Anonymous UserWe had an amazing stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort! The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning sea views. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The swimming pools, beach, and family-friendly facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast had a good variety of delicious food. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Anonymous UserLove the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature.
HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby.
Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

Grace PangiranWe stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

The spa was a fantastic and unique experience, and the sunset on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was decent too. Our room was very close to the lobby. However, there's one thing to be aware of: service charges and taxes can be applied multiple times. For instance, after paying for the spa, an additional 10% was added to the final bill. Just a small heads-up for everyone! It was truly a happy trip 😁, but all that happiness definitely came with a price. In the end, our on-island expenses were even higher than the room rate! 😅

Anonymous UserIt was ok, very basic. Lots of drinking water.
Cons:
- Bathroom could do with upkeep, massive hole between door and door frame. Should be a full sized door. Not hygienic.
- Two single beds but they are tiny. Not comfortable for two adults to sleep in.
- Small TV, not even a modern TV. For hotels price, should at least have a decent TV.
- Soundproofing not great but was quiet during our time.
- music in hallways was kept on all night, we had to tell them to turn it off...
- we could smell smoke inside our room & bathroom from other people smoking in their rooms
- Breakfast was AWFUL, even if included it's better to go out for food. Hygiene in buffet for breakfast was poor, with flies in the fruit and salad.
- Front desk staff not very supportive or helpful.

ChristylsmVery suitable for families staying. Only one minute walk to the theme park. It is convenient for us and there is no need to drive here and there, and save a lot of time to reach the theme park.

Guest UserRecommend if you are looking for a short trip, location is convenient, can go many places for food hunting. Best part is free complimentary tickets for Lost world Hot Spring and Night Park. We enjoyed ourselves with the petting zoo, hot springs and fire shows. The animals inside are very cute… Room is clean and staffs are friendly there. Feel warm as insect repellent lotion is provided. 👍

BalkhisHamidHere’s a polished, warm version you can send—friendly, appreciative, and clear 🌷

The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of vegetables for the salad. The Singapore-style bihun goreng was so yummy! However, the rice for the nasi lemak tasted a little bit unusual.
My kids really enjoyed the cereal, bihun goreng, bread with jam, and the pastries.
Plus, near the hotel, there were plenty of restaurant and kiosk options around the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah area. At night, you can rent bicycles, buggies, and other vehicles to ride around the roundabout—it was so much fun! There was even a small train, which the kids absolutely loved.
In the morning, after our wonderful breakfast, my kids and I went back to the roundabout for a brisk walk and spent some time at the playground. It was really enjoyable and a great way to start the day.
I would also like to send my appreciation to Trip.com customer service. The staff responded to my issue promptly and truly tried their best to resolve it. I’m very happy and grateful for the support from Trip.com. Keep up the great service!

Guest UserThe hotel is located slightly off the town center. Room is decent with comfortable beds. However, the lights in the room and bathroom are very dim, more like a night club atmosphere.
The hairdryer is faulty..it can only operate for a few seconds, then it turned off by itself.
The room can be quite noisy as it faces the main road.
However, breakfasts were decent with generous servings. It's not buffet style, but it's like a set lunch style, served by a robot.
