This hotel is genuinely good. Even though the service industry in Japan generally maintains high standards, you can still feel a real sense of sincerity here. When I first checked in, it felt a bit dated, especially the elevator. The doors closed really fast, so you had to keep pressing the 'open' button. Several Japanese guests, being polite and letting others go first, ended up getting caught by the closing doors. The elevator also juddered when stopping at floors. Inside the room, the air conditioning wasn't warm enough, and I felt cold since the temperature had dropped. Following my usual practice, I gave the hotel some feedback and expressed my dissatisfaction. After a few exchanges, I found that they were very willing to resolve the issues. Specifically, on the second day of my stay, there was a mix-up with the travel agent, and my dinner reservation wasn't made. I had actually paid for dinner on both the second and third nights. When I approached the front desk about the problem, it was already past 5 PM, and I wanted to have dinner at 6 PM, so time was really tight. After some internal discussion, the hotel decided that since I had paid, they would figure out a way for me to have my meal, and then they would sort out the issue with the travel agent themselves later. At the time, I was quite upset and worried that a last-minute dinner might be subpar, as Japanese hotel restaurants usually prepare set meals in advance based on the number of guests. I also contacted Ctrip. The initial customer service representative had a rather indifferent attitude, but then another representative stepped in who was much more willing to please the customer, even offering compensation in the form of points. Customers understand that customer service reps also have tough jobs, but they still need to provide that emotional support, which is just how the market works. I also realized that in such situations, to get a meal, I still had to fight for my rights with the hotel myself, but I accepted Ctrip's small gesture of compensation. Later, when I went to the restaurant, I saw that a set meal had indeed been arranged for me. While it was a bit rushed and didn't have as much variety as other hotels, the portion size was generous, and the staff's service attitude was absolutely delightful. So, I didn't raise any more concerns. Overall, the hotel staff were truly dedicated to providing good service. The aging facilities are just something that can't be helped, and it's already one of the most prestigious hotels in the area, hosting many annual company parties and coming-of-age ceremonies. Despite some negative news, Ctrip remains the most user-friendly app. I travel frequently and often switch between different apps, but I always find Ctrip to be the most convenient. I hope Ctrip's service quality doesn't decline during this economic downturn.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It's nestled quietly on a hillside, directly facing Sakurajima, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the volcano erupting. The gentleman at the hotel entrance, dressed in an old-fashioned uniform, was so friendly. He saw us taking photos and specially came over to take a group picture for us, and it turned out great! The hotel offers various dining options and a convenience store. The breakfast, though, was the real highlight – easily one of the best quality breakfasts I've had in a Japanese hotel. The hot springs (onsen) were also wonderfully relaxing and fully equipped. Highly recommend!

I'm glad there's a hot spring and it's free to use. There's a coin laundry service. Everything on the breakfast buffet was delicious. I was glad they had chicken rice. I didn't get to try the ice cream or shaved ice, so I'd like to try those next time. The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I'm not sure how they serve the entire course meal in afternoon tea format. It would be nice if they offered more non-alcoholic drinks than just juices. It would be nice if they had more non-alcoholic cocktails. There's nothing nearby, but it's convenient because there's a decent selection of souvenirs. The bus to Kagoshima Airport is also a plus. I'd love to stay here again.

Tatami room, traditional Japanese style such as quilt, dokonomama ceramic decoration, long-standing Japanese life memories, hot spring baths called source water, breakfast restaurants decorated with Satsuma ceramics and pretty ceramic tableware are calmly dressed I admire the Chinese table and the hearty staff, and everything was good, especially the dinner with the sister restaurant Guwoo, and the kind host couple who treated me sincerely! A place I want to go again with my friends

This hotel has been newly renovated. It offers a magnificent view of Mount Takachiho. The air was fresh, the hotel was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very satisfying, but the beverage selection was a bit disappointing. The large public bath was spacious, so I enjoyed it leisurely. But they brought a lot of older boys to the women's bath, which was a bit inconvenient. ^^;; Overall, I was satisfied!

Peripheral functions are very convenient Nutritious and delicious breakfast There is a supplies area in the lobby on the first floor. Diverse brand categories In winter, there are also bath tablets that you can pick up if you need them. Intimate and convenient The room and restaurant are decorated with fresh flowers It’s beautiful and worthy of being a rose city. The counter staff can only communicate in Japanese Very kind I will still choose this hotel when I go on a business trip next time

I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kagoshima – it's incredibly convenient! They have a delicious local pork hotpot right in the hotel (reservations recommended, portions are small). After dinner, you can head to the supermarket next door for a stroll and find a fantastic selection of strawberries. Afterwards, just pop up to the 5th floor for a relaxing hot spring bath. There's a tram stop right outside the hotel, but for places like the aquarium and Sakurajima ferry terminal, it's a bit more convenient to take a taxi (around 1,000 yen, very close). On the day we left, the sun finally came out, and we got to enjoy a beautiful view of Sakurajima right from our room!

Stayed one night at the Kirishima Mountain La Vista Hotel, the environment is quiet, the front desk and restaurant staff are enthusiastic and polite, in addition to the public baths there are three private soups, no reservation, no one can use the reservation. After registration at the front desk, you can also enjoy a welcome drink, plum or other Japanese sake, and you can have coffee and tea with unlimited refills. There is also a private open-air bath in the room where you can soak in a hot spring. The hot spring water is very hot, so be careful. Enjoy Italian cuisine at the restaurant on the night of your stay, six courses are very delicious, and ramen for supper from 10pm to 11pm. Breakfast the next morning was also very rich. This stay was a very good experience and would choose to stay here if there is a next time.

ZzizibehappyA hot spring hotel near the sea, a ten-story Japanese-style sea view room, with an unobstructed sea view outside the window, the scenery is very good. I gave you a sand bath coupon for the hotel's own sand bath hot spring, so you don't even have to go to the Sand Le Hall. The specialty of Ibusuki is the sand bath. You can’t take pictures, so just use the pictures on the official website to take a look. You can soak for ten minutes at most, half the amount for children, and a staff member will wake you up when the time is up. The swimming pool is open during this season. The hotel has a free shuttle service to Ibusuki Station in the morning, leaving at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You need to make a reservation one day in advance. Dinner was Satsuma cuisine, which was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Breakfast is buffet style. The Iwasaki Hotel next door actually had small fireworks on 8.12 nights, and I was lucky enough to catch them. The foreign girl at the front desk speaks very good English. She introduced herself as an expatriate from Dubai who has been working in Japan for 5 years. Now she speaks Japanese better than English 🙂
