Excellent location near Syntagma Square and walkable to all tourist spots. The staff were cheerful and attentive, and the room was well-equipped (comfy bed, slippers, and toothbrush provided). The best part was the breakfast buffet on the rooftop with a view of the Acropolis. Highly recommended!

The hotel was super cute and location was perfect, super close to the centre and had many cafes, salons and restaurants right next to it. The room was a bit too small( looks bigger in the pictures). The AC took sometime to cool the room. Bed was comfortable. Overall not bad, but for the price paid was not worth jt :)

This hotel is simply divine! It’s brand new construction. The rooms, bed, air conditioning are wonderful. The Athens view roof top restaurant is one of the best parts of the hotel. The food is delicious. The service is exceptional. The morning breakfast is the best breakfast that I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast room with outdoor garden is serene and a wonderful experience. The only negatives are: 1) The pool is cold and not heated 2) The hotel is far away from the desirable area of plaka or Monastiraki. $15 Euros by cab or 1 hour walk.

Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it. The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value. The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night. Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

The room was perfect, clean and tidy and the faculty members were extremely hospitable, the concierge and the front desk, every staff. yet a small little thing that was a little disappointing was the outdoor swimming pool was closed because of the government regulation except that everything was perfect

The 8th and 9th floors of the hotel, as well as the rooftop breakfast area (which is also the top floor), offer direct views of the Parthenon. Plus, the infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos! Probably because there are so many guests (and many rooms), after calling the front desk, service takes a long time to arrive (sometimes I even had to directly ask a housekeeper in the hallway for what I needed). The room facilities are quite old. Around noon, the front desk gets swamped with guests checking out. On another note, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the old town every hour on the dot.

Perfect location! We took the metro from the airport to the hotel and didn't need to use public transport again after that. Everything was within walking distance. The room was lovely, clean, and well-decorated. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend it!

This is our 2nd stay at Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. Our experience, just like the first time, was not disappointing. All the staff at the hotel are extremely professional, and they didn't disappoint with the high quality of service rendered. We were particularly impressed at the check-in, which was done in less than 1 min. They just pulled up our details on their files, gave us the check-in paper to sign, and away we went to our room. We asked for the same room 324 that we stayed on our first visit, and they happily obliged us. I love the fact that the hotel pays attention to every little request from its customers. 4 mins away from the nearest station which is alright for it's price. I stayed here for one night so it was okay, I tried booking a transfer to the port and it was quite expensive (28 euros) I think rather just book an Uber next time!
