Overall, it's okay. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Even though it's an older hotel, it's still decent. It's near the Shah Alam mosque and next to a shopping complex. There are many dining options, including food trucks in the residential area behind the hotel.

Pls have a look if you are planning to book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had at a 5-STAR HOTEL! The problems started from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist told me that the system was down and was unable to check me in. After trying & waiting for a while, she switched to another computer to complete the check-in. I had to wait around 7 mins just for what should have been a simple check-in. After finally getting my room key, I thought I could finally go to my room and rest at around 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, things only got worse. My initial room was on the 5th/6th floor (can’t remember exactly). When I entered, I was shocked to find that the room had clearly not been cleaned or prepared at all. It was basically left in the same condition as the previous guest had left it. The rubbish had not been cleared, the bedsheet had not been changed, and the blanket was even lying on the floor. The room was dirty & messy, which completely ruined my mood. I immediately tried to contact reception using the room phone, but the phone system also appeared to have a problem. I called three times without answering and only managed to get through on the fourth attempt. When I explained the situation, the receptionist sounded confused and seemed unaware of what had happened. I requested a room change and was told to come back down to reception. When I arrived, the staff there also seemed unaware of the situation. I had to explain everything again. One staff member then went to another staff member, who came over and asked me again what had happened. At that point, I was already very tired and frustrated from having to repeat the same explanation multiple times. After waiting for quite some time, I was told that there were no more king-size rooms available and that they could only offer me a twin room. By then, I was exhausted and simply wanted to rest, so I accepted it. Considering that the initial room was not ready due to the hotel’s own housekeeping issue, I honestly expected at least some gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary upgrade or compensation. But that was fine. I was eventually assigned Room 719. Before I left reception, the staff simply said “sorry.” The housekeeping situation was especially disappointing. I arrived at around 6:30 PM, while the hotel’s check-out time is 12 PM. There should have been plenty of time for the room to be cleaned and prepared. Yet I was given a room that had apparently not been serviced at all. I could even see housekeeping staff walking around the floor. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and room was also far from satisfactory. The facilities looked old and poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper, a damaged chair cushion, dirty carpets, and an air-conditioning system with a noticeable mouldy smell. The lobby looks reasonably well renovated, but the condition behind the surface is a completely different story. For a hotel that has only been operating for a little over 10 years, the level of deterioration and lack of maintenance is difficult to accept. What disappointed me most was that this was not just one isolated issue. The check-in process was inefficient, communication between staff was poor, the room was not ready, housekeeping was inadequate, and the room itself was poorly maintained. This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced.

May 8, 2026. I checked in around 8 PM. Even though there weren't many people waiting, it still took about 30 minutes to process, which is longer than other hotels. What's more, after completing the check-in, the staff told me the room wasn't clean yet and therefore unavailable. I was speechless. I had to get the room after dinner. Also, when I checked in, I asked if a twin room was possible, and the staff said yes. But when I got to the room, it turned out to be a single room. If they had just told me no from the start, I wouldn't have been disappointed. It felt like they don't care about guests' needs. Actually, the hotel is great in other aspects: the room is large, clean, and the pool is beautiful, perfect for kids. It's also close to the mall, making dining and shopping convenient.

The hotel facilities are satisfactory, and the pool and gym equipment are well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options, and the taste is suitable for Hongkongers. It's super convenient to get to the theme park, just across the road. Walking to the mall only takes about three minutes, and there are plenty of restaurant choices inside. However, transportation is a bit inconvenient; I'd basically recommend taking a taxi to get there.

We came here for a quick, totally unplanned getaway with the family and ended up having a really good time. We booked 3 rooms, and the resort worked really well for a family trip. The location is probably one of the best things about the resort. It’s close to the city and all the activities, but once you’re inside the resort, the city is mostly out of view, so it still feels like a proper getaway. The food was surprisingly good. We went to Ahan twice, once for dinner and again for lunch and enjoyed both visits. The hotel breakfast was fine too, with plenty of choices, although nothing particularly special. The buggy service was helpful whenever one was available. During busier times, it could be a little difficult to get one, so we simply used our own car to get around the other areas. It wasn’t really a problem for us. There are plenty of activities around. We went go-karting, played golf, took the kids to the waterpark, and tried the VR, which was actually really fun. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for VR a second time! Another nice touch is the 24-hour self-service shop. Late at night, we even ordered pizza for the kids, and surprisingly, Grab delivery was able to reach the resort. Overall, there are plenty of activities, restaurants and different types of rooms to choose from. For an unplanned family getaway, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

We used the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport for a short overnight stay before our connecting flight and were generally satisfied. The hotel is very practical for a stay near the airport. The rooms were clean, functionally furnished, and perfectly adequate for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't make use of the breakfast due to our early departure. The uncomplicated location in conjunction with an early departure the next morning was particularly important to us. For that purpose, the hotel is very well suited. From our perspective, anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced airport hotel for a stopover can definitely choose the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport. staffs are friendly and helpful 👍 you can feel that the hotel is slightly old however overall it's not too bad. drainage (sink & shower) is slow as it's probably clogged. we informed the concierge and they managed to solve it. wide variety of breakfast foods too. enjoyed the short 3d2n stay

To be honest, this hotel's facilities are quite dated, and its location is pretty much ”secluded from the world,” making dining and shopping inconvenient. However, putting those points aside, it's actually a great place to unwind! Even though it's old, it's kept reasonably clean. And precisely because it's off the beaten path, it's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions, which makes you feel very welcome. If you're not looking for hustle and bustle and just want a quiet place for a getaway and perhaps play some golf, this place can still offer a good experience.

Great Stay at a Brand New Hotel – Comfortable, Spacious & Family-Friendly! We stayed at the KSL Esplanade Hotel for a family trip of 4 and booked the 2-Bedroom Suite. Since it’s a newly opened hotel, all the facilities were sparkling clean and in top-notch condition. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return! Room & Amenities: The suite was fantastic. The highlight was the master bathroom's oversized bathtub—extremely spacious and luxurious! Toiletries were generous, and the shower gel and shampoo smelled amazing. They also thoughtfully provided large eco-friendly glass bottles of drinking water. Soundproofing & Layout: Outstanding sound insulation! My kids were watching TV in the adjoining room at a loud volume, but we couldn't hear a thing from our bedroom. The suite comes with 3 bathrooms (including a powder room in the living room), which was super convenient for a family of four. Bed & Sleep Quality: The bed was remarkably comfortable—we all slept soundly through the night. The only tiny improvement would be adding extra pillows, as each bed only had one. Breakfast: Included in our room price (around 750 per night standard, though I managed to reduce it to 650 with promos and Trip Coins). At ~45 per head, the breakfast feels a bit overpriced unless you are a big eater, especially with so many dining options at the adjacent shopping mall. Parking & Accessibility: Parking is shared with the mall and can be quite confusing on your first visit due to unclear directional signs. It might be slightly inconvenient for families with toddlers and heavy luggage. Also, elevators can be a bit slow during peak hours, but they run very fast otherwise (from G to 21st floor). Overall, a solid option in Klang with impressive rooms and comfortable bedding. Highly recommended!

This is a budget-friendly and older hotel, but all amenities are kept clean. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The pools on the 3rd floor are quite large, and the water temperature is comfortable. It's a perfectly suitable, inexpensive place for a layover between flights. We booked it for 10,000 rubles per night without breakfast, which I consider an optimal price; it wouldn't be worth more.
