"This was my second trip to Yantai, and I chose to stay at the Pullman again. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to both the beach and Yantaishan. Just across the street is Suochengli, which is beautiful at night. From the window, you can see mountains, the sea, and the city, which is really lovely. The front desk service was very attentive; they patiently listened to all my questions, responded proactively, and resolved issues promptly. I had a fantastic experience."

"I just wanted a quiet beach getaway, and after a long search, I chose this hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Yantai Station, and the service is absolutely top-notch. They upgraded me to a sea-view room, and even offered warm milk before bed. They provide one-on-one service to every guest. I have neck issues and asked for a latex pillow, which was delivered very quickly. The breakfast was great, with delicious desserts, noodles, and mackerel dumplings. The facilities are well-maintained, and any minor flaws were easily overlooked thanks to the outstanding service. Plus, at this price point, it's incredible value for money."

"We brought our kids to Yantai for a holiday and stayed at the Yantai Marriott, and it was a fantastic choice! It's an all-in-one spot for entertaining the little ones, making it easy and comfortable. The hotel's back door leads directly to the beach, and they provide complimentary sand-digging tools upon check-in, which the kids absolutely loved. The room facilities are complete, with a convenient bathtub and toilet, and a balcony directly facing the sea. We enjoyed listening to the waves in the morning and watching the 'orange sea' sunset in the evening. The hotel also features an indoor heated pool, an outdoor splash park, and a kids' indoor activity room on the third floor that's open all day, so there's no need to worry about rain. The gym offers a place for adults to relax and exercise. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including all sorts of kids' pastries, and the dining area also boasts sea views. The staff member, Koala, provided thoughtful and attentive service, and check-in was very efficient. The overall surroundings of the hotel are clean and quiet, with fresh air. NNatasha...This hotel is right next to Quancheng Square, and the scenic view room offers expansive views, allowing you to watch the musical fountain from your room at night. The room facilities are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and all the complimentary welcome fruits were delicious, showing the hotel's thoughtful service. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or indoor pool due to time constraints, but I imagine they would be excellent too. I especially recommend staying here if you're doing business at Xiangheng Square; the two buildings are connected, so you can go back and forth without stepping outside, which is super convenient. It's also within walking distance of key attractions like Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Daming Lake, and Wulongtan, and it's easy to get to Kuanhouli and Furong Street for food and shopping. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jinan.

GGuest UserRoom: The floor I was on was average. The soundproofing was decent, but the facilities are quite old. The TV was slow to turn on, and the bathtub faucet leaked. Both of the children's playpens provided had holes.
Service: The service was very mediocre, I'd even say poor. I've stayed in many hotels, and this Westin really underperformed. Especially the front desk staff during check-in – they didn't provide any basic information about the hotel, like breakfast times or the pool's location. We had two kids, two strollers, luggage, and a bunch of bags, and all the staff completely ignored us. Not one person offered to help. The only positive point was the housekeeping gentleman, who was very diligent and responsible despite all the issues.
Breakfast: We booked for three consecutive days and specifically included breakfast. The food selection wasn't very rich, and the service was still bad. On the first morning, a Saturday, we went down around 9 AM and had to queue. With the crowd, the service simply couldn't keep up. We were moved twice, and the young lady at the noodle station was flustered. On the second day, they couldn't even replenish cups and bowls in time, and many dishes weren't refilled after 9:30 AM. We just gave up on breakfast on the third day.
All food deliveries were sent to a central locker, and we had to call concierge to have them brought up, which added extra work.
For this price, this location, and this service, I'm extremely disappointed. Staying here for three days then moving to the Haitian hotel truly showed me that there's no comparison. The Haitian hotel wins hands down. This is a genuine review; it was so bad that I had to comment. The only benefit for traveling with kids was the heated 'vibrancy pool,' which the children enjoyed. That's it.

SSaiwaiyundanfengqingIt was great to stay in this hotel in Weihai for three nights. The location is very good, just opposite the Weihai Campus of Shandong University. You can reach the No. 1 Beach and Torch 8th Street by crossing the campus. The most satisfying thing is the food and beverage in this hotel. The breakfast is super rich and delicious. By the way, the hotel also offers a set meal of sea intestines and rice. The price is acceptable and it is also very delicious. If I have the chance to go to Weihai, I will stay in this hotel again. When I left the hotel, I was given a gift bag of snacks that my children love to eat. It was full of sincerity.

Right next to the terminal, with a direct elevator access. I timed it, and it's a 9-minute walk, which is very convenient. It would be perfect if they had a shuttle bus, as carrying heavy bags for 9 minutes can be a bit tiring.

The view is, well, the airplane runway, haha.
Room Amenities:
Everything you need is there, and they even provided complimentary Qingdao specialty drinks, which was a nice touch. The only minor complaint is that the shower gel provided was a bit stingy, just enough for one shower. Definitely not enough for a bath (and I don't like using bath salts).
Service:
The Shandong ladies are all so tall! Great genes! 👍 They're good-looking, speak softly, and have a very friendly demeanor. Service gets full marks! 💯
Value for Money:
If they had a shuttle bus, the value for money would be perfect.
Breakfast:
Looks abundant, mostly carbs, and the taste was average.
WiFi:
The signal in the bathroom was a bit weak, but it was fine elsewhere.

Decent.

As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes.
The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The housekeeping was impeccable, and amenities were always well-stocked. Cherry's sincerity shone through; there was no pushy sales talk, just naturally comfortable service. These thoughtful, personalized touches, though small, truly doubled the happiness of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers – it's reliable and won't disappoint. GGuest UserThe Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded.
Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue.
My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality.
The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

GGuest UserThe parking lot has ample spaces, the plaza is large, and parking is free. The lobby manager, Ms. Liu Xin, was very welcoming, and the front desk staff were also very professional. The concierge provided luggage storage, excellent assistance with getting in and out of vehicles, and package pickup services. Overall, the experience was excellent. The rooms have large, bright windows, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. The location is convenient, with many restaurants nearby. Transportation is very convenient. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
Hot towels and warm water were available at the bar for handwashing.

GGuest UserThe room amenities were great, and laundry was convenient. The only downside was that the dryers were often in use, but luckily, the room had a dehumidifier. Hanging clothes in the bathroom with the dehumidifier running overnight worked wonders. My kids got several outfits dirty each day playing in the sand, and I was able to wash them all promptly. Breakfast was more Western-style and healthy. The adjacent music restaurant was fantastic; we ate dinner there four nights in a row, and both the Western and Chinese dishes were excellent. The children's toiletries and slippers were good quality, and the room came with pour-over coffee equipment and beans, plus a bed rail for the little one. You could really tell they paid attention to the details. The only slight drawback was the loud music program on Saturday night, with the speakers pointed directly at our room – it was too noisy. If you're staying over a weekend, definitely ask for an odd-numbered room to avoid the noise.
