This hotel is located in the heart of the city, on Hongqi Street. It's right next to the famous shopping mall 'Zhe You Shan' and across from the Changchun Film Studio Museum. With the #54 tram stopping right outside, getting around is super convenient, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The surrounding area has great transport links, and taxis are easily available. The front desk staff, especially the lovely 'A. Ice' (that's her WeChat name!), was incredibly warm and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they were quick to resolve any issues, making me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and the mini-bar was complimentary. The views from the room were expansive, and the air conditioning was adjustable, which made for a really pleasant stay overall. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in Changchun.

Its basically a spa, getting in and out of the spa is very troublesome as they keep your shoe as hostage and you are required to queue to check for payment every time you need to leave the hotel which is extremely time consuming. not suitable for family holiday hotel. Alot of additional charges especially for kids using the sauna.

The environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!

This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect…
Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling.
Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward?
Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha!
During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?

The hotel is very close to Changbaishan Station, about 3km by car, a 10-minute taxi ride. It's about 5km from the Changbaishan North Slope Tourist Distribution Center, a 15-minute taxi ride away.
Cleanliness: The room was very tidy, and the hotel lobby and corridors also had a clean and pleasant color scheme.
The room had a microwave, coffee machine, and refrigerator. The wardrobe had an iron, and the bathroom had a great hairdryer (really effective!).
The hotel's first floor has four washing machines and four dryers, perfect for doing laundry after a hike. The gym is well-equipped, but I skipped it this time after climbing the mountain (being lazy).
Food deliveries can be brought up by a robot (there are not many dining options nearby, but you can take a 10-minute taxi ride for Korean food, which is closer to the North Slope distribution center – good to eat before heading to the mountain).
Indoor and outdoor hot springs for 2 adults and 2 children: There were about ten hot spring pools of various sizes. It was raining when we visited, so there weren't many people, and it was very relaxing.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick.

We stayed in the family deluxe room, the 'Dinosaur Water World Stone Age' themed room. The room design was quite unique and my child loved it, but the cleanliness was subpar. The floor felt sandy when you walked on it, and there was a constant layer of white dust on my phone screen and the wall light switches, which appeared every time we moved even slightly. I'm not sure what it was.
There must have been a lot of dust mites on the bed. My child's legs were itchy and had small bites, and since it's not summer, it couldn't have been mosquitoes – it had to be dust mites. I felt itchy all over too while sleeping.
It seemed like the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, just superficially tidied up, without proper wiping. Perhaps it's because the room is large and has two floors, but in terms of hygiene, I felt the value for money wasn't good. We just stayed for two days for the child's happiness.
The hot springs and water park were nice, but the water in the water park was too cold. Initially, we weren't allowed to bring towels from the hot springs area, nor could we wear slippers. The water park didn't provide towels or slippers either. My child's lips turned purple from the cold. Kids don't mind when they want to play, but it was really cold for adults, and we worried about the child getting sick. Also, walking without slippers was very slippery, and I was afraid the child would fall. Later, we saw people wearing slippers, so I went to the front desk to ask where we could get some. The front desk said that management had just changed the rule, and now we could bring towels and wear slippers.
Then, there was a sushi stand nearby. I asked if it was chargeable (intending to ask if it required cash or room key payment), and they said yes, it was chargeable. Immediately after, I overheard a male and female hotel staff member laughing, as if implying, 'Do you expect it for free if it's not chargeable?'

The hotel environment is really good. It's very close to the Folk Culture Park and the internet-famous wall. After taking photos, you can come straight back to shower. The room is also very clean, the service is enthusiastic, and parking is convenient. Overall, it's great.

The hotel offers a VIP direct access to the mountain, so even if you've already bought your tickets, you can go in anytime without an appointment. The butler service was very attentive and responsive, making everything so easy. The luggage porter was also very helpful and quick to address any issues. The bedding was super comfortable. Even though it gets light early here, I slept really well thanks to the excellent blackout curtains and the quiet, odor-free room. The only minor issue was that the bathroom light circuit might be a bit old. The hotel's hot spring was a highlight, especially the kids' specific pool. The bathrobes and slippers came with wristband clips, so there was no chance of mix-ups, and fresh ones were always available. My kids absolutely loved it!
The overall environment of the resort is pretty good; it would probably be even better in the summer. The service is exceptional, with everyone paying great attention to detail. However, as a mom looking for a weekend getaway with my child, I found the activities to be just so-so. The snow activities themselves are free, so any amount of fun is a bonus. The hot springs, though, were really disappointing. There are only a few indoor pools, no high-temperature areas, and more importantly, they didn't feel like actual hot springs! 😦 The outdoor iron pot was impossible to use due to too much debris. From a value-for-money perspective, it's not the best choice for a weekend trip. And the kids' play area... sigh.

3320237****The hotel is quiet and clean, and not far from a popular street with many trendy restaurants. They have an outdoor hot spring, and the scrubbing attendant was so thorough I felt like I had brand new skin! The guest room manager was incredibly welcoming, recommending various attractions and even telling us about a nearby farmers' market. After breakfast, we walked over and the morning market was still in full swing. We ended up buying 1,000 yuan worth of wild mushrooms and large blueberries, which was about a fifth of the price we'd pay in our city's morning market. The ginseng selection was astounding.

GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
GGuest UserWe had a very satisfying holiday experience. Even though it was a public holiday, it didn't feel crowded at all. The hotel's pool and hot spring baths were practically empty during the day, so we had them all to ourselves. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. The boardwalk behind the hotel made it very convenient to walk to the cable car and food street.
Most importantly, the service throughout our stay was excellent. I rarely encounter such attentive service, especially from our duty manager, Joy. A huge thank you to her!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Beidahu Hyakumanseki Hot Spring Hotel; it's the ultimate choice for a ski resort getaway! As a high-end hot spring hotel under Gokurakuyu, Japanese aesthetics are integrated into every detail. The rooms are elegant and spacious, with premium and thoughtful amenities. Opening the window, you're greeted by a stunning, serene, and healing view of the snow-capped mountains. The location is absolutely fantastic, with an exclusive corridor leading directly to the ski equipment hall. No need to carry your gear; you can truly ski-in and ski-out, saving effort and hassle. After skiing, head straight to the Gokurakuyu hot spring, where the aroma of cypress wood fills the air. With both indoor and outdoor pools to choose from, the romantic experience of soaking in the snow is maximized, and all fatigue melts away. The butler service is meticulous, providing thoughtful care from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, ensuring you start your ski day full of energy. The hotel is well-equipped with a supermarket and a Japanese izakaya, fulfilling all your vacation needs in one place. Whether for a business retreat or a ski holiday, it's an impeccable top choice and has already been added to my must-visit list every year!

MM681841****This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Wanda International Resort, with no detours needed. The decor is cozy with traditional heated 'kang' beds, which I'd never experienced before – so comfortable and warm. The natural light is amazing; you can see the Qinglong ski slope from the ski resort right from your window. The room was decorated so warmly, I immediately felt a great sense of hospitality. This guesthouse has everything you need, with a supermarket and restaurant on-site. The owner even built their own small ski slope, which we all had a blast on! The owner is incredibly nice, responds to messages super fast, and provided clear directions and check-in instructions before our arrival. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully asked if we needed any help. Next time I visit this city, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again! I honestly recommend it to everyone.
