The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel.
There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.
All in all it was nice. We first got to know the place by having breakfast at the café and really enjoyed the food there, so that why we decided to book two nights at the hotel. Food is really good and the pool was nice, although it was closed one out of the two days we stayed there. The room was spacious and clean enough. The minus points were the lack of AC (there is a fan on the ceiling but no proper AC) and also the way we got almost thrown out of the room. On trip.com it says the check out is supposed to be between 10:30 and 11:30, and at 09:45 somebody from the hotel already came knocking at our door! We were just packing our last items and told them we thought we still had some time, to what he answered the check out is at 10:00… he then stayed in front of the room until we were ready to leave! That did not feel good. Also the internet was very weak in our cottage in the back garden. Two problems that are easily solvable though. The hotel could make sure to change the check out time on trip. Com and get an extra router for the rooms in the back.
Perfect location. Close to Panjim city, restaurants and ******s.
Hotel is very nice. Great breakfast buffet and nice pool and gym.
Staff are very professional but need to mention the great service provided by front office staff who works the night shift. Deevanshu might be his name. Appreciate the high level of service and assistance he provided.
I will start with the best: The character is chic, starting from the entrance and everyone with whom we have had to interact, polite, smiley, sincerely set up to help and to meet all your adequate needs - it is just a gun, megarepspect. Come only for the night with the family, it was a forced stop, but to the hotel this relationship does not have, in the morning at breakfast we prepared the best for all the time omlet with milk, then we asked the cash, which was not and cocoa, the guy didn't even know what it was, guggled and we all did! The territory is beautiful, the road to the beach is pleasant, the rooms are beautiful! The sand on the beach is small, violinous like snow - just heaven!!
And the minus that require categorical attention:
1. The floor in the room was very dirty, we arrived late in the evening, laid the children, took a shower, went there on the room, and in the morning looked at their feet and chips. The wife took a napkin and spent on the floor - it would be better not to see 🤣
2. In the pool, very clean water, the pool itself with different depths, very comfortable - NO, in the children's, smaller, area of the pool simply cannot be located, very strongly pulls the urine out of the toilets, right smells exactly at the level of water and a meter above. If you sail to the opposite end, there everything is good, airs.
3. We have not faced a problem, but I think there are few lying on the pool and beach(8 pcs), perhaps beach lying more relevant for Europeans, then should be enough.
Whether its Ashutosh from frontdesk, sudeep from housekeeping or varad from restaurant, every person in the hotel right from entrance to the restaurant made sure that the service is excellent. Such a welcome and comfortable stay that i was thinking of extending my stay. The food was lovely and the service was great. Thanks to all the Team Lemon Tree to make our stay a wonderful one.
Hotel staff was quite friendly with smiling a face to welcome the guest hardly 5 mins walkable to Morjim beach also the resort has designated parking no need to worry about your car just relax ***** the pool side buffet breakfast fast and lunch was mind blowing all together it was my most wonderful destination in Goa
Incredibly beautiful hotel. The territory drowns in green - breakfast is like in a tropical garden. And here the cheapest rooms, of course, are twisted in order... the absence of a balcony in them is also sad - luck dry really nowhere. Also our room went out windows on the road and without the beer was hard to sleep, despite the fact that the street is not central. About cleaning it is necessary to speak on the receptors or the cleaners themselves, otherwise they will not get away and will not bring towels and so on... Water is not in single bottles but in glass and if honestly it is strange tones - bought and drank their own). But these are the main shortcomings that were forgotten immediately when they went out into the inner courtyard.. Breakfasts I liked - lots of fresh vegetables, and this is rare in India. Omlet and eggs are cooked delicious, there is noutella )) We also had dinner and it was great when people were few and so fed on the menu - there are sandwiches, salads, fish, shrimp... and then people became more and for dinner also the Swedish table - and here almost all Indian, and even macarones often with a bunch of cut garlic((
Very pleasant manager. Intelligent cleaners, waiters and guards are the most cute.
In general, the hotel was very enjoyable, but outside ((the road to the beach though not long but dirty with trash and all the other beauty of India... to return to Goa while there is no wish
Andores Resort and Spa creates the perfect balance between gorgeous natural surroundings and refined comfort. The lush, beautifully landscaped territory immediately transports you to a world of peace away from the busy Calangute.
The spa is truly exceptional - professional treatments in a wonderfully calming atmosphere. What makes the stay special is the incredible staff - always friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring.
Ideal for those seeking both rejuvenation and natural beauty. Highly recommended!
Clean, fantastic food! Great pool. Would reccomend the free yoga sessions and the casino has a great deal for clients staying at the hotel!

GGuest UserHello! Russian staff does not say, early settlement for extra fee is impossible. Staff slow, room fund is very old and dry. Unfortunately, the photos on the website correspond to hotel rooms. The hotel is completely vegetarian, the only thing that pleases is the closest location to the beach from all the hotels nearby. I'm not sure if I'll go to this hotel again and not advise friends any more.
MMs. TRAVELLERA jewel of its own. Close your eyes and book it, you will thank me!!!
Everything, from the building, to the rooms, to the facilities, to the employees, to the surroundings, to the gardens, to the services, to the hospitality, to the food AAAAAAAAA+++ .
A big thank you to the reception manager, to the room service manager and to each & every employee! A place to be!!
Am coming back !
VVG travellerI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Colva, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail that this hotel offers. Here are some highlights from my stay:
1. **Exceptional Staff**: The staff at Courtyard by Marriott truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. They were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
2. **Excellent Cleanliness**: The hotel maintains an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. My room was spotless, and the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and pool, were immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for guests.
3. **Proximity to the Beach**: One of the best features of this hotel is its closeness to Colva Beach. Just a short walk away, the beach is easily accessible, making it perfect for a morning stroll or a sunset view. The convenience of being so close to the beach added a special touch to my stay.
4. **Comfortable Rooms**: The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the surroundings. It was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
5. **Dining Options**: The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, both local and international. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options to suit every palate.
Overall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott, Colva, was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and the prime location near the beach makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to both leisure and business travelers and look forward to staying here again in the future!
GGuest UserNothing at fault at all. Room was great so as the hotel itself and the location. Food was amazing . Lots of options including pancakes waffles egg Benedict and many more, all freshly backed, cooked .
Will defo go back there again if ever we visit Goa.
Hotel staff were also friendly, smart, passionate and respectful. Great experience over all.
GGuest UserPerfect location. Close to Panjim city, restaurants and ******s.

GgajumaruI booked a twin room, but there was only one bed, so they put in an extra bed. Be careful, the poolside chairs fill up quickly if you don't get there early! Everyone spoke English fluently and quickly, so I couldn't understand them, so I used the translation function to communicate. The facilities were clean and I was able to relax.
I woke up early in the morning looking forward to the yoga activity, but unfortunately there was no one there...
I was taken to the main gate of the hotel, and walked to the restaurants and supermarket, which was comfortable.
GGuest UserGot back from Planet Hollywood last week.
Location - this is a quite beach with beautiful small grain sand and clean. Many locals in the sea and clean. There are a couple of shacks each side on the hotel beach with beds and drinks and tables. Sunset is beautiful from here.
Hotel: On arrival we were greeted, luggage taken to our rooms. We had the luxury pool view room- good amount of space in the bedroom, lovely balcony over looking the pool, bathroom clean. Towels changed daily and cleaned well. If you want anything staff are more than happy to help.
Staff are extremely helpful - we had a couple of issues with the room, but turned out to be user errors. We had a maintenance chap in our room within minutes.
The food was absolutely divine - eastern and western palates catered for. Chef Veronus came to talk to us every day at breakfast, and also made us some dishes not on the menu - really delightful and exceedingly good!
The pool was very quite, but suited us.
April is wedding season and there were some weddings on during the day and evening, but this is in a separate part of the complex. We actually enjoyed watching elements from the side lines. The wedding decor was incredible.
We could not fault this hotel, we were taken care of so well!
DDanielAn absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially those looking to relax and unwind by the beach. Not ***y places in India are like this. The facilities and staff are all top notch. Very professional and polite. They took care of all our needs without hesitation. There's a nice garden to walk at night, with direct access to beach and security guards on both exits.
The resort had very ample variety of food, with different restaurants to choose from. Though perhaps a bit overpriced compared to equally good restaurants nearby.
Overall, I wished we had stayed a little longer but already had flights booked. Definitely will come back when I'm back in Goa.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Benaulim, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations typically associated with the Marriott brand. Upon arrival, I had to wait over 30 minutes for my room, which was frustrating after a long journey. When I was finally checked in, I was disappointed to find that the room was not properly cleaned — there were visible stains on the lamp, the bedside lamp wasn't functioning, and the room had an unpleasant odor. Throughout the stay, multiple electricity cut-offs during the day added to the overall inconvenience and discomfort. While I understand that occasional technical issues can arise, I felt the lack of attention to basic cleanliness and maintenance significantly impacted the quality of my stay. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall guest experience, as the location and property have potential.
DDinesh K R MWow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Keep up your good work and you will go a long way! Thank you also to the ***agement and team of Doubletree Goa!
