I reserved this hotel due to its location and its relatively low nightly rate (breakfast included). I had quite a good experience staying here.
It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Hisayaodori Subway Station. The check-in was self-service check-in, and it was pretty easy.
The room we reserved was relatively small, but clean and tidy, with enough space to open two 22” suitcases and arrange our belongings. As for everything else, we had what we needed, and I rested well.
The facilities and amenities were pretty much as advertised in the Services & Amenities section. However, there’s no designated smoking area, which I missed. The interesting thing is that it has a Shampoo Bar, which allows us to try out some shampoo products. I also enjoyed the public bath.
The breakfast tasted good. They offer buffet-style Japanese meals with a good selection of side dishes and drinks. One of the downsides is that the dining area is small, and at times it can be so crowded during breakfast that it’s hard to move around.
Located right next to the Ure River, with a nice view from the room. As it has only 5-6 rooms, it is pretty exclusive. You can use their 2 hotspring baths privately for 45mins each time, or you can take a short walk over to their 2 sister hotels for bigger hotspring baths. This is the only hotel in the Hazu Group that serves Medicinal Cuisine. As the hotel seems to be converted from a traditional old house, the stairways can be cramped and not suitable for bringing large suitcases, so just pack a small bag and leave the suitcase downstairs or in the car. Had a relaxing time there.
It's close to the station, so it's very convenient and easy to use. The environment is clean, and I used the large public bath, which was also well-maintained and very pleasant. Breakfast was free, and it was better than I expected. If I ever stay in Toyohashi again, this is a hotel I'd definitely like to use. (There's also a vending machine, as shown in the photo, which I think is convenient lol)

The hotel's location is pretty good, 1.3 km from the train station and 1.5 km from Matsuzakaya, making it convenient to get around. However, the layout of the hotel is quite baffling; the room is almost entirely taken up by the bathtub and toilet, and the soundproofing is extremely poor. The elevator is also incredibly slow, and the public bath is tiny. Avoid this place during Golden Week holidays.
Good value with exceptional service
We were extremely satisfied with the services and had a delightful experience in that hotel.
Our package included room, breakfast and dinner. Due to a minor traffic incident, we were unable to meet our dinner time of 6:00 pm. We contacted the hotel and they kindly accommodated us and provided attentive service. We were deeply touched by their care and consideration.
The assistance to report of the traffic incident to the local insurance company was unexpectedly smooth with the help of the staff. The language proficiency of the staff was impressive, as they efficiently resolved language-related issues we faced.
Furthermore, the traditional charm of the hotel exceeded our expectations and added to our enjoyment - good value.
We will recommend the hotel to others and look forward to visiting again in the future.
Special thanks to Ms. Oromo Rie, Mr. Toyama, and the staff responsible for our meals.
It was only about a 10-minute walk from Higashi-Okazaki station, making it a great location for getting around. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable!

Upon check-in, as there weren't enough rooms available due to the holiday, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a park view room for free. The room came with an open balcony facing the park, offering fresh air. The hotel staff provided excellent service. The hotel is located in the heart of Nagoya, right next to a subway station. It's just one subway stop from Sakae, and three stops from both Nagoya Castle and Kanayama Station, making it incredibly convenient. From the hotel, you can easily walk to major shopping centers like PARCO, Mitsukoshi Department Store, and Alpen Outdoors, and there are many great restaurants nearby. This is definitely the top choice for anyone visiting Nagoya for sightseeing, shopping, or attending concerts.

CCrazyKimThe room is spacious, clean with good facilites. There is outdoor public bath apart from the indoor one and this is exceptiknal with business hotels. The semi-buffet style breakfast with very fresh food is good value or money. The hotel is right in front of the Inuyama Station.

ごごまにゃんThe front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel's cleanliness and facilities were excellent throughout. The large public bath, which had a timed male/female rotation, was very hygienic in both the bathing area and changing room. It was spotlessly cleaned, making it very pleasant to use. My only complaint was the strong, mold-like smell from the shower curtain in our room's bathroom.
TTGaborVery good value for the money! You can book 15 days to make it cheaper. Hopefully they will fix that one broken washing machine by the time I'm back, because only 2 were working during my 3 weeks in Nagoya (mostly in this hotel). Two washing machines is not much for this many people. Also a small gym would be a good idea there - a Japanese man who I was talking to there, was also mentioning this. And thank you for the helpful staff (esp: Suzuki, Chie, Arjun)!

GGuest UserReally love this place it’s in a really narrow street but right in the middle and next to the Westport the amenities are generous great and I’ve never been in a sauna where you can actually see the ocean. They also have a big cold bath and in addition to do Hansen another hot bath next to the sauna they also play really nice music and From analog amplified hi-fi equipment that is top-notch. It’s a real pleasure, even though I’m not geek in that area.
The whole island is of course very small does not much to do and you have to go there if you really want to relax and just enjoy some seafood. There are not many restaurants in the area and I would recommend to just reserve food at the hotel I had to breakfast, which was outstanding. It was Shabu Shabu tako squid, and lots of other Japanese sites.

GGuest UserLast minute booked this hotel with onsen as this accommodation is the nearest to Nagoya station then. But it is still a 12 min walk from Meitetsu Nagoya (where you take the train to airport). Onsen is very small with 4 washing cubicles in the female. Amenities provided within the onsen are also limited eg 1 hair dryer with no seat. But the hot water relaxed the muscles after 1 day walking. I booked a bigger room that is meant for 2 to 4 pax. Comfortable stay, return your unused toothbrush and toothpaste in exchange fo a small treat. Welcome drink until 8pm is a plus point.
