Pleasant and Comfortable Stay Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and generally well maintained. The hotel environment was also nice and relaxing, making it a good place to unwind and enjoy a short getaway. The breakfast was acceptable, although the selection was quite limited and could be improved with more variety. Nevertheless, the food was sufficient for a simple breakfast. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a pleasant atmosphere. A wider breakfast selection would make the experience even better.

Beautiful British-style resort with a charming colonial design and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are lovely, and there are plenty of amenities. The gym is quite nice, and the highlight for us was definitely the afternoon tea. We also enjoyed playing pool in the lounge area. The only downside was the breakfast service. Some staff came across as a little passive-aggressive and impatient when we mistakenly said the wrong item from the menu. The service could definitely be warmer and more understanding. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay with great ambiance.

Birthday Stay at Kasturi Cherating 🌴 We went to Kasturi Cherating to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, the buggy picked us up from the parking area and brought us to the lobby. We received a welcome drink, although it was a little too sweet for my liking. Interestingly, the buggy driver was also the one who assisted us with the check-in process. This gave me the impression that the resort might be slightly understaffed, as the same staff seemed to be handling multiple roles. We had to wait for almost an hour as it wasn’t quite time for check-in yet. While waiting, we were served complimentary tea, which was actually really good. Then we headed to our villa. The room was spacious and had a beautiful beach view, which I really loved. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the villa. There were visible stains on the floor, especially in the bathroom, and we also experienced leaking from the ceiling. It was a shame because the room itself had so much potential. For breakfast, the selection was quite limited and the food was not particularly impressive. I was expecting more variety and better quality, especially for a 5-star resort. Overall, we still had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. However, considering the price we paid, the overall experience did not really feel like a 5-star resort. I was expecting a more luxurious experience, better-maintained facilities, higher cleanliness standards and service that matches the 5-star positioning. I hope the management can look into the staffing, maintenance, cleanliness and food quality. The resort has a beautiful setting and great potential, and I would definitely love to visit again if these areas are improved. Cleanliness: 6/10 Food: 5/10 Room: 9/10 Overall: 7/10

The hotel has an excellent location, and I highly recommend booking a room on one of the higher floors, where you can enjoy a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by mist and clouds. The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, making the stay comfortable. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited and could definitely be improved. Overall, a pleasant stay with a fantastic location and a unique atmosphere, especially on the higher floors.

Colmar Tropicale is so beautiful! The view is amazing, feels like you are really in France. The buildings are colorful and perfect for photos. We also loved the food, many nice options and everything was delicious. Great place to relax, enjoy the cool air and nice scenery. A must visit in Bukit Tinggi! Will come again.

Best accomodation ever had to Kuantan. Excellent vacation with seaview room in village 1. Came to celebrate my son's 1year-old birthday. Staff reception is top notch, checking process is smooth. Breakfast has plenty of choice, with fresh juices and coffee machine served. Crowded with people on Sunday morning. Beds are comfy and clean. Walking distance to restaurants within the compound. The staff at restaurant are friendly and kind, gave us complementary slice cake for my boy's birthday.We loved the dining experience. The only thing to improve is the small fridge in hotel. It can be colder for us to store breast milk and to keep the ice gel packs frozen, please upgrade the fridge to have freezer so that we could keep milk well along journey back.

This hotel had been on our list for a long time, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. From the outside, it looks a little dated and even slightly intimidating, but once we stepped into our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautifully designed with a modern and romantic touch, and it was exceptionally clean. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit. Although there was an event that continued until around midnight, it did not affect our stay at all. Once we closed the bedroom door, the room was well insulated and we could hardly hear any noise. The only minor issue was that the ceiling fan was a little noisy. We also ordered room service, and the food was delicious. While the prices were on the higher side, that is to be expected for a hotel of this standard. The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, overlooking lush greenery and giving the feeling of being surrounded by a forest. One thing to be mindful of is the monkeys. Avoid opening the windows, as they may enter the room, and try not to carry bags openly while walking along the corridors, as the monkeys are known to grab them. The breakfast was good, although we felt the selection could be improved with a wider variety of choices. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable room and peaceful atmosphere made for a memorable experience. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Overall, we had a good stay at Paya Beach Resort. We visited during the off-peak weekday period, so it was very quiet and peaceful—perfect if you’re looking to relax and avoid crowds. One downside was the number of mosquitoes, especially when opening the door, so that’s something to be mindful of. Another small issue was the exit green light in the room—it couldn’t be turned off at night, which felt a bit unusual and slightly disruptive when trying to sleep. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was enjoyable with a good selection of options. Overall, a nice and tranquil place to stay, with a few minor areas that could be improved.
