Really welcoming staff who made it easy for us to check in early. They had confirmed prior to the trip that we would be able to drop off our bags, but as our room was ready, allowed the weary travelers to check in.ideal for us post Boston marathon where we just wanted a day in Boston, rather than in Hopkinton where we had been staying.
Great choice at breakfast and lots of coffee available as well as a shuttle , whim we didn’t use because we like walking!
King bed was soooo comfortable and lovely towels and beautifully clean; friendly staff who smiled in the corridors. Used the gym which had cardio equipment and weights and a lovely but small pool .

We had numerous issues on arrival, check in was v slow. I asked for the sofa bed to be made up and had to ask 3 more times - 4 different members of staff and in the end had to speak to manager. Another guests eye drop bottle was under the bed and the toilet was dirty. We had asked earlier about moving rooms & was told none were available !! Suddenly the manager found a room and so we were moved !!!!
When the sofa bed was made up there was only about 30cm to squeeze past it to exit the roof - very risky if we needed to exit the room in an emergency. There was definite communication issues between front of house and house keeping.

The room isn't huge, but with two 150cm beds, it's manageable for a family with kids if you don't mind snuggling. The mattress was incredibly soft; surprisingly, I usually get back pain at home but slept on this soft bed for three nights with no issues. There's a Starbucks drip coffee maker in the room, and another Starbucks next to the front desk on the second floor. Bar10, also on the second floor, serves good food. The hotel connects to two malls, which is fantastic in the cold winter as you don't have to go outside to find food. The cleanliness was impeccable, it looked like it had just been renovated. The shower had both an overhead rain shower and a handheld option; even though it was in a tub, the water pressure was excellent. Facing north, we had an unobstructed view of the river and MIT across the way. Boston truly is a beautiful city, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
There is nothing around the hotel, but you can park for free. If you don't have a car, it is not recommended to stay, which is very inconvenient.
The facilities are complete, there is a small swimming pool and gym, breakfast is a typical American style, nothing wrong.
There is a self-service washer dryer, which is more convenient!
The hotel pool was fantastic and very clean. The front desk service was excellent. Our room offered a wonderful view, and it was so comfortable to just sit and enjoy it. The room itself was spacious, and parking was convenient. It's truly a great place to stay, and the breakfast was plentiful.
The overall hotel is old and similar to a 4-star hotel in China. The room is small. The bed is very comfortable. There is no coffee machine and no hot water. There is a pizza restaurant next to the main entrance. It is the cheapest and most delicious pizza restaurant in the United States. You can try it if you pass by.
Great hotel in Sea Port area of Boston. 12 minutes walk to Downtown. There are many nice restaurants and bars around the area. The hotel is modern, rooms are spacious. Would stay here again!
The hotel I booked for Boston Marathon is a little off the beaten track. The hotel itself is pretty good, big and new. There is a Starbucks downstairs. The room is cleaned promptly every day, which is rare in the United States.
Room decor was a bit tired, but spacious. Would have liked a coffee pot, but not a big deal. We only spent one night. Overall the property was beautiful. We stayed in the motor lodge. There are several locations on property to stay.

GGuest UserLocation was perfect, quincy food market next door. Plenty of good restaurants around. Walking distance to little Italy and state house to follow freedom trail. In terms of the Hotel, gym is small, only few machines in so you need to time it well to use it if you don't want go share it with others. Room was big, dated. Our room smelt, we could not establish why. Also we could not open our balcony door to get fresh air. We spoke to the reception and they offered to sent someone but nobody showed up. We pulled up with the smell by using AC. However without fresh air we struggled to sleep as was either got to hot or to cold. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was cleaned every day, bed was done, fresh towels and toiletries change every day. Fridge in our room was broken so we could not use it to store cold water. Staff overall was very nice. They have suitcase storage which made things easy. We had our flight in the evening and full day go still enjoy Boston. Check out is at 12 which leaves you with plenty of time in the morning if you wish go have slow morning.
GGuest UserThe room was elegant, tastefully decorated, spacious, and well-equipped. The cleanliness was excellent, and the hardware exceeded expectations. However, one lady at the front desk had a very poor attitude; she seemed to look down on people, almost to the point of discrimination.
MMin761220The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and parks. The room is clean and tidy. There are large windows that can be opened for ventilation. The only downside is that the soundproofing is a little poor. You can hear the people in the next room on the conference call in the early morning. You can bring earplugs to avoid this problem.

AAddicted to TravelThe location of the hotel cannot be beat. Unfortunately our room had a few faults. The AC unit was extremely loud. The motor on the fridge was also very noisy. It made sleep a bit difficult. Our unit faces the loading bay of the healthcare center next door. So each morning, we are awakened by the early shift’s arrival. The free breakfast was good for the first couple days. But the lack of variety after one week was a bit disappointing. There is a Star Market and a Target not too far away from the hotel.
GGuest UserOverall a good experience for a pricey hotel in Boston. I think they are all quite expensive. Nice hotel and staff. Food and bar good. Liked the “free” tea/coffee, water and snacks, and rooftop pool and bar. I think that’s why they charge an amenity fee. No smoking at the rooftop pool/bar which was a pain. They should set aside a small corner for smokers as it’s outside after all.
I think the bathroom/shower facilities could be updated. The functioning of it seemed outdated and tricky to work. We only had a trickle of cold water coming out of our sink tap which was annoying.
Overall though a good experience for our 3 nights in Boston.

HHemantDMy last stay 3 weeks ago was excellent. But last night the room was freezing cold. 65 F . Out side was 5 F.
The man on front desk was not polite. Changed the room from 326 to 832 with same temp. Sent a van driver to check the problem. And said he cannot do anything more. There was no engineering staff.
Very unhappy with this uncomfortable night. Travellers, please be careful.
GGuest UserRooms are nice, water park is good, arcade was fun. Restaurant was horrible. Very under staffed, waited for 20 mins for our drinks, which was water with lemon and then another 40 mins for our food which came out cold. And loud, it's so loud. We have an autistic son and we asked several hotel workers for help. Can we sit away from the live music...no. Instead they seated us directly in the middle of the whole restaurant. They could've had more activities for families since it's the winter. We tried it and it's not our cup of tea.
