Absolutely loved this hostel! It's conveniently located near the bus station and Takashimaya. It's only about a 7-8 minute walk to JR Yonago, and Kaike is also not far, probably around 10-15 minutes away (I can't recall the exact time).
The space is very generous, and I appreciated having my own desk. The complimentary hot spring bath was absolutely perfect! They even provided a gym pass, though I didn't have time to use it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent value for money!
The hotel has a great location, near the JR station, within a 10-minute walk. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store across the street, and a food street nearby with many restaurants, making it very convenient.
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, the environment is quiet, and the rooms are spacious. The onsen (hot spring) deserves special praise; although small, it's very comfortable, perhaps because it wasn't too crowded. I used it every night during my three-night stay, and there's also a small sauna. What I appreciated most was the self-service machine selling Daiyama milk in the basement common area; the milk was delicious, and they also had other drinks and Daiyama ice cream.
The staff were very polite and helpful. The price was reasonable, and I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again if I had the chance.
I stayed for two consecutive nights. Universal, a chain hotel, seemed popular with business travelers. Unfortunately, I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor. The entire hallway was damp, musty, and had an unpleasant odor. The room itself was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on Ctrip. What made it worse was that it was a smoking room, and the smell was incredibly foul – impossible to get rid of even with the window open. On the positive side, complimentary breakfast and dinner were offered.
The hotel is situated at the middle level of Daisen, only 30 mins drive from Yonago city. It is a big complex with a lot of rooms. The best view rooms are probably those facing the sea. Ours faces Daisen Mountain, which is not bad either. It gave me a sense of tranquility. The onsen is awesome with both outdoor and indoor pools. The showering area is spacious too. The room is in a very decent size. It was amply sufficient for three of us. Adding points to this review is the 3 hours of happy hours, with unlimited flow of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. The panoramic view restaurant was quite a nice place for relaxing. Another point to add is the 11:00 o'clock check-out time, unlike other hotels in Yonago at 10:00. Overall, if you book the hotels well in advance, it's a pretty good deal.
Location
The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from the train station, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
Dining
One of the highlights was the free ramen offered at night—such a nice touch! Breakfast was also fantastic, featuring a wide range of choices that catered to all tastes.
Amenities
The onsen was a perfect way to relax after a long day. The soothing hot springs really added to the overall experience.
View
The views from the hotel were stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop during my stay.
Overall
This hotel exceeded my expectations with its great location, delicious food, and relaxing amenities. I highly recommend it!
The rooms are clean, the location is convenient and easy to find, and there's parking behind the ryokan. The staff are excellent and friendly (though their English isn't fluent). The food is delicious and good value for money. The hot spring bath isn't very big, but the facilities are good. Recommended for those looking for a ryokan in Tootori.
Located in the Sanchao Hot Spring District, not far from the old street, you can visit the hot spring area
There is a parking lot diagonally opposite the hotel
No elevator in the hotel
Staff will assist with luggage upstairs
But after checking out, you have to carry your luggage downstairs.
It was a plan with breakfast.
I went to eat at a nearby iron plate shop at night.
It was great if there was an elevator,,,

Privacy and beautiful of Onsen, The staff were attentive, highly caring, and provided recommendations for tourist attractions and activities during our stay . Recommend for everyone.
I stayed for one night from January 31st. The inn is a very historic building, and it has about five different indoor baths, including a slightly larger public bath, which I was very happy with. The meals were served in a private room, and there were many appetizers and fish dishes, which were excellent. Due to the heavy snow, there wasn't much to see around the inn, so I spent my time in a very quiet atmosphere. I would like to visit again during the warmer season.
Facilities: First of all! Loud reminder: This Japanese-style single room only has a wash basin on the balcony, no bathroom 🛀🚽, you have to go to the public toilet in the corridor to use the toilet Environment: A hot spring area with a long history. There is a beautiful river outside the door and the red leaves on the mountain are pleasing to the eye. Walking around, you can see many traditional shops. There is a violin museum next door which is worth a visit. There are also red leaves around the hotel, especially the red leaves outside the balcony reflected in the mirror, which made me ignore the inconvenience of not having a toilet. Services: A hot spring fee of 150 yen was charged upon check-in, and a nightgown and disposable items were provided. The hotel's hot spring pool is not big and there are not many people. The hotel has a car that provides scheduled round-trip transportation to JR Kurayoshi Station. There are 2 trips a day. Please check the official website for the specific time. The room is very formal with tea sets in tea boxes, and there are also local specialty White Rabbit snacks, which are very detailed.
