I didn't expect much at first, but I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. The hotel front desk took the initiative to help upgrade the room. The breakfast also had a rich variety of vegetables and fruits, which was a very cost-effective choice.

The St. Regis Lhasa is undoubtedly the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa. Its ******* luxury decor creates a fantastic ambiance, and the rooms are perfectly equipped with diffuse oxygen systems, which greatly alleviate any discomfort from the high altitude. You can even enjoy stunning views of the Potala Palace right from your window – truly breathtaking.
I must give a special shout-out to my exclusive butler, Sangbu, whose service was both professional and incredibly warm. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout my entire stay, providing high-altitude travel tips in advance and greeting me with a comforting hot black tea upon arrival to soothe my body and mind. He was super responsive to all my requests, whether for itinerary advice or item delivery. He paid close attention to my physical well-being and was genuinely humble and kind. The service from this local ******* butler added an extra touch of warmth to my experience.
The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a great pool, spa, and restaurants that maintain high quality. Breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple.
Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'm incredibly grateful for Butler Sangbu's meticulous care, which added so many wonderful memories to my Lhasa trip. I will definitely choose the St. Regis Lhasa again on my next visit and highly recommend everyone to ask for Butler Sangbu!
Motorcycle Travel 318, this hotel should be very comfortable. Many mainland hotels do not have massage chairs. It only costs more than 300 yuan and has a massage chair. The environment is also very good. I like it very much. The sweet little buns for breakfast are especially delicious. I think the breakfast is very rich, with a lot of porridge and vegetables. Love it. It would be great if there were such hotels in the mainland.

Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender.
Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it.
My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work!
The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

I came to Lhasa backpacking alone, initially planning to rough it in a hostel for a few nights. But then a friend practically forced me to try this Hilton, saying 'you'll know once you stay here.' And okay, I admit, I'm completely hooked!
The service was incredibly good. They proactively said, 'Let me arrange a comfortable yet affordable room for you,' and even hand-wrote a 'Lhasa guide' – telling me where to find the cheapest sweet tea, which monasteries have free entry, and which bus routes offer the best scenic views. The most touching moment was when I came back drenched from the rain one day. Immediately, someone brought me a bowl of hot herbal tea and a blanket, saying, 'Don't catch a cold, getting sick at high altitude is a hassle.' This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel.
The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible.
After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒
Environment: The room sister cleaned very clean, did not find any dead ends, sound insulation effect is OK, disposable supplies are quite complete, the towels are thick and soft, not hairy, in my impression is very good
Service: The front desk service attitude is okay, I enthusiastically told the apartment to go to the elevator
When booking, please see whether the apartment is a hotel or an apartment. The apartment is next door (on the same floor). The apartment does not have oxygen supply, but the area is quite large.
Breakfast is generally not many types
The rooms are spacious and bright, with new facilities and the light orange decoration in the house is very warm. The concentration of diffuse oxygen supply can reach more than 24%. This is very important in the plateau area, which is very helpful for adapting to the plateau environment and helping sleep. The mattress is moderately firm, the quilt cover is very clean, and the quilt has a clear product label. There is also a small refrigerator in the house, which is good. The bathroom is clean and the layout is comfortable. The cute robot is responsible for delivering takeaways and express delivery to the room, which is very efficient. Xiao Li at the front desk service is very good. Stayed for a day and felt very good. Next time I come to Nyingchi, I will choose here, warm Home 2 suites by Hilton, satisfied!
The hotel was seen occasionally when we were about to arrive at Mangkang. The guy at the front desk enthusiastically led us to see the room. The facilities were complete and the environment was elegant. The front was the tributary of the Jinsha River. There were several hot spring pools. Due to the off-season, the guy upgraded the room for us. Living in a room with its own hot spring pool on the first floor, in it, as if you are in a Southeast Asian seaside water house, staying for one night is good.
