My husband and I stayed at Nalagi Hotel for 1 night as we had an early flight out and it was close to the airport and relatively cheap. Our room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. We ate at the rooftop bar which has spectacular views and a big swimming pool. Very comfortable transit hotel if you want to be close to the airport when coming from other tourist areas. (Nadi not a tourist destination for us). The concierge called a taxi for us in the morning and it cost $20FJD to the airport.

We had already had an idea that the rooms would be dated from the reviews. So expected as much and weren't fussed about our stay, given the price hence why we 4 stars as prob can do with an upgrade. We were on the ground floor and we didn't have any bugs in our room. Cleaning was pretty good. One of the cleaners who had returned to work there in the last few months was REALLY amazing at his job. The restaurant food was really good we had no complaints, so dined there quite a bit. Rosie's onsite were also really helpful when we booked activities. But the staff are what make this place such a great atmosphere to be at. The bar staff Eroni (Rhonda) and Vasiti were AMAZING. Super helpful to give you advice and what to look out for. We would recommend the place based on the staff

Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

After getting rained out on another island we saw sunshine on Nadi so we changed our flight & were so blessed to get same day accommodations here. The wow factor starts with the short boat ride over to the island where you are instantly greeted with the biggest smiles & friendliest staff. We loved it all- the live music, Fijian night, pool table, swim up bar, relaxing overlooking the ocean, & the best breakfast. This location is an easy 30 minutes to the airport or Denaru marina which we utilized for a day trip to island hop. This is a beautiful island dripping in colorful flowers & dreamy palm trees everywhere. My only negative comment is there is a severely malnourished mare here that was being ridden. Both of the mares that had foals were underweight but she was all bones & it was heartbreaking. Please stop letting people ride these horses until they get up to a safe body weight & if they’re being fed “properly” than have her teeth checked out. Even while nursing a foal there is no reason a horse should ever be in that condition.

The rooms were clean and in great condition and the showers had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water - perfect for helping us relax as we continued our trip. As opposed to other hotel rooms in Fiji, the air conditioning worked great and the safe in the room was in good working condition - something that is always important for protecting your valuables and travel documents. This was a perfect place for us to stay when we had to fly out of Nadi airport for our flight to the island of Taveuni. On this night, we ate at the restaurant which had excellent, friendly staff and good food. But the thing we remember the most about this hotel were the 2 live musicians Igenasio and Joape who play in the bar and restaurant. During our meal, I kept pausing and saying to my wife, ”listen to this awesome music”! Just about every day for the rest of our trip I kept saying to my wife, ”did I say how awesome those musicians at the Fiji Gateway hotel were?” On our final night in Fiji, just before we went to Nadi airport, we went back to the Fiji Gateway hotel to see if Igenasio and Joape were playing in the restaurant and bar area. Guess what? They were! I was beyond excited to see them and told them that we came back to the hotel just to find them. They did not disappoint and played 2 songs that we requested as well as songs requested by others. They are a great duo and they complement each other with their lead singing and harmony. We'll always remember this final night in Fiji at the Gateway Hotel!

We were lucky enough to experience the Adults Only Waitui Beach Club Package which gave us a little bit more luxury of being pampered at the Spa and entry into the more sophisticated Journal Lounge. At the lounge we had daily complimentary high tea which was delightful, Bubbly with Breakfast and delicious complimentary sunset cocktails or Gin and Tonic with a beer for Hubby! The staff in the Executive Lounge went above and beyond with their service, in particular Payal who had such grace and Professionalism, Kara with her infectious laugh and Agnes who was a delight with her quiet demeanor. Mili, Loyalty Supervisor, thank you for checking with us that our stay was meeting our expectation (which it was) and giving us an insight on how the resort was travelling since Covid. Waitui Beach Club Grill...you cook an excellent steak and your staff's recommendation of the fish curry was spot on considering I hadn't tasted one before. Thank you to your staff who always made us feel welcome, especially Vau who always remembered our names throughout our stay! A big thank you to Claire too for indulging me with some French conversation which I remembered from my school days! Finally, thank you to Solo for your professionalism and friendly nature in both checking us in and out. We ran out of paper to note down more staff but please note you are all exceptional too. Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. I will never forget you and your kindness 우사이아는 최고의 직원입니다 신혼여행으로 왔는데 너무 친절하게 모든걸 다 설명해주셨어요. 사실 피지가 처음이라 좀 긴장하고 익숙하지 않았는데 우사이아의 서비스 덕분에 긴장이 많이 풀렸고 쉐라톤이 너무 즐거웠습니다 정말 쉐라톤 자체도 괜찮았지만 우사이아의 서비스 덕분에 저희의 신혼여행이 정말 행복해졌어요 쉐라톤 그리고 이 직원분 추천드려요

We had a great stay. Staff was friendly and accomodating to our needs including carrying out heavy luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. They even allowed our visitors in which I find very rare. They also carried our food up to our balcony which was great. We had the Sunset suite at the very top - awesome view! Our room was nice and clean, super nice air con in the room and lounge area. Really nice kitchen area with a massive new fridge. Very convenient with the supermarket up the road and beachfront to chill. The ocean was sooo nice and hot to swim in. Downfall: Some of the levels smell like damp, wet carpet and was really bad . Some of our dishes were so dirty and their were cockroaches in the toaster, microwave and jug. Would be great to have a volley ball net on the beach and some activities on offer for guests such as horse riding & snorkelling etc. Also some entertainment would be great as the music next door was the only entertainment we got but sometimes it was far too loud that we couldn’t sleep. There was no fire show or kava ceremony and we were looking forward to that! The food at the ghost ship bar was really good especially the pizza and curry dishes! Be good if reception could help guests find the best taxi prices as some Of the locals that stand on the road really take advantage of travellers and charge you the world. We did have a great stay in the end! I would recommend this if you want to stay near town, the airport and want to experience outside of Denarau. Denarau did get boring for me sometimes so I liked this experience this time around.

My wife and I spent 7 amazing nights here! The resort has everything, you don’t even have to leave! You can catch a 45 minute cab ride to port denaru for some adventure experiences of course, but so much to do here. Isikeli and Jim - as well everyone else at the water sports area were awesome! The 5 hr cruise with snorkel and wave runner safaris were definitely worth it. Joey over at the fish bar is great and pours some good drinks. Missi and Adam with activities also some great people to run into for a soccer game on the beach. Marcus was the friendliest person to run into everywhere at the resort throughout the day. Simon at the front lobby will help square you away with whatever you need. We had a lagoon view bure which was a home away from not wanting to go back home. Walk right into the lagoon from the beach or sit on your balcony while reading a book. All in all could not recommend this resort more. Safest part of the trip is was having to leave.

Well worth staying here room very clean..staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we wanted. The food was delicious and nice buffet night in garden ..and we loved the live band music and the island dance and fire show …, we tried the Kava and enjoy singing with Natha sitting with him on the mat and also singing on the beach around the bonfire ..the resort very busy but plenty of space for us sitting outside beautiful and swimming good in in 2 pools very clean and nice water

Thumbs up from a 61 year old solo female traveller. Well priced for my needs. 12 nights, --$850nz. ..( cheaper if you stay longer than 7 nights.) Own room, double bed, bathroom, air conditioning, fan. Beach directly across the road and bars and restaurants along the beach that anyone can go to all within a 2 minute walk, fits budget travel. Safe and comfortable to walk around at night. Its not a rowdy area ..everyone just cruising along. Supermarket a few minutes walk. Has a sister lodge next door with pool. Bus outside to go to town. Staff lovely. no kitchen, restaurant or bar but its all your doorstep🌞👌(Wasn't filled with party animals which I was worried about.) Nice chilled vibe😉

Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

We were lucky enough to experience the Adults Only Waitui Beach Club Package which gave us a little bit more luxury of being pampered at the Spa and entry into the more sophisticated Journal Lounge. At the lounge we had daily complimentary high tea which was delightful, Bubbly with Breakfast and delicious complimentary sunset cocktails or Gin and Tonic with a beer for Hubby! The staff in the Executive Lounge went above and beyond with their service, in particular Payal who had such grace and Professionalism, Kara with her infectious laugh and Agnes who was a delight with her quiet demeanor. Mili, Loyalty Supervisor, thank you for checking with us that our stay was meeting our expectation (which it was) and giving us an insight on how the resort was travelling since Covid. Waitui Beach Club Grill...you cook an excellent steak and your staff's recommendation of the fish curry was spot on considering I hadn't tasted one before. Thank you to your staff who always made us feel welcome, especially Vau who always remembered our names throughout our stay! A big thank you to Claire too for indulging me with some French conversation which I remembered from my school days! Finally, thank you to Solo for your professionalism and friendly nature in both checking us in and out. We ran out of paper to note down more staff but please note you are all exceptional too. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!

Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. The Terraces Just returned again to this wonderful resort with my 2 friends. I can highly recommend this accomodation in either a 1 brm or 2 brm apartment. The apartments are very clean & spacious with all the facilities you need with a kitchen & laundry, with lovely views of either garden or pool & golf course from 1 or 2 of the balconies in the 2 brm apartment. The pool & gardens are highly maintained with plenty of pool loungers. The convenience to Port Denarau is just 5 mins walk away to all the bars & restaurants plus a fully stocked mini mart. All the staff at The Terraces are very friendly & helpful. I’m looking forward to my return again in November.

The health is good, but the service is really average. There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bathrobes in the room. The waiter only dragged the floor to clean the room. He did not make beds or give free mineral water. I have paid the full price when I booked the hotel, and I have to charge it again when I check out ... Also, the price is really high!

This was our second time at the Sheraton Denarau Villas and we loved it as much as the first time. The 2 bed villas are perfect and the daily housekeeping service a dream. All of the team at Sheraton can't do enough for you and the warm and friendly welcome is always genuine. I do have a BUT... the service at times wasn't great. The Tatavu bar even when not busy the service was slow. We even took to ordering ourselves at the bar but even then the wait was extensive. The saving grace was a fantastic waitress called Meliana who was rushed off her feet but always attentive and remembered our orders and room number. That said, it's an awesome resort and for us, the best on Denarau. Feels luxurious but not pretentious. We will be back!!
