We stumbled upon this place by chance and it exceeded our expectations. The moment we drove up to the hotel, we were impressed. We stayed in the Xixia Building this time, and it felt like there were so many rooms as we walked to ours. We booked a family triple room, and while it wasn't huge, it also didn't feel cramped. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic, with its own garden and both indoor and outdoor pools, which I imagine would be great in the summer. With the room key card, you can easily access the Panmen Scenic Area next door, and the scenery there is also quite beautiful. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Last month, from December 16-17, I mistakenly booked an Executive King Room at Suning International Hotel. The first night, costing over 800 yuan, was forfeited because I arrived too late. I thought I would have to bear the loss myself, but customer service representative Amy proactively called me and helped me apply for a 14-day extension. As the new deadline approached, I found there were no rooms available due to a holiday, so she extended it again for me, following up patiently and cheerfully from afar. Her meticulousness and professionalism truly embody ”customer first” in every interaction. I am grateful to Suning for fostering such a warm team, and I wish Amy a prosperous New Year.
I have already rebooked and can check in with peace of mind. I also wish to share this trust with every traveler. Suning is made warm by you, and travel is made beautiful by you.

Had an in-depth experience at Jinling Hotel, and I was deeply impressed by the thoughtful luxury of this long-standing establishment! I stayed in a high-floor room in the Asia-Pacific Tower, offering panoramic city views through its full-length windows – the vista was absolutely stunning. The room layout was well-designed, the toiletries were high-quality, hot water was plentiful, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The service from Ya Shi was prompt and attentive, and the complimentary welcome fruit was fresh and sweet. From the facilities to the service, every detail exuded quality. A well-deserved five-star rating!

Staying at the Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort was absolutely the right choice! When the front desk saw we had a child, they proactively upgraded us to a room in Building 6. The room was spacious and very new. Plus, the hotel's environment is beyond words – flowers, plants, little bridges, and flowing water everywhere, it's just so relaxing to look at. The room was spotlessly clean; the bedding, towels, and everything else were pristine, making our stay very reassuring. The service here is even better. They saw our child and proactively gave them a balloon flower, which made the kid very happy 😁. After check-in, the 'flower butler' service in Building 6 was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. In the evening, they not only tidied our room but also provided a foot bath and massager. At check-out, they even gave us a souvenir. Soaking in the hot springs and enjoying the beautiful scenery here put me in an exceptionally good mood. It's definitely my top choice for a vacation!

Choosing this Suzhou-style hotel in the Pingjiang Road commercial district was the luckiest decision of my Suzhou trip. The stay far exceeded my expectations; it's absolutely incredible value for money! The location is truly impeccable, right in the heart of Pingjiang Road. A short walk takes you into the charming江南 (Jiangnan) ambiance of cobblestone streets and quaint canals. There are countless eateries and attractions nearby, making it super convenient for sightseeing, dining, and getting around. You won't have to worry about transportation at all – it truly feels like 'stepping out into a postcard.'
What's even more delightful is the hotel's decor. The rich Suzhou aesthetic is immediately apparent, with white walls and dark tiles perfectly blending modern comfort with traditional elegance. Every detail reflects refinement and artistry. The warmth of the wooden furniture, the antique carved window grilles, and the tasteful soft furnishings give the whole space a gentle, watery charm without sacrificing style. Every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot – no need to search for the perfect angle. The hotel's corridors, courtyard, and even room corners provide picturesque backdrops for beautiful Jiangnan-style photos, just begging to be shared on social media.
Stepping into the room was even more impressive; the actual environment is far more exquisite than the photos! The space is bright, spacious, and well-laid out, with no hint of feeling cramped. A thoughtful touch was the complete set of delicate tea-ware in the room. The owner, a warm and chatty local from Suzhou, even shared tips on tea appreciation during check-in, allowing us to slow down and savor the aroma of Jiangnan tea amidst our travels – a rare and precious indulgence.
And the facilities were top-notch. The bathroom and hairdryer deserve special praise. The hot water was fast and steady, with a consistent temperature, which was wonderfully refreshing after a long day of travel. The hairdryer was powerful, drying hair quickly and smoothly. These small details really show the hotel's attentiveness. The bedding was exceptional too – the mattress was perfectly soft, and the duvet was breathable and comfortable against the skin. Once I lay down, I didn't want to get up, and I slept incredibly soundly every night, completely relieving the day's exhaustion.
As for cleanliness, it was absolutely flawless. It's clear the hotel maintains strict standards; the room was spotless, with not a speck of dust. The corners, surfaces, and bedding were all clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, making for a truly reassuring and comfortable stay. For a hotel that offers such a fantastic location, rich Suzhou charm, excellent facilities, and strict hygiene management, the price is incredibly reasonable. The value for money is truly outstanding, making it an absolute gem for anyone visiting Suzhou. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

What we liked:
Spacious and nice room design.
Separate bath and toilet.
Toilet has automatic flush, seat cover is also provided. Lots of snacks and amenities provided.
There are amenities at the front desk such as disposable bath cover, disposable floss, mask etc you can collect from front desk.
You can also ask for warm bottled water.
Responsive staff, can communicate your needs via WeChat, very convenient.
There are 3 lifts, very convenient.
Snacks and drinks are free.
Bath robes, room and bath slippers are provided too. Awesome that we stayed on the same floor as the lobby, very convenient.
Location is near metro, malls, shops, and attractions, very convenient.
I like that there are bath robes and different types of towels provided.
What we think can be improved:
We thought the big bath was indoors and wouldn’t be so cold in the winter but it has two open windows and it gets quite cold when the wind blows. It takes about 1.5h to fill up about 60-70% of the tub and you need to tap every 30 minutes or so to keep the water flowing. Quite time consuming to get it ready for a bath.
Housekeeping is inconsistent, the cleaner left a towel on the floor on one of the days, left a cup unwashed, took away our straws and left the sink cover by the sink instead.
They have a centralised heating system so it can get quite hot but the staff offered us a fan and we opened the balcony door for wind to enter so it was comfortable to sleep at night.
There was some drilling going on in the early morning around 9-10am, it was just opposite our room so it disrupted my sleep, would be better for them to schedule it during non-sleeping hours.
When we were checking out, the staff at the counter shared about them getting audited and if we don’t give a five star review, they will get a fine, I had never heard of it from other hotels and found it quite strange. She was insistent on us doing it on the spot even though we have to catch a train, that was not pleasant. We just went ahead to rush for our train.
Not much to watch on the TV unfortunately.

This cruise-themed hotel has an amazing ambiance! Its location by Jinji Lake is absolutely superb, offering stunning views of the lake and the Gate of the Orient right across. The lakeside promenade is just downstairs, making strolls and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The staff provides exceptional service and attention to detail, even offering complimentary children's bathrobes and toothbrushes in cute packaging. The rooms are well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable and clean. The hotel's indoor and outdoor kids' clubs are a wonderland for children, with charming nautical-themed decor. The gym has a full range of equipment, and the heated pool is pristine. Breakfast at the St. Tropez Restaurant is fantastic, featuring a wide variety including authentic Suzhou-style Aozhao noodles, seafood, and desserts, all with a superb lakeside view. Plus, free parking with direct access to Suzhou Center is a huge bonus. This hotel is definitely the perfect choice for families traveling with kids!

Our stay in the lake-view suite completely exceeded all expectations. The floor-to-ceiling windows were like a giant cinema screen, framing the shimmering waters of Xuanwu Lake and the lush green layers of Purple Mountain into a dynamic, living painting. Waking up to the morning mist over Swan Island and watching the city wall lights reflect in the lake at dusk – every moment was breathtaking.
The suite's design perfectly blended Jinling's charm with modern luxury: sleek new Chinese furniture, subtly integrated smart control systems, and a layout with a separate living room and bedroom that felt both open and private. My favorite feature was the circular bathtub by the window, offering panoramic lake views while soaking. Even the welcome fruit platter included a Yuhua tea-themed dessert, showcasing exquisite Jiangnan elegance in every detail.
The hotel service was exemplary: the butler proactively confirmed our preferred routes, and during turn-down service, thoughtfully prepared the window-side daybed for enjoying the view. The 27th-floor executive lounge offered stunning vistas, and during Happy Hour, sipping champagne while gazing down at the ancient city created a particularly moving sense of past and present intertwining.
The location was impeccable: within walking distance to Xuanwu Gate subway station, making it convenient to reach Fuzimiao or Xinjiekou. Morning jogs along the Ming City Wall and evening strolls on the lakeside boardwalk – staying here truly allowed us to experience the essence of 'Pearl of Jinling'.
Special thanks to our butler Luanne for upgrading our room and arranging a late check-out, ensuring a perfect end to our trip. This wasn't just accommodation; it was a cherished Nanjing memory. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both scenic beauty and quality – you'll fall in love with waking up in such a picturesque setting.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good, except that welcome music would play every time you enter the room. The breakfast was alright, it was just enough to fill you up until lunch with a decent selection. There's a convenience store with 3 minutes of the hotel. One issue is the proximity to a restaurant and the occasional drunk person to be close to, or inside the hotel.
I was very satisfied with the facilities and service of this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel for two days and enjoyed breakfast and was very satisfied with the bed.
I’ll stay in the next time~

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!
GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

HHuahuaxiaojiejiePerhaps due to the room type, both rooms were far from the elevator. Around 8 a.m., there was a thumping noise from upstairs. The room was spacious, but the downside was that there was no TV or refrigerator. If you wanted to cool something, you had to go up to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. If you were picking up a tour driver, you had to have him go into the lobby and scan a QR code before you could leave.
The breakfast here was very poor. There was no basic milk, juice, or sauces. The outside bar only had two kinds of pickled cucumber and plain porridge. I got a bowl of bland noodles, so I skipped it the next day! It was simply not good.
It's a shame that the hotel rooms are basic, but the food wasn't well-received.
ZZuiainaipaofan## Environment:
Excellent! The hotel is clearly designed for large conferences, so it's incredibly spacious – it actually felt larger than the entire Xizha scenic area in Wuzhen! Located right on Tongli Lake, it boasts absolute prime lake views and is within walking distance of the ancient town. The landscaping and overall greenery are very high-end and luxurious.
## Cleanliness:
Lacks attention to detail. The lakeside pavilions had quite a few cobwebs and bird droppings. There were also cobwebs outside the room window. The Daguan Garden area is currently under renovation, which made that section look a bit desolate.
## Room:
This time we had a standard room. While no lake view was understandable, the window faced another room's window, which was pitch dark and a bit eerie at night – I'm not sure if it was a conference room. There was absolutely no greenery outside, as you can see from the pictures. I believe this is the area that most urgently needs improvement.
## Service:
The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, always greeted us with smiles, and were very professional.
## Facilities:
Also very impressive. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, with several sprinklers inside, making it very suitable for children. It was a pity we didn't bring our swimsuits this time. We did play table tennis, and the court was good. There's also golf, but we couldn't go due to the rain.
## Breakfast:
Mediocre. The dining area was quite small, and the variety of food was limited. It didn't match the hotel's overall standard, and disappointingly, the venue didn't offer lake views either. It felt like the entire long lakeside wasn't well utilized for dining, which is a real shame.
## Other Points:
We purchased a package deal this time. The package included 'Tongli Night Tour,' which we initially assumed meant the hotel would provide tickets or some sort of activity. However, there was nothing of the sort; it merely implied you could go to Tongli Ancient Town yourself at night. How can this be included in a package? I find it misleading. Furthermore, the minibar only contained four Master Kong soft drinks, which felt very stingy.
## Overall:
The hotel's hardware facilities, stunning views, and service level are all up to par. Despite some minor issues, it is still highly recommended.
DDouzi27Came to Suzhou for a hot spring getaway.
**Environment:** Great, the air is fresh. The hotel grounds are lovely, with rivers, lakes, and ducks – very relaxing.
**Facilities:** The hot spring in our private villa was excellent. The water filled and drained quickly, and the temperature was just right. The small courtyard was also very nice, perfect for sunbathing or feeding the ducks. My only minor complaint is that some facilities are a bit old, and the bathroom curtain was quite dirty at the bottom.
**Cleanliness:** Pretty good, it was cleaned reasonably well.
**Service:** Excellent. They proactively explained everything during check-in, and calling for the shuttle bus was convenient.
**Parking:** There's an underground garage with plenty of spaces, more than enough.
**Breakfast:** Horrible. Not many options. None of the pastries were good; they tasted like pre-packaged items, and not even good pre-packaged ones. The Chinese food wasn't good either, the mini wontons were hard. The only decent thing was the made-to-order omelet.
The hotel's photo-taking service was okay, not many people. There's a group of greedy ducks on the property, they're adorable.
Overall, it was still pretty good.
