The Original City, Are Hôtel in Landerneau is an eco-friendly hotel, which means there is no air conditioning. The rooms are on the smaller side and the facilities are quite basic, but overall adequate for a short stay. On the positive side, the free jacuzzi and sauna session was a very enjoyable surprise and a nice way to relax. Service was good throughout, and the receptionist in particular was very friendly and helpful.
Overall, a simple hotel with basic comfort, made better by the wellness facilities and pleasant service.
The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Rennes' old town, perfect for exploring on foot. Parking is convenient, with a paid underground car park accessible 24/7. Just a heads-up: the market is held in Place des Lices every Saturday. After passing through a quiet inner courtyard (where you can also enjoy a drink), you'll reach the check-in desk. The welcome was perfectly professional, much like what you'd expect from a Mama Shelter hotel. The room is spacious and features modern decor. An umbrella is provided (which can certainly come in handy in Brittany!), but there are no facilities for coffee, tea, or hot beverages. There's a mini-fridge with two bottles of water and a safe. Please note that a €50 per day deposit is charged immediately and refunded within a few days after your departure.
Good hôtel, fast check in. Welcoming staff at the front desk.
Rooms are nice.
Cleanliness quite good, but could be improve (dirt in some places). Bottle of water half empty in the fridge.
Hammam was cold.
Jacuzzi was at a good temperature but too much chlore and bubble that hurt the eyes.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with large space in Europe and a balcony. The restaurant is also large and spacious, highlighting the luxury of a four-star hotel, and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows have a good visual effect. Located at a few forks in the street, it takes two or three minutes to walk close to the beach to see the sea view. The only downside was that there was no hot water in the bath on the first day. The front desk did not call someone to repair it. The cold shower was taken. Trip.com I contacted the front desk to have hot water the next afternoon. I said that the system was broken (I can’t understand it. I haven’t encountered such a thing. It’s a bit uncomfortable). The first night’s room rate was refunded when I asked for a refund. 300 yuan. The sink basin is too high to make my clothes wet. The edge of the sink seeps into the wooden countertop. When washing hands and face, I need to dry the water that penetrates with a towel. The plug of the sink is not elastic. I need to pick it up and put the water. It is full of rust. I can't stand the cleanliness, indicating that the hotel does not pay much attention to infrastructure. I love cleanliness. If I don't solve the rust and the basin seepage, I will not stay next time. There is also a hot water problem. The service is not timely and annoying. The hair is not washed. I plan to take a hot bath and sleep comfortably. The girl takes a cold bath.

LLidamaoziAll Accor Group hotel chains are a little higher than Ibis, the room is very good and relatively spacious, the breakfast is rich, and the service is very thoughtful. Linhai coastline. The price is average. It is relatively far from the train station. There are still several restaurants around. Going to the old town is relatively close.

JJIEThe breakfast buffet is very rich, the parking lot is convenient, suitable for resorts, the weather is very good, there are parent-child rooms, it is very suitable to bring children to play together, a recommended place, the SPA is very comfortable, 15 euros and 2 hours recommended!
GGuest UserOn that cold and dark winter evebing, we were gracefully helped by phone by the reception lady in order to reach the hotel located within the pedestrian corner of the city. A beautiful Maison de Maître serves as the Edgar hôtel. Check-in was swift and pleasant, and we had access to an elevator for our humougous suitcases. We entered a beautifully-decorated and warm bedroom, and were nicely advised by our receptionist on which restaurant would be open for dinner (winter Sunday night). Had a resting sleep and a tasty breakfast. Only good things to say, basically.
I want to emphasize here that we had a wheel chair accessible bedroom on the 1st floor (the hotel has 3), which I found interesting. The bathroom was all planned for wheel chair access. In case anyone here needs this type of facility, you can book Edgar hotel!

GGuest UserThe room had recently been painted, the smell of paint was pungent, parking good. The pool and facilities were not available with our booking, this was not clear and disappointed we could not use the pool unless paid as an off the street person. We declined to pay and spent time on the beach instead. Breakfast was paid for separately as well, a good choice of foods and good coffee. The breakfast dining room had a stunning view of Doureneze bay with a sailboat race for entertainment. On the whole a nice place but the rooms in the *** block across from the mail hotel are a bit to be desired, pay the extra and stay in the main hotel****.

GGuest UserHôtel Lovely and clean but ridiculous prices to use facilities or eat within hotel. Location convenient. Parking was not available to us though was on offer through hotel (but inconveniently fully booked)- hotel could have offered reimbursement.
Coffee pot in an inconvenient location of room and not cleaned. Temperature not adjustable from 18 downwards- only warmer.
Disappointed spa and pool were not included in very high price of room.
GGuest UserThis time we stayed in a four-person room. Although it has a double sofa bed, the room feels very spacious and open. The kitchenette is well-equipped, and there’s a round table where we can enjoy breakfast in the room. Overall, it feels clean and tidy, and the terrace is large enough to sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze. The front desk service is excellent, and the whole family, including the two kids, really enjoyed this hotel.
