I only spent 1 night here, and I was kinda prepping for a typical sort of crappy motel. Is it a luxury hotel? No, no one is gonna confuse it for that. But the room was comfortable, the wifi worked, the shower was fine, AC worked well and maybe most importantly for an airport hotel, the price was reasonable and there was a shuttle available. I really couldn't have asked for anything more in an airport hotel, frankly every major city should have this as an option and sadly that's just not the case, far too often you're in over $100 for the same room or worse. Of note, I clicked ”yes” an outdoor pool is available, but in reality their pool is totally out of commission. Didn't bother me, and in the upcoming months it won't matter, but if you wanted to take a dip, you can't.

Going to the hotel selected on Detroit online, I thought it would be more prosperous to get closer to the casino. In fact, the size of the casino in the United States is not large enough to compare with Macau, Malaysia and South Korea. There are more black people around, and there are fewer yellow people. It is not safe to go out alone. It is not recommended to travel freely. It is better to live in a hotel on the Detroit River. The scenery and humanities are better.

We got email confirmation of a room for six people at $116. When we got there they showed us a room that wouldn't fit six and was also half unpainted, dirty, dark, and smelly. They said they could give us a room that would fit us for $16 more plus tax. With little option because they would not pay attention to our email confirmation, we accepted that--then were charged an extra $32.40 TWICE on our credit card. Then they refused to refund us the second $32.40 because they had given us the nicest room in the hotel and had to charge us full price for it. WHAT??!!!! I demanded that the manager call me back, and he never did. I have never had such a bad experience with a hotel. Not to mention it is not ”Bridgeview” and has no breakfast except for pre-packed muffins.

When I arrived to check in, I was told that my reservation had been changed to double Queen instead of the king suite I had wanted. The receptionist at the front was apologetic and offered a discount. I am rating this poor because I would have appreciated a phone call previous to this change. That would have given me the opportunity to cancel and find a different place. Also, when I asked to speak to the manager that told the receptionist to make the change, the manager didn’t work in the weekend. I took the discount and the room. Luckily, I am only spending one night. This is just a place to rest my head for tonight. I will remember this experience and not book a room through this hotel again. Obviously, reservations do not matter.

The hotel was quite clean, there was no elevator, and two large boxes were on the second floor. Like an upgraded version of the motel, but the room is very comfortable, the bed is big, the quilt is very soft and comfortable!

We made a last minute call for a room and talked with Elaine, she saved the last king bed. We were surprised with the people and cleanliness, especially with the price. It doesn’t have all the amenities but it’s clean and friendly. The morning people were just as friendly. We would stay again.

However, the hotel does not provide free breakfast, and you can only dine in or order food at reflection, which is very different from other Marriott hotels. Check-in that night was at 12:00am, and there was no staff at the front desk. I waited for a while before they came out... The room I was assigned was next to the equipment room, and the cleaning staff would disturb my rest when they opened and closed the door in the morning.

We have been going to this hotel since 2016 and it has just gone down hill!! We had the King bed, studio suite, lake view, hot tub room. First thing we notice was there was no chair for sitting in, as it states it will have. Which means you either sit on the bed to watch TV, which is not very comfortable for someone with back issues, or you take the chair without arms from the desk to sit in. When we asked at the front desk about it they said ”you must have the room that had a chair break”. We asked if they could bring one from another room and they said ”they didn't have any, they had one in the storage shed but the maintenance man needs to put it together”. We ended up bringing in a plastic chair from our patio area. Later, as we're trying to watch a movie, we hear a horrible noice through the wall for several minutes and then it got louder!! We called the front desk and Amanda (I believe was her name) said she'd be down, 20 minutes later she shows up and says ”that's terrible, I don't know what it would be” and then proceeded to say ”what do you want me to do about it?” Really, we're paying good money for this room and we'd like to be able to enjoy it and sleep that night. She said she didn't have any other rooms except the ones upstairs that have wet carpet! She was VERY RUDE and said she'd contact her manager. Well an hour later we don't hear back and the noise is still going on, so we go down to the front desk to see what they were willing to do and again she was very rude and said she notified the manager but hadn't heard back. When we told her that the noise we had in our room was unacceptable, she continued to be extremely rude to us. We told her we wanted to cancel our room for the next night (because we weren't going to stay someplace where we couldn't sleep for 2 nights) and she told us ”you can't do that, it's on the paper you signed”! We told her that we wanted to talk to the manager that night. We never heard from the manager and the next morning when we tried to talk with the manager she wasn't any better. Said she didn't know what we expected her to do. We said we wanted a room we could actually sleep in without a noise so loud we could hear our TV over it and kept us awake. She and the other lady behind the desk goes on to say ”we're booked all summer and never have a complaint.” That is very hard to believe because this noise was extremely loud and one of their own employees witnessed it! They were not willing to cancel & refund our money for the 2nd night and weren't willing to refund any of our money for the first night for the inconvenience. We weren't willing to forfeit our money, for them to just rent the room to someone else and make double the money on it! We were finally able to get them to switch our room for another room, if we would move all our things out by check out time and then come back later. On the last night of Detroit's trip, I thought about setting up a hotel that Americans like to live in. I saw this online comment. The hotel is located a quarter of an hour away from the car rental and close to the airport. The hotel room was very clean, clean and comfortable, and the decoration was relatively new. The hallway was filled with pictures of Ford cars, which was very American. An American restaurant downstairs is also good. In the evening, there is a beer to eat with coloring and grilled fish and chips. The family is happy. Next time consider considering the choice again. Free parking🅿️

This hotel is a “Fair”field We just stayed. The hotel was good enough but nothing exceptional. The positives: it was easy to park and go in, the room was mostly clean but not totally, breakfast was ok, the staff were kind and helpful. The negatives: the air system was awful, our room was hot and muggy and we could get the air to ever properly ventilate and the windows are screwed shut, there was a pill on the floor which feels troubling in the hotel room, there was hair and dirty smudges on the wall of the shower, the sink drain was slow and I asked for it to be repaired and it wasn’t attended to. Also this hotel is constructed in a way where every door slam, foot fall and sound is audible. Mercifully people were quiet during our stay but we always knew when our upstairs neighbors were up and walking around their room. It’s a cheap hotel, it’s clean enough but you definitely get what you pay for.

Have stayed there for many years, using Park n Fly mostly. The Hotel is bare bones but beds are comfortable and the parking and airport transportation is the perk. Unfortunately we’ve booked another location for our next trip as this Hotel isn’t what it used to be. It’s “ just “ ok for a sleep and go. Staff ok, but not very visible and welcoming. We travelled with friends in October and they weren’t impressed , travelled in March with 10 family members and same. The rooms for families of 4 need at least 2 doubles or queen beds as the “ pullouts” make it very difficult to navigate the room due to angled walls. One family was ok with the 2 queens booked but the other didn’t like the pullout because of the lack of space. We called to change the room and were told “none available “ BUT they were for sale on their site. Although breakfast is included it’s not available for you if you fly early, not even juice or water. Note, there are a few options for food within walking distance and if you drive you can get supplies for breakfast needs etc at Krogers and various stores.

Colleagues went to the United States for a business trip and helped him choose a hotel. The service was quite good, the facilities were ok, the price was not expensive, and the basics were not bad. Mainly interested in parking free, haha

I recently stayed here due to power outages in the area. I expected a decent stay since this property is fairly new. However, in this age of COVID, our room wasn't clean. The shower pan was dirty and stained and there was hair at the bottom. There was also visible dirt and hair in the sink as well as on a towel. We called down to get the bathroom clean (knowing they were sold out so no other rooms) and were just referred to a voicemail for the manager. Not one person offered to come up with a disinfectant or anything. Aside from the lack of cleanliness, the hotel had shotty construction. There are switches that don't work, the lights flickered and there were cracks in walls. There is also no sound barrier between the floors so we had to hear the people bouncing around all night which is something I expect from a cheaper place. There were signs that stated no smoking but you could smell it coming off the elevator....The only positive was the included hot and cold breakfast but I won't stay or recommend this place for someone to stay again. Overall, disappointed.

Wonderful hospitality in hotel and IHOP/Applebee's restaurant. Clean room with microwave, fridge, desk and good WiFi. Skyway walkway to the Renaissance Center and Renaissance Marriott. No winter coat needed. No complaints here! Nice sofa with convenient food tray table. Lots of mini shampoo and shower gel thingies in the bathroom! Intuitive design. Definitely a good hotel for business travel.

All the necessary facilities are available, and they are also very clean, with large rooms and good air. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic, and there are many types of restaurants. The hotel is very close to the airport and travel is more convenient. Overall a pretty good experience,

I arrived late after flying into Detroit. After waiting 25 minutes for a shuttle, I took a taxi to the hotel. The bar and kitchen had just closed. No drinks were available in the small market off the lobby. My room was mostly clean. Both my room and public spaces in the hotel were (somewhat recently) renovated to one of the newer Sheraton design themes. The renovation was done cheaply. Basically, the bare minimum required to keep the Sheraton franchise. Some new wallpaper, carpets, and some new furniture. The decor they chose is ugly. Hideous shades of brown and taupe. My room still had an ancient iHome alarm clock/radio that hasn't worked for years as it's no longer compatible with new iPhone models. Some of the case goods in the room look unchanged from before the renovation. That side, the renovation is already starting to show its age. Some furniture was already scratched and showing wear-and-tear, carpet in the hallways had extensive stains, walls and door frames were scuffed, etc. It's sad to see such poor maintenance on a relatively new product. None of the usual Sheraton amenities were provided in the room. No vanity kit, mouthwash, slippers or a robe. No bottles of water. All I received was one bar of soap; big dispensers of soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash; a note pad; and one pen. Also, the dispensers were NOT tamper-proof. So, you probably want to bring your own shampoo, etc. Absolutely zero Bonvoy elite status recognition, unless you asked for something like a late check-out. Breakfast in the lobby bar/restaurant was off a limited menu. My eggs were actually quite good. The orange juice was sugary and tasted watered down. My coffee was refilled once -- that's it. No newspapers in the lobby or club lounge. All things considered, the Sheraton is an old 1970s or 1980s airport hotel that was probably one of the few full-service hotels at the airport back when it was built. Now, there are quite a few other hotels nearby, including the excellent Westin inside the airport terminal itself. If you can afford the rates at the Westin, there's no reason to stay at the Sheraton.

Environmental sanitation is OK, breakfast is ordering, there are not many options, airport bus is good, no tips for tipping, expensive, service is warmer than Wyndham, bed facing the window, not in line with Chinese feng shui, big bed, can be side sleep

We stay in many Hilton properties as HH diamond members. This Hilton Garden Inn is one of the BEST we have found. Check-in was fast and flawless. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent - fresh, tasty, plentiful and the service was great. We could not have asked for more. Hilton is a premium brand and the people at this place really do hospitality right. Thanks for a great overnight visit!

This hotel takes up an entire city block. The sitting areas in the huge lobby are beautiful. We had avery nice meal at the on site Wolfgang Puck Restaurant and a reasonably priced breakfast at another of his eateries. Our king bedded room was adequate but not spacious, while the bathroom was small and lacking in space for toiletries. The hotel is located near the Ford Presidential Museum, which was very convenient.

Zero stars across the board. Started off feeling like a scam paying a higher price on the right side of the counter under the wydham sign, than on the left side of the counter under Days Inn sign. The clerk was so freaked out about the ”situation” in the pool he could barely function and he was the only one there with a line of like 7 people. Finally got a room but who needs a room key when your door is already open. I didnt find a dead body in my room, just the stale smell of cigarettes wafting throughout the entire property. Or was that the mold smell, hard to pinpoint. Outrageously priced for what was offered. Divorcing Wyndham hotel stays after this one.

Lots going on here. Strange setup in the room but not bad. Staff was helpful. Machines were not stocked and the ice machines broken. Overall would probably not frequent this one unless another trip changed my mind or the convenience due to location made it worth the stay. Definitely wouldn't say it's a bad place but there was a lot of questionable activity that even the young woman behind the desk had to keep getting involved in, which she did a very good job of while remaining very pleasant.

We were driving the whole day and finally decided at about 8 pm to find a room for the night, without using any booking platform. Best Western was so welcoming and organized a room quickly so that we could rest for the night. The room was spacious and so comfortable. We had a car so we were able to easily find places to eat nearby that suited our needs. This hotel is just off a highway so easy to find and travel from. The free breakfast was delicious in a clean, dedicated space within the hotel lobby. Although only simple fare like cereal, pastries, coffee and juice etc, it suited us perfectly and allowed us to get onto the road quickly, since we had another long day ahead. We looked at other hotels near to this one, but Best Western's building, parking lot and surrounds looked clean, organised and safer than other hotels in the immediate area which might have been cheaper.

We will definitely visit this Residence Inn again. It was super convenient to shopping and restaurants. Close to Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. The Staff was very friendly as was the surrounding area of Michigan. We live in a more metropolitan area and were very impressed with how nice and friendly everyone was in this location. When I booked the room, I called because I had two dogs and the total weight of the dogs was over the maximum weight allowed according to the web site. The Manager was very nice and agreed to allow our two old dogs and even marked our reservation to show that we would be checking in with two dogs. Unfortunately, one of our old dogs passed away the day before we were to arrive. At check-in they mentioned ”2 dogs” and I sadly reported the change in our situation. Upon checkout I determined that they did not even charge us for the one dog we did have with us. Also, due to the booked-up nature of the weekend, they upgraded us, without charge, to a 2 bedroom suite. We had a full living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, three televisions, fireplace, etc. for the cost of the one bedroom suite we had reserved. My only regret in staying at this location is that my visit was too short. Next time I will plan to stay longer.
