorable shots. The guy was also quite entertaining; he readily shared stories about the hotel's history. Both helped me with my luggage when checking in and out (a real lifesaver, as my suitcase was heavy and the hotel entrance has steps – I couldn't have managed it alone!). A big thank you to the enthusiastic front desk staff! Oh, and I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, which was a fantastic bonus!

I extended my stay for another night because of the hotel's warm service. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, and the housekeeping auntie was great too; she quickly resolved an issue we had with our room. Aside from that minor snag, the other facilities were excellent: smart toilet, humidifier, and a very comfortable mousse mattress. The breakfast was rich and exquisite, featuring steak, pan-fried sole, and many other buffet options, available until 10 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The afternoon tea also had a long service period and a wide variety of choices; I highly recommend their homemade yogurt, it's delicious and a great treat after a long day of sightseeing. We also tried the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) at Lao Chu Jia, a Northeastern specialty, and it was really good. Harbin Ice and Snow World, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the Songhua River internet-famous bridge are all fantastic for photos and worth visiting. My trip this time was too short, and I didn't get to experience many things. If I have the chance to visit Harbin again, I'll definitely choose to stay here and explore more. I also missed out on trying Russian Western cuisine and the Hongzhuan Street morning market for an authentic taste of Harbin's local life – I'd go if I could wake up early! I'll be recommending this place to my family and friends.

Wanted to give my thanks to Joe for picking us up in the airport and helping us all around. He is naturally helpful and kind. Well the hotel is grand. It is old but they maintain it. We booked suite room and it is very spacious and comfortable. Bed is just fine and huge bathroom. They make sure to clean our room every day. Location wise is excellent . Close to many malls, travel time to sofia church and some other famous attractions is about 25mins. Just the food selection in this hotel is limited. The chinese restaurant seems close or fully booked all the time and the japanese restaurant is close the whole duration of our week. Hotel says because its off season. I didn't take pictures to share but We definitely gonna book this hotel when we come back to harbin.

This is my second time in Harbin, and I still chose to stay at Shangri-La Songbei. The hotel is relatively new, and the decor is luxurious, consistent with Shangri-La's usual style, which makes for a very comfortable stay. Manager Ouyang at the front desk helped us upgrade to a higher floor. Vivi Zhang, seeing that I was traveling alone with a child, kindly extended our check-out time. The bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, and the parking attendant was also very helpful. The underground parking garage is quite warm, so the windshield wiper fluid won't freeze, which is great for vehicles. The 'Little Chicken Stewed with Mushrooms' at Shang Kitchen is absolutely divine! It's the best I've ever tasted. I hope Shangri-La Songbei continues to thrive, and I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Harbin.

Good value for money, especially in the winter high season. Good location, 10mins walkable distance to the Chinese Baroque Area and 20mins walkable distance to St. Sophia Church. I think I got the smallest room possible, so try to avoid rooms ending with -01 and -02. Clean room and the bed is very comfortable. Paid a bit more for the buffet breakfast. Nothing special but the fried rice was delicious and I ate a lot to tide through the day.

JJimaodanziI'm a guest who recently finished a trip to Harbin. I'm writing this specifically to commend your hotel's butler, Sally Zhang Xinran, and Emma Han Yu from the breakfast restaurant front desk. I've been to Harbin many times, but this was my first time visiting as a tourist, and I unhesitatingly chose the Aoluguya Hotel. From the very beginning of my trip, the hotel service left a deep impression on me. Firstly, the butler, Sally Zhang Xinran, made me feel the hotel's warmth from the moment I set out. She not only offered me many travel suggestions but also promptly responded to all my questions during my stay. Secondly, there's Emma Han Yu from the breakfast restaurant. On the last day of my trip, an incident occurred at the breakfast restaurant. On check-in day, the hotel front desk explicitly told me that a meal voucher needed to be purchased separately for my child and that I could buy it when dining. So, during my stay, I always purchased it before meals, and for the first two days, there were no issues. However, on the last day, a restaurant staff member not only told me very bluntly that this operation was not allowed but also rudely interrupted my explanation, completely disregarding the guest's feelings (objectively speaking, it was my first time encountering a star-rated hotel staff member who wouldn't solve problems but only said 'No'). At that moment, Emma Han Yu, from another counter, intervened immediately after handling other guests' issues. She not only showed extremely high professional standards but also quickly provided a perfect solution, easing the awkward atmosphere. Emma Han Yu's crisis management ability displayed on the spot is a fundamental quality that any hotel professional should possess. She also fully considered the guest's feelings without compromising the hotel's interests. What's even more commendable is that she maintained sincerity and patience throughout the process, making me feel like family. For a traveler about to leave Harbin, this kindness from a stranger was incredibly precious. She filled the end of my Harbin trip with warmth, bringing it to a perfect close. Employees like Sally Zhang Xinran and Emma (Han Yu), who possess both professional competence and a warm service attitude, are the hotel's most valuable assets. I hope the hotel management can acknowledge and recognize their excellent performance.

CColin and Robyn LogieWhat an incredible hotel this is. Our stay has been absolutely 5 star. The staff are incredibly helpful. I haven't remembered all their names but Suyu at the front desk was so helpful in ensuring we got settled in on arrival. It was early and cold when we arrived but this hotel provided us a warm haven. This hotel has all the 5 star features you would expect and more. The multiple hot pools are a highlight. The outside heated pool was amazing during the snow. The staff helped us navigate the city buses easily (the gentleman at the front desk was also great). We will return to this hotel as soon as we can. Harbin is cold but the hotsprings ♨️ are warm

GGubertFirst off, a big shout-out to the hotel owner! We absolutely loved the room design. We're a family of five; my parents chose the 'Northeast heated kang bed' to relive their childhood memories, my husband and I slept on the Korean-style tatami with individual temperature control, and our daughter had a big bed. We each had our own space without disturbing each other. The room was spacious enough for all five of us, not cramped at all. My daughter, for the first time since we arrived in Harbin, said she finally had a meal she liked, thanks to the chef's cooking. The owner even gave us a discount, which we really appreciate. The location is also fantastic, very close to all the attractions. I've already posted about it on my social media!
