Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek

There are two Hilton hotels next to each other. From one lobby to the other lobby it takes 1 minute walking. The hotel is new. The rooms are spacious. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure. Wi-Fi reception is very good. The pool is located on the first floor. The gym is closed, but they give you the option of using the other Hilton's gym. Breakfast is basic: Tea, coffee, eggs, sausages, fruit and breads. I wrote to the hotel to ask if they had gluten-free options and they replied yes. When we arrived they had no gluten free options. On the last day of my stay they went to the other Hilton and brought me some gluten-free bread. The location of the hotel is good, steps from one of the main streets with shopping centers and restaurants, the German church, the Building that North Korea built in Windohek and some cafes. The rooms are soundproof, which makes it very quiet and you sleep very well. The photos that appear on Trip.com should be updated, since several correspond to the other Hilton Hotel. Here I pass photos of the Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek building.

Excellent service received by Rodney at the Mecure Nomad restaurant. Highly recommend him as a server. He is highly attentive, patient, detail oriented and kind. The hotel restaurant is also very family friendly which is great for family outings.

Accommodation began with a scandal - they didn’t want to put me in a 4-star building (reserved), sending me to a nearby motel with dark rooms and bars on the windows! Thanks to the tripkom team - they simply broke the local manager and transferred me to the court building. The hotel is located right at a small airport (no more than 10 local flights per day), clean room. The hotel had an amazing breakfast with lots of cereals, salads, fruits! Thanks for that! Although the dinner (called in the room) was very average in quality. Even the steak (which Namibia usually knows how to cook) was inedible!

Very bad experience. Broke into my vehicle that was parked inside there parking area. All my camping gear was stolen. No security cameras. Reported to the Hotel management. Was there a week later to follow up regarding my claim. Until today no feedback. Will not recommend.

Breakfast is very good, a wide variety, most like hot milk and cereals, the hotel's environment is superb, the location is next to a golf course, the environment is very good, the hotel has ATM machines can directly use the credit card to pick up the local currency, but there is a fee This is also more cost-effective than changing the US dollar at the counter. A cash withdrawal fee is about 3 knives, but you can basically buy the card and use less cash. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel, it tastes good.
