It was a good stay at Grand Westside Hotel. It was a weekend stay so I expect it to be busy. I queued for about 30 mins and another 30 mins at the reception because the other connecting room I booked wasn’t ready yet. I arrived at around 2:30 pm and checked in past 3:30 pm. They only gave one room, but promised to give the keycards for the other room asap but they gave it so late, it was around 6pm. They offered to give us late check out until 1pm next day. But I think it’s not compensated fairly. I also emailed ahead for a complimentary cake for our Wedding Anniversary, and request it also upon check in and said they will have it deliver to our room next day, but no complimentary cake received. I’m a bit dismayed. Overall, i’ll give it a 7.5/10. An improvement for the customer service is needed.

This hotel is incredibly close to the airport, right across from it. I stayed on the eighth floor, and the soundproofing was decent, but it couldn't block out the motorbike noise. The service was generally good. However, there was a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the hairdryer's power was a bit weak. They offer in-room massage services, but you have to go to the front desk to pay by card immediately after your massage. The pool is shallow, with live music by the poolside, and it's quite enjoyable for a swim, but it closes at 8 PM, so you have to make the most of it. Also, despite being close to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), the pedestrian walkways aren't very convenient; you often encounter obstacles that force you onto the road. Taking a taxi would be a better option.

We stayed at The Manila Hotel as a couple with one infant and had a very positive experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the facilities felt grand and culturally rich rather than modern, and the location is central, great for nearby parks but challenging due to Manila traffic. The highlight was the breakfast, which was outstanding and easily the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had.

My kids and i celebrated new year here. From the moment i entered and left, all was exceptional. The warm greetings of staff, their pleasant smiles and assistance, as well as the nice scent upon entering the hotel and on our floor left an impact. The scent is mild and calming to the senses. The pool was also squeaky clean. A well scented hotel can give a huge impact on customers like me, who’s sensitive on smell. Overall, stay was enjoyable and unforgetable, clean and well scented. Will definitely come back and recommend. Kudos to this hotel staff for maintaining the place so well! Thank you!

I recently stayed at City Garden Suites and would like to share both a commendation and some constructive feedback regarding my experience. First, I would like to highly commend Ms. Zsan for her outstanding service. After being assigned to a room that, while clean, had an unpleasant odor, I approached the front desk again for assistance. Ms. Zsan handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. She went beyond simply checking the system—she actively coordinated with housekeeping via radio to personally verify room availability. Her initiative, attentiveness, and willingness to help truly define excellent customer service. She made us feel heard and valued, and her dedication reflects the kind of frontline service that leaves a lasting positive impression. On the other hand, I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding my experience with Ms. Acel. As a guest, first impressions matter, and my initial interaction with her during check-in was not very reassuring. When I inquired about the possibility of being assigned to a newly renovated room, I was informed that none were available, without much effort to further check or explore options. This gave me the impression that my request was not fully considered. The following day, when I needed to extend my stay, I spoke with her over the phone and requested an update regarding my concern, emphasizing the urgency as I needed to secure the current room rate online. However, after waiting for around 30 minutes without any callback, I had to follow up myself. During the follow-up, she asked for details I had already communicated earlier, which made it seem like the information was not properly noted or attended to. On the third day, I needed to extend my booking again. To avoid the same experience, I went directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, she was again the one available. Despite my previous experience, I still chose to give her another chance, hoping for a better interaction. However, the experience remained the same. Because of this, instead of extending my stay further, I decided to transfer to another hotel. I hope this feedback is received constructively. Frontline staff play a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. While Ms. Zsan demonstrated exceptional service and professionalism, there is an opportunity for improvement in consistency, attentiveness, and proactive assistance. With the right focus on these areas, guest satisfaction can be greatly enhanced.

The hotel is great! Even though it's an older property, the facilities are still very good, and the breakfast spread is excellent. It's located right next to Koreatown, and you just have to cross the street to get to Manila Bay – it's the perfect spot for stunning sunset photos. The lobby staff are also incredibly welcoming.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Overall, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was decent but could definitely be improved. There were not many fruit options, and the breakfast selection mostly consisted of heavy meals like rice, noodles, sushi, and cakes. It was filling if you enjoy those kinds of breakfast foods, although it may not suit everyone. The hotel was very busy during all the days we stayed, so the breakfast area and common spaces were often crowded. Our room itself was fine — the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was strong, and the toilet had a bidet, which was a nice touch. We also had a balcony facing Manila Bay and the swimming pool, and the view was lovely. The location was also a bit inconvenient as it is away from the city centre and main road, so we had to rely on GRAB transport services to get around. Unfortunately, the biggest downside for us was the noise. The hotel is pet-friendly, but they do not have designated floors for guests with pets. The receptionist informed us that all guests are mixed together. They also do not have a designated quiet floor. Because the walls are not very soundproof, we could clearly hear conversations from the next room, dogs barking, and children running along the corridor at night. We were unlucky to be placed near a dog that barked frequently, which made it difficult to rest and sleep properly. We reported the issue, and the staff did respond and likely spoke with the other guests, but of course it is difficult to fully control noise from children and pets. Another issue was that the lobby is located on a different floor level, so security did not seem very strict. Guests were able to bring multiple visitors into their rooms quite easily, and unfortunately some of them were noisy and loud late at night. Overall, while the staff service and the location/view were good, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and restful stay, and unfortunately we would not stay here again.

GGuest UserThe room is incredibly spacious, and the hotel itself is very luxurious. It's directly connected to Newport Mall, which is fantastic because you don't even need to go outside to access it. Newport Mall has a ton of entertainment, dining options, and even a casino. It's very upscale, the most premium mall in the Philippines.

SSAGERISTI recently had the pleasure of staying at a property with truly amazing amenities. The location is very accessible to AyalaMalls Manila Bay, making it convenient for shopping and dining activities. The hospitable personnel made the experience even more enjoyable, offering warm and attentive service throughout my stay. The ambiance of the place is very pleasant, giving a sense of comfort and relaxation. I particularly appreciated the spacious room, which provided plenty of space to unwind and feel at home. AAnonymous UserOverall great location, 711 accessible, same building. Ayala Malls 5 mins walk, Parqal closed by. MOA - great for morning walk / exercise, back and forth Only downside - you can hear people moving and talking outside your room, sometimes bathroom will smell of smoke (possibly from the exhaust) Lobby - warm and welcoming Employees - all respectable Room - clean, cozy, relaxing Table space - great specially for those who are working Room Wifi - can be a bit unstable but overall great connection, choose 5g option for a more stable connection Bed - king size with 4 pillows and warm duvet cover 2 sofa bed - can make larger beds with two sofa beds available in the room (you can request them to arrange this before your check in) Bathroom - clean, warm and cold water, with hair dryer, towels can be replaced upon request for additional cost, standard set for hygiene care (toothbrush, toothpaste) Fridge - available, just need to plug it in when you arrive TV - only cable channel, no netflix or other streaming app Safety deposit box - available Swimming Pool - not heated, very cold, great in summer or hot weather Breakfast - Buffet, a few selection but has appetizers (salad, fruits), main dish, desserts, drinks, coffee, cereals. Overall great food.

GGuest UserThere was a problem with the toilet overflowing from the base. It smelled a bit, so I contacted the front desk and they cleaned it right away. However, since it was a malfunction of the toilet, I received another cleaning service, and it was an old issue, so the back of the toilet was stained brown with grime. Other than that, everything else was great. The shopping mall and concert venue were very close. The prices at the shopping mall are pretty much the same as in Korea. A bowl of ramen costs over 10,000 won, and drinks are typically 5,000-6,000 won. They barely sell any plain food. There are no salad specialty stores, and even sandwiches are mayo-based by default, so I struggled with the food more than expected. This isn't really hotel-related, but I'm leaving it for those who are coming for events. I accidentally booked a cheap hotel far away and stayed there for a day, but my condition worsened, so I couldn't stay there anymore. I quickly moved here and found peace. It was clean, pleasant, and cool enough even without turning on the air conditioning, by my standards. The front desk service was also good. There's a Starbucks on the first floor and a Muji Cafe on the second floor. The coffee at Muji tasted better and was cheaper. The caffeine was super strong, and it had a big awakening effect on me, but everyone can choose what they like. There are many places to eat. The value for money wasn't great, but I was satisfied because the walking distance was short.
