Guest UserVery tired hotel in an excellent location. We booked a corner suite for our family, but were disappointed to find that several basic amenities were missing upon arrival, including hand soap, lotion, and slippers — items that would normally be expected at a standard 5-star hotel.
Cleanliness was also inconsistent throughout the stay. Considering the high room rates, the overall experience did not feel like good value for money.
Another frustrating issue involved the destination fee credits. We were informed at check-in that the daily credits could be used toward room service and other charges. However, upon checkout, we were unexpectedly billed for items that should have been covered by those credits.
Although I had prepaid the room and associated charges in advance, the hotel still placed the usual deposit hold on my credit card. At checkout, staff initially told us everything was settled correctly. Fortunately, based on a previous experience at another hotel in NYC, I requested a copy of the final bill to verify that the deposit would be refunded correctly. That was when I discovered the incorrect room service charges.
The matter was eventually resolved after some discussion, but I would strongly recommend that guests carefully review their final bill before leaving the hotel.

Location was perfect, quincy food market next door. Plenty of good restaurants around. Walking distance to little Italy and state house to follow freedom trail. In terms of the Hotel, gym is small, only few machines in so you need to time it well to use it if you don't want go share it with others. Room was big, dated. Our room smelt, we could not establish why. Also we could not open our balcony door to get fresh air. We spoke to the reception and they offered to sent someone but nobody showed up. We pulled up with the smell by using AC. However without fresh air we struggled to sleep as was either got to hot or to cold. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was cleaned every day, bed was done, fresh towels and toiletries change every day. Fridge in our room was broken so we could not use it to store cold water. Staff overall was very nice. They have suitcase storage which made things easy. We had our flight in the evening and full day go still enjoy Boston. Check out is at 12 which leaves you with plenty of time in the morning if you wish go have slow morning.

An excellent hotel in Boston! It comes equipped with various amenities (which is rare for North American hotels). The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the dining service is superb. Room service delivers excellent food. Highly recommended!

It’s a beautiful hotel. Room is nice and comfy. Location is perfect.
However, service is terrible. Like a 3-star hotel.
When we arrived, there was no doorman at the door to help with luggages. After a 24-hour door to door travel, we had to carry our luggages up and still no one offered help.
Housekeeping was not a 5-star ranking standard. Bedsheets were not changed even on the 5th night I stayed.
From day 2, we have to call front desk to replenish water everyday. If u don’t call, no water is replenish.
A request of a kettle took 30 mins.
We ordered a few packages from Amazon and Target, took them two whole days to check where are the packages. Called front desk 3 times, went down to talk face to face with front desk 2 times. Finally they found it and brought it to the room.

The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Unfortunately our room had a few faults. The AC unit was extremely loud. The motor on the fridge was also very noisy. It made sleep a bit difficult. Our unit faces the loading bay of the healthcare center next door. So each morning, we are awakened by the early shift’s arrival. The free breakfast was good for the first couple days. But the lack of variety after one week was a bit disappointing. There is a Star Market and a Target not too far away from the hotel.

Overall a good experience for a pricey hotel in Boston. I think they are all quite expensive. Nice hotel and staff. Food and bar good. Liked the “free” tea/coffee, water and snacks, and rooftop pool and bar. I think that’s why they charge an amenity fee. No smoking at the rooftop pool/bar which was a pain. They should set aside a small corner for smokers as it’s outside after all.
I think the bathroom/shower facilities could be updated. The functioning of it seemed outdated and tricky to work. We only had a trickle of cold water coming out of our sink tap which was annoying.
Overall though a good experience for our 3 nights in Boston.

Guest UserWe had numerous issues on arrival, check in was v slow. I asked for the sofa bed to be made up and had to ask 3 more times - 4 different members of staff and in the end had to speak to manager. Another guests eye drop bottle was under the bed and the toilet was dirty. We had asked earlier about moving rooms & was told none were available !! Suddenly the manager found a room and so we were moved !!!!
When the sofa bed was made up there was only about 30cm to squeeze past it to exit the roof - very risky if we needed to exit the room in an emergency. There was definite communication issues between front of house and house keeping.

Trip saverCredits for food variety for the morning bf , complimentary snacks upon check in and free evening reception and free shuttle service to and from airport. Disappointed with reception poor services. Prepaid 3 nites room charges but only activated my room card for a night. Felt bad especially we had a day out coming back exhausted during night unable to enter the room, need to walk down and request for the key update which experienced unfriendly and rude management staff without apologies for the incident happen, in return asking back, what do you want me to do now?

Rooms are nice, water park is good, arcade was fun. Restaurant was horrible. Very under staffed, waited for 20 mins for our drinks, which was water with lemon and then another 40 mins for our food which came out cold. And loud, it's so loud. We have an autistic son and we asked several hotel workers for help. Can we sit away from the live music...no. Instead they seated us directly in the middle of the whole restaurant. They could've had more activities for families since it's the winter. We tried it and it's not our cup of tea.
