The room was spacious and well-laid out, and it was spotlessly clean. Being on a high floor, the view was excellent. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including local specialties. Luanne, our butler, provided exceptional and attentive service. She responded promptly to our requests and handled everything with great care. Many thanks!"

Hotel near Changzhou North High-speed Railway Station area,Changzhou
Sofitel Changzhou Hi-Tech District is invested and constructed by Changzhou High-Speed Rail New City Investment, Construction and Development Co., Ltd. and Changzhou High-Tech Group, and is managed by Accor Group. Located in the core area of Changzhou High-Speed Rail New City, the hotel is adjacent to Xinlong Lake Park and close to Xinbei District Government. Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Xinlong Lake Park from their rooms, walk to Changzhou North Railway Station and Metro Line 1 hub, and reach Benniu International Airport in 20 minutes by car. As a French luxury hotel under Accor Group, it has two pillarless banquet halls (1,500 ㎡ and 900 ㎡), providing diverse spaces for business travelers and leisure guests.

"Although there was a slight hiccup during check-in, both Trip.com and the hotel handled it promptly and appropriately, which is commendable – it's always great when issues are resolved quickly. I've always been quite fond of Accor hotels, but there aren't many new ones opening in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region. So, on this trip to Taizhou, I decided to give this one a try. The room itself was basically odor-free, though some parts of the public areas still had a slight smell, and the elevator to the parking lot had a rather strong odor. Right next door is Wuyue Plaza, which has a Cha Yan Yue Se (bubble tea shop) and is great for browsing and eating. The hotel lobby bar is also good, and the pastry shop is called 'Croissant House,' clearly showing confidence in their croissants. I tried them at breakfast and they were indeed excellent, so I bought a lot more pastries to take home. The bedding was very comfortable, and the toiletries were Lanvin, though I wasn't a big fan of the scent of the bath products. The floor drain had an intermittent odor. It's definitely very close to the high-speed train station, which resulted in a bit of noise. However, luckily, the frequency of trains at night isn't high, so it didn't significantly affect my sleep. Overall, you can tell the hotel is well-managed, and the staff are all very friendly and professional."

Likely one of the best hotels in Suzhou. Beautiful garden at the back and great atmosphere. However, I do have some complaints. First, the room given to me is facing directly in front of the pool. So it was very noisy all day long from the kids. The room was also very dark. Next, the laundry is a huge problem. There were too many people using the very few washer and dryers in the hotel. The dryer was not effective and the cloth remained wet after 3 hours. It was a terrible experience. I also have to complain about a young man working at the front. I asked him where the laundry room was and he completely ignored me and started to flirt with a young female staff. This was really really unprofessional. Unfortunately not much is expected to be done about this. If there is anything else to add, then please provide some sanitizing wet wipes for the gym. The benches were not sanitized at all between usage.

🔥 What a find! This hotel is so good I'd want to stay here again and again! I picked this hotel blindly for my trip, and it was a pleasant surprise all the way through ✨ ✅ The service is genuinely thoughtful: The front desk staff were super friendly and even upgraded my room upon check-in. They were incredibly responsive to any issues, making me feel really well taken care of. ✅ The room was so clean it was spotless: The bedding was wonderfully soft, and the hygiene details were impeccable. I felt completely relaxed as soon as I stepped in. ✅ The location is absolutely perfect: Right outside are the subway and a shopping district, with food, drinks, and entertainment all within walking distance. Tourist spots aren't far either – a true blessing for anyone who wants convenience! I honestly recommend this to anyone visiting the area; you can't go wrong with this choice! 💯 #hotelrecommendation #businessstay #travelessentials #hiddengemhotel

The old Hyatt, soon to be rebranded as a JW, was in a transition period, so I didn't have high expectations for the hardware or software. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of service, especially from Front Desk staffer Xiao Yang, who deserves special praise. The room was standard, but the executive lounge was surprisingly huge, comparable to the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an, though it felt a bit empty with so few guests. For a trip to Wuxi, staying here is incredibly convenient for visiting both Nanchan Street and Huishan Ancient Town. I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves after the rebranding and renovation.

We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

Food: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

This hotel is nestled within the Seven-Mile Shantang Scenic Area, making it perfect for travelers who enjoy exploring at their own pace and planning their own itinerary. Since it's located in an ancient town, the paths are cobblestone, so those with heavy luggage (like me!) should take note. Don't rush; take your time and really soak it all in. The hotel itself is housed within the Jiangnan Weaving Museum, and it's absolutely beautiful! All the staff are very polite and the service is excellent. I'd recommend staying a few extra days to get the most value. There's so much to see and do in Shantang Old Town; make sure to walk along both sides of the river!
